Food was wonderfully delicious. Unfortunately the waiter did not understand the request for a "weak" coffee, so we needed to ask for another "weak" coffee after "strong" coffee was served!!!!!
We were well looked after. I'd booked a table but at the last minute needed an extra chair. The first waiter I asked said he couldn't help, but another waiter managed to find a spare chair, although the restaurant was very busy. Excellent food as usual. We love the readily available chilled tap water.
Excellent pre-concert meal in a friendly, vibrant environment. Service was quick and sure, so no worries about timing. Food and wine excellent quality and great value. Highly recommended.
Always busy and buzzing, but always a great meal. Excellent value set menu. Staff attentive and adept. Would recommend booking at this venue, as gets busy at peak times.
Restaurant was buzzing, service good , food good pre theatre menu satisfying. Many early diners, so restaurant fairly full but having pregooked it was not an issue.
As usual, good quality food and excellent service. The tuna nicoise salad is consistently excellent. Cote Sloane Square is a great place to visit after a concert at the Cadogan Hall with the added attraction of a free kir royale with your concert ticket!
The location of the restaurant is excellent and the set lunch menu very good value. I would recommend both the restaurant and location to any visitor.
Mostly good but artichokes under cooked / tough. Also don't like frites in a bucket (Cote not the only culprit) as you really have to use fingers. Moules as a starter were good value.
This was ideal for a pre concert dinner. The service was efficient and food, delicious. This is always a reliable chain of restaurants for this kind of occasion.
All good , service bit slow and confused wrong food delivered at first, but great waitress. Only downside was noise levels - very loud guess restaurant acoustics
The food was very good. However, the service was far too rushed. It was more like fast food than a relaxed meal in what is a French style restaurant.
Lovely food, service and setting. We had a birthday voucher for free drinks which made it special. Very good value set menu. Overall a lovely dinner.
It was early evening and very busy and we did wait about 30 minutes between the first and second courses. Food and service otherwise was very good
Excellent food at amazingly cheap prices for central London. Good range of choices on both the set menu and the A La Carte. Good selection of wines - water provided on arrival.
Took my mum late Saturday afternoon for a Mother's Day treat. We were earlier than booked but that wasn't a problem at all. Everyone one of the staff that served us were lovely. The food was wonderful - simple but super tasty which was perfect for my mum (and me of course).
Exactly what I'd expect from Cote. Good basic food, reasonably priced, and better service than in some of the branches. There was a bit of a scrum getting in but that was because of a large number of people turning up at the same time following a concert.
The service, food and attention was very good. I was spoilt with a complimentary Kir Royale and desert as a birthday treat. I also received the table that I requested.
Nice ambience, good selection of dishes and attentive service. The wine list has a well-priced variety both bottles and by the glass. Convenient too for Sloane Sq Underground Stn.
By far the best value restaurant in this expensive area and Cote's standard is consistently high and the monthly changing menu provides variety. Smiling service.
Very busy as ever but the food is always good and the staff are very efficient and friendly. Good atmosphere and a very convenient location. Menu is excellent.
Quick and friendly service and excellent food we will definitely be back . We loved the kir royales and the chocolate fondants were delicious as were the fish cakes
It was a pleasure to have our pre-theatre supper here - I have been here many times but it was my old friend's first experience and she was impressed with the location, quality of the food and value for money. Look forward to my next visit - J
A lovely lunch meal for three of us. The service was knowledgeable and good in pleasant surroundings. The only disappointment was that a dish we wanted to try was not available when we visited. Hope it's available when we visit again.....
We came after a choir performance and were therefore eating later than usual. Th staff were very patient and helpful and the food was delicious. We had a great night, thank you.
Good service and food is consistently good. Never disappoints. It's always worth making a reservation as it gets busy although they do seem to generally manage to seat people without.
Good, brisk, friendly service. Good food. Very reasonable prices for the fixed 3-course menu. Busy restaurant but comfortable atmosphere. No problems or issues throughout the meal.
Good pre-theatre dinner for 4 of us. Generally efficient and friendly service at a very busy time for them. Pre-theatre menu is pretty good value.
Always lovely to come through the doors to a warm welcome and buzzy atmosphere. Over several visits, I cannot fault the friendly, charming, professional service, the menu choice, excellent food and wine. And good value too! Thank you.
Unfortunately my request for a particular table was not met even though I booked over a week ago and phoned in the morning! We were given kirs royale as compensation and our lunch was very nice. Crème caramel delicious as always
We have dined at this branch of Cote many times and always enjoyed it in the past. The food is always reliable and a meal at Cote does not break the bank. This branch, in particular, has a very nice ambience. Our visit on this occasion was not very satisfactory. The waitress seemed to have little interest in listening to what we were ordering and consequently we received the wrongs drinks initially and didn't receive the sides we had ordered.
we were a party of four needing to get fed before a concert, good food, good service. efficient delivery against pre concert timeline, friendly atmosphere of crowded restaurant, London at its best!
Pleasant, unpretentious and affordable place with attentive and attractive staff. Good location. I always have the granola and berry dish for breakfast so can't comment on the menu, though my friend's salmon and scrambled eggs looked good too. Busy at lunchtime so you need to book (I have been unable to get a table on various occasions).
I have had better croissants in non-French cafes. They did not taste buttery and were not crispy on outside. The the the the the the
Food was delicious as I have come to expect from Cote. E xtremely busy and noisy branch and not such a lovely ambience as I have experienced in other branches of this chain. Servers seemed rushed off their feet and it wasn't easy to get their attention. Would probably not visit again
We received the usual friendly, speedy service, with fresh, good quality food. It is a busy, buzzy place. We go regularly and will continue to do so.
There was a Good atmosphere, we could not can't fault the food, and it is good value for money. Côte is a good brand that delivers.
It is so conveniently placed and we weren't hurried even though we took a long time over our lunch as it was a catch up with a friend!
Pretty good overall, one waiter after we asked him if we could have no chili in the Linguine went off to check and then never came back, so we waited a while before asking another waiter to take our order. But food was very good.
Very good service. Whole party just wanted steak and frites and served without any issues. Had table in the corner which I guess is where they put big parties so recommend if you have a big crowd and want space to yourselves. Feels like a private room if you want that vibe,
Nice meal but nothing exceptional -- waiters and waiters very efficient and friendly--soup and main course could have been hotter -- pleasant evening with a very "buzzy" atmosphere.
Excellent service, 3 course meal ordered at 6 pm eaten at a leisurely pace but still plenty of time to get to Cadoghan hall for 7.30 pm evening concert.
Tasty food in a cafeteria like atmosphere. Service a bit slow. Whilst food was very good, I will look for a cosier environment next time.
Cote is my favourite restaurant and a place I book to meet friends. My experience at Cote has been always pleasant, excellent food and service!
Nice food, friendly staff and quick (which is what we wanted as it was a post-theatre dinner). I'm sure we will use it again after the theatre.
Very swift and friendly service. Enjoyed my birthday treat of a Kir Royale. Am booked to return several times in the future and we often go to Cote in Brighton too
Good food and service. It took too long to be shown to the table as there were many people arriving and only one person greeting and taking guests to their tables. More greeters would be better.
Always like cote wherever I go. Reliably good food, fair prices, good service and nice atmosphere! A bit noisy but that's because it is popular!
Breakfast is good - nice atmosphere for business meeting - staff was very good and attentive. Would recommend for social and business meetings - regularly used.
Very Friendly and helpful staff . Excellent service. Great food . Will come again . Busy but made to feel very welcome. Great atmosphere and ambience.
Staff exceptional, birthday celebration was excellent. Used the reward scheme and enjoyed a great bottle of red. Staff slays attentive without being ever present. Very acomodating. Will return again soon.
