Côte Sloane Square

The seafood stew was delicious. Thoroughly recommended. As usual, the service was fast, friendly and efficient. Although this branch is always quite busy (and very noisy) I always have a good experience.

The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. The service was good considering how busy they were. The only bad thing was the waiter spilt our wine after pouring it into our glasses

Overall experience o.k. We eat in Cote a lot - mostly Salisbury, Bath and Cheltenham. The service was o.k. but a bit 'lax' - food very good though. They need to brush up a bit - maybe it's because it's in Sloane Square, but the provinces and the service is a lot better. Need to brush up on customer service; that said I don't want to sound difficult but at 4pm on a Thursday afternoon it was far from busy, therefore staff need to switch up a bit.

Good food, an excellent waiter, clean and comfortable toilets and a relaxing atmosphere.

Wasn’t a great experience. The valentine me u only option was not clear anywhere online when booking or when table confirmed by the automatic email however this would have been fine if the food and service had been to the usual cote standard The waiter was very flamboyant but extremely Brusque and dismissive, my steak peppercorn sauce was split and too thick, fries ordered were brought after we had finished we had to ask for water three times and. Read twice - this all would have been more understandable or if the restaurant had been super busy but it was not as we were eating relatively early at 7pm seated...... very very poor experience for a meal for 2 costing £100

Well it was a busy time, full of customers heading off to Cadogan Hall for the excellent Clare Teal concert. It took a while to get the attention of the serving staff, but otherwise it was the usual excellent food that one expects at Cote. The one criticism was that the chips were cold and fresh ones had to be substituted. Excellent value as always.

Delicious Valentine menu with wine paring and lovely staff. We’ve never had a bad meal there. Great to have some different choices on the menu. My fish was really fresh and full of flavour.

Friendly staff, delicious food, wine not too expensive and overall very reasonable. Unfortunately, the noise level is almost unbearable, but I can’t see what you can do about that🙉

A very nice place for dining also in the early evening. Excellent service and good food. Much appreciated also the young (Italian) waiter's knowledge and advice on the wine.

The maitre'd was very helpful and the complimentary cocktails were fantastic. I was a little disappointed with the steak frites if I'm honest and the green beans were undercooked also so I would say the food was a bit disappointing.

Very nice brunch. Good service, food quality and value for money with the ‘formule’. My wife enjoyed the complet breakfast. The mushrooms could have been warmer. Great location in Sloane Square

Excellent service this time, there was a hiccup, though the waiter forgot our coffees and tea and we had to chase for it but the manager apologised and he brought it for us and not only that but we were not charged for it. A tip for the manager - server’s arms are never to be crossed in front of a guest. I have put 4 stars because of the tea and coffee.

A friendly and efficient service with good food and wine. We have eaten here before on our way to the Cadogan Hall and will certainbly do so again.

Worst meal I’ve had a Cote Waiter gave us reasonable service but main course took over 20 minutes without ordering a starter. My friend ordered salmon, frites and a green salad. I ordered the fish pie with peas His green salad was recycled as were my peas so we sent them back and asked those items taken off the bill. Horrible to have food obviously reheated / salad destroyed from leftovers The first bill had all items on so we asked for an amended bill. Came finally. I use Cote in many places in London but the Sloane Square restaurant is not good enough.

“Alfie” maitre very attentive, staff friendly, polite and hardworking. Food excellent, had asparagus, duck and ice cream with hot chocolate sauce. Go two or three times a week when in London, lunch or/and dinner. Atmosphere really relaxed although can be noisy (good sign!!). Jane

I love coming to Côté - it’s always bustling, tasty simple food and good service. This lunch was no different with the waiter recommending various wines and our food arriving in good time. It was as usual delicious. One thing I would say is that we pre-booked a table and weren’t taken to a lovely spot. The waiters pushed two tables right at the back together rather than seating us at one of the nice round tables which are ideal for bookings.

As usual the Staff and Food at your Sloane Square restaurant was top of the Class. WE always eat here when we are going for an evening entertainment at Cadagon Hall and our meal with you set our evening off to be one we really enjoyed. We look forward to our next visit. Your staff are so welcoming and helpful even though they are so busy looking after all the customers/

Very busy time, (Tom Jones), the staff were excellent and the services was quick. Classic Cote and perfect for this occasion.

Good food and service. Unfortunately the noise level made conversation almost impossible. Far too many people shouting ‘Yaah ’ at each other. Also badly behaved children were noisy.

I am sorry, but the service was absolutely shocking, We sat at our table for a full 20 minutes without anyone offering us anything. When I went up to the manager to remonstrate, he apologised and came up to take our order. We ordered pre dinner drinks and placed our food order at that time. 15 minutes later, the drinks hadn't arrived bur our 1st courses did. Again I complained, and our waitress offered to take the food back, but on the basis that we had been waiting so long we decided to keep it, and the "pre-dinner drinks" finally arrived shortly thereafter. All in all a highly unstaisfactory expereince. I've been to Cote in Sloane Square on numerous occasions, mainly for breakfast and lunch, and been perfectly happy with everything, but if this dinner is the new standard I shall seriously question ever going back.

Lovely restaurant with pleasant, friendly staff and good food! Unfortunately they forgot to serve the vegetables we’d ordered with our meal but that was the only negative thing about an excellent meal. I highly recommend it!

great French-style food, good service. Very popular at the time we went (7pm Friday), so rather too noisy; and a struggle for those whose hearing was weaker.

A little disappointing! Rather surprised I felt not up to your usual standard. Getting served with the French breakfast within 5/6 mins of ordering it was rather obvious not all freshly cooked... the bacon def not. Had been reheated and tasted like rubbish! The brioche also not freshly toasted. Not rushing to repeat this.

The staff and food were excellent. We had a colleagues lunch and were thoroughly impressed. The ambience was perfect. The food was cooked to perfection and a great selection was offered. Staff were particularly attentive and ensured that all our needs were met. The set lunch menu is second to none and every morsel cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Restaurant was very busy, and not quite coping. I ordered duck which when it cane had barely been cooked at all, and was guey and very tough. I returned it, and the replacement was fine. I have used this as my usual order in Cote, but at very busy times I feel the restaurant should be avoided. IW Portsmouth

A very enjoyable and interesting meal as always. The service is always very pleasant and the staff are always happy to accommodate and specific requests or slight alterations to the dishes offered.

We had booked a table for 5pm which was ready for us on arrival. Service and food were both very good. Prices reasonable, especially for London. A very enjoyable meal with a busy atmosphere.

Great food, service and ambience. Cote maintains standards and the food is served hot, fresh and on warmed plates. I have never had a bad meal here.

Good service, excellent starters and very good wine, but disappointed with the amount of fat and gristle in the steaks (which wasn’t a problem on our previous visit here).

I am from Hong Kong and I had an reservation for breakfast, being placed at a table next to the entrance, when I re-iterated that I did in fact booked our party in and would prefer a different location. The receptionist just shrugged and said "That would be your table." I found it very unaccommodating, especially when someone else came in after me got a table much nearer the restaurant area. When my French friend arrived later on and reinforced the idea that I was sick and would prefer to sit somewhere further from the wind, they have agreed to switch my table. Not sure if this is the way them treating people that are considered as "tourists", though I have lived here for my whole life. Never had I experienced something similar in any other Cotes before, hopefully this was merely just an odd case. The waiters and food were excellent though, will be returning, however, afraid not to the Sloane square branch in particular.

Sunday lunchtime was busy but staff were very friendly and provided a great service. Set menu was good value for the money and offered a wide choice.
