Côte Soho

Very good food, service and value for money. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Probably one of the worse experiences we've had at Cote. Monday 16 December, we arrived early had the restaurant was not that busy. Our starters came fairly quickly and we enjoyed. Our mains took somewhat longer. Whilst that taste was fine it was obvious the food had be held under heat lamps or similar as the top of the pork was very dry. Up to that point we were not panicking. We ordered pudding and that was when service finally fell apart. By now we had been in the restaurant about an hour. Yes, they were busy but we kept asking for an update on our pudding. More than 30 minutes later the manager told us they were "just" coming. Too late, we had a theatre booking to get to, so we cancelled pudding, paid and left. In total, an hour and forty minutes and service was not completed much to our disappointment. Manager offered free puddings after the theatre but we declined.

Côte Soho is always fabulous and probably the best Côte in London. The food, service and ambiance are always consistently excellent, which make it a pleasure to dine here.

We arrived at 6.15for a two course meal. It was my wife's 77th Birthday. We needed to leave at 7.15. to see our granddaughter who was appearing in La Miserables. Unfortunately our first course arrived AT 6.50 so we did not have enough time to have a dessert. The service was very slow. The manger was very helpful. We paid for a two course meal. We have eaten at many cote restaurants and the is the first time we have been disappointed. P.S. The first course we ate was delicious

Tried this branch this time because Market Place was fully booked. We had a very pleasant evening and the food and service was great here too. A tad noisier perhaps but it was Saturday evening and very busy so not surprising.

This is a very unusual rating for me. I always have 5• Experience in your restaurants. The food was good but the service was very poor.

Lovely meal as always when dining at Cote, was a good atmosphere, but if you want it a little quieter book a table downstairs. Staff were attentive good service.

An understandably busy afternoon and service a little show. The duck on the Christmas menu was one tiny drum stick and not great value at all for the £50ph spent.

A Great Evening, with good food chosen from the Christmas Menu and great service especially for a group of 29 people. Being able to pre-order our menu choices beforehand was really good.

We had lovely time. Food was excellent and staff were very prompt even though it was very busy.

The cassoulet was revolting, overcooked duck in a bowl of stodgy stuff that you couldn’t make out apart from the crunchy croutons. It was overall a very disappointing experience.

We had to wait 15 mins for a table, but great service we were given complimentary Kier Royales

Was a bit disorganized and the drinks orders were wrong quite a lot but the food was great.

Party of 6 for an early evening meal. Our table was quite close to a noisy table of 4 - who fortunately left after our starters. The waitress was a little slow to take our drinks order. After that the service improved and our courses arrived in good time. The food was excellent and very good value for money as we ate off the prestige menu.

The staff were very welcoming when we arrived. They were very pleasant and chatty throughout, the food was delicious. We had a good meal and evening there. Can not fault my experience today, will defiantly return, was a pleasure going to eat there

Very bad service. Food not up to standard, no dill in the fish pie and absolutely tasteless. Horribly expensive bill for what we ate

Overall it was good, staff a bit rushy and rude sometimes... one of the waitresses knocked me with her tray and didn’t apologise, the staff doesn’t make the atmosphere cosy and that’s a shame because the food was actually good and the service fast

We visited for a pre theatre dinner last night and I must compliment the lovely waitress we had. She ensured our food was brought out promptly, and, despite a large group beside us, she ensured our needs were well attended to! I would highly recommend Cote for a pre theatre dinner - excellent service and value!

Had a great time in wardour street cote -brilliant choice of menus and good food and service. Very good value. Happily return.

For the first time I have given Côte a less than perfect score. This was my 3rd visit to a Côte restaurant in less than 10 days (client festive lunches etc) - but yesterday was a pre Panto lunch with friends and to celebrate a Birthday Service was slow to say the least and we felt that we were constantly chasing for attention, constantly asking if things were right what was being served - and then my steak arrived stone cold. No apology, no offer to have something as a gesture, just a grunt to say ‘i’ll Sort it’ - most of the table had finished their main course by the time my new steak arrived. I’d like to excuse it by saying the restaurant was super busy and these things happen - but it wasn’t! Disappointing to say the least given I am normally a huge ambassador for your restaurants ....

Very pleasant dinner with friends. Excellent French food at a reasonable price efficiently and very pleasantly served. We eat often in Cote restaurants around UK and find them always reliable.

Amazing, friendly, yet elegant restaurant, perfect for celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a truly delicious meal. The service was excellent, they were very friendly and one could really feel cared for. The food was exquisite; both visually pleasing and even better once tasted. Each ingredient was perfectly prepared with finesse and skill. Moreover, it is truly a great value for money!

Poor service. Order bottle of wine but didn’t arrive till half way to out lunch I actually had to ask for the wine. Order past but no Parmesan. When I ask I just got reply we do not have it today no sorry. Don’t serve past if you don’t have Parmesan. Very poor service. I am not sure if I will go to this restaurant again

Food was great and waiting staff were friendly and efficient - however there were really long delays in food arriving - both at the start and between courses. However when we pointed this out they didn't charge for coffee.

Always a good meal at Cote. I had the fillet steak which was cooked perfectly. The fries were a little overcooked but not that it spoiled the meal. Unfortunately the waitress knocked our wine over. But the staff were extremely quick to tidy the spillage and provide us with a new bottle. A great atmosphere and enjoyable meal. I will visit again.
