Côte Sloane Square

Another very good meal at Cote. As usual the food was good value (perhaps the starter of mackerel and beetroot was not quite up to the usual standard) but more notable this time was the outstanding service.

Very good food (I had a chicken & walnut salad which was delicious & very generous); very pleasant & quick service, which I appreciated before a concert. The only negative point is the noise!!

Very nice restaurant. Fast efficient service. Not very good at handling English queues but that is minor in comparison to everything else. Ideal for Cadogan Hall. Book early for unrushed meal. They are very good at it. Fantastic price for pre-theatre meal. 12.5% service included.

We had not visited this branch of Cote Brasserie before and it lived up to the expectations we have have of this chain. On a late Sunday afternoon it looked very attractive and beautifully lit. The food was of the usual high standard but I would suggest we have had more pleasant service at other branches. On the whole a very happy visit.

Lovely meal from the Xmas menu. The staff were very welcoming and the service was excellent. I just wish there was a Cote in Gunwharf Quays near to where we live!!!

Often have lunch at Cote, Sloane Square. Staff always attentive and friendly, meals and meal choices excellent, also, a very comfortable environment in which we are never rushed. Looking forward to trying your new branch in Lewes.

A rather disappointing visit to Sloane Square today. The Christmas menu was nothing special and not at all seasonal. My rib eye steak which I had asked to be served rare had to go back as it was over cooked and dry. This was done quite quickly but as I had a couple of guests with me this mistake was a bit disappointing. I am usually very delighted by lunch at Cote but not up to the usual standard today sadly.

Great food and great service! The waitress was lovely and made sure we had a enjoyable experience. Food was excellent and at reasonable prices. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Always busy and lively. This branch of Côte is reliably good with a consistently high standard of food and good service. Last night was a little slow but everything else was excellent. How do they do it? We love Côte!

As usual Cote Sloane Square was very busy so the service was slow. We asked for some bread and it eventually came with starters - 20 minutes plus after the request. Food was excellent and I asked the waiter to tell the chef. Some of our party wanted changes to the meals as offered and the changes were made without any fuss - shame about the service.

Too noisy. It is always busy so there is no need to have an environment that increases the noise level. Something to lessen it would help - some soft furnishings usually works. Everyone near us was having to shout. I now have a very sore throat - not good as I have had cancer of the larynx. But shouting is not a pleasant experience for anyone. Yes we return - for the prices, quick service and predictability. But that does not mean it is a pleasant experience. If a similar restaur opened in the same vicinty that was popular yet did not demand shouting of its patrons, many of us would move readily.

Great place to meet friends.the location suits me. Food has been consistent over the past 5 years, as has the service. Plan to return soon Thanks.

Great early evening meal, thoroughly enjoyed each course. Waiter was excellent, very keen for us to upgrade everything - he's a professional seller and very good at it too!

Always a warm welcome, the staff are very friendly, service is quick and efficient - great for if you're heading off to a show afterwards! Food was very tasty, and very good value for money.

We ate from the set menu and the food was very good food, as was the service. We just would have preferred a little more space between the tables.

We really enjoyed our meal and my friend was very impressed with Cote. I've been going for years and have never had a bad meal there, it's amazing value.

I love cote normally. Very over crowded. Staff distracted. My food was over cooked and sent back. Felt stressed and not looked after. Thought maybe because close to Christmas... having thought it was a reliable safe haven will rethink ... which is a shame .

Great location, great atmosphere and great food. What more could you want? Would have one of their excellent breakfasts every day if I lived in the neighbourhood.

Busy lovely atmosphere. Warm welcome and efficient service. Our food was full of flavour, especially mains of duck and pork. The pork was a substantial dish served with lovely cabbage, good crackling and a side dish of dauphinoise. The tart au citron was pleasingly sharp and lemony. With a good wine list, we felt we had excellent value.

Great service, good food as always. All Cote brasseries seem to work hard to maintain standards and Sloane Square is no exception; such good value.

The 4 of us had the pre theatre menu. Excellent value and very tasty food. Moving to a quieter table was handled with no fuss. Had a token with our Cadogan hall tickets for a kir royale and we were all given one. Lovely waiter as well! Not rushed to leave. Would recommend.

I always enjoy dining at Cote, the food is consistently good and the service is excellent. The ambiance is buzzy, sometimes a little too noisy!

Having enjoyed breakfast at a Cote previously, I was surprised that 'suddenly' the Cafetiere coffee was not an option on the Formule menu. I raised this with the manager who was surprised and resolved the issue. With this distraction I realised that the waiter had not bothered to ask me about my choice of eggs or toast for my Full English Breakfast I accepted what arrived but felt frustrated by such simple lack of service. Of course the 12.5% service charge is automatically added and maybe this is why the servers don't bother because I suspect few people go to the effort of challenging the 'default' service charge.

Nice food but very noisy.Thought the Christmas time lunch menu rather expensive considering the choices on it. I had lunch at Cote last Thursday so was presented with the same choices. Since I did not wish to eat the same again my choice from the set menus was very limited.

The food was fine, and good value, except that the chicken liver parfait was very cold, straight out of the fridge. But it was very noisy and the tables were too close together. It was a little hard to get the attention of the staff.

Very busy as usual but service excellent and food consistently good,went pre theatre and near Christmas so expected the p!ace to be packed and was by 6pm,have to book.

Poor long-winded service, a grumpy waitress who was cross because we asked for our dishes to wait before being served because our aperitif drinks had not arrived. She then ignored us because she was cross. Although the manager apologised and took money off our bill, it was not a good experience, and everything was very slow. I would not recommend this branch of Cote.

Lively atmosphere for an early evening supper either for shoppers before going home or for people (like us) going to a concert at the Codagan Hall around the corner. Efficient and friendly service. Just the job.

Lively environment, great food and v good service. I was with a party of girlfriends and they got the balance just right, giving us enough time to chat and bringing food so we didn’t feel we were waiting.

Prompt efficient service with good food for pre theatre dining ambient surroundings. Very busy so quite noisy but able to carry on a conversation with co diner.

Excellent service, fine food from the cheap menu especially the hake. Good wine list by glass and bottle. Great value. Very convenient for pre-concerts at the Cadogan Hall.

We booked for a pre-concert meal at the Sloane Square restaurant. Great service and wonderful food (fish pie and roast sea bass)- we wouldn't hesitate to go again.

Food and service were both excellent but it was very noisy in the restaurant which spoiled our overall enjoyment. The fact that people were raising their voices to be heard over the music probably added to the level of noise.

As always a great meal and good service. Several different menus to choose from to suit all moods and budgets. We will visit again soon.

I enjoyed the food and it's well priced. Staff were good. I had to avoid the puddings as I'm trying to lose weight - but they did look good. I like that there are numbers of locations in London for Cote.

A very pleasant meal before going to concert. The restaurant was busy but the team were working hard to keep things running smoothly and pleasantly. An enjoyable start to our evening.

I was sat at my table for about 30 mins before I was asked if I would like a drink. Not an issue per se but unimpressive. Food good as per my usual experience of Cote. Located at the back of this large restaurant. More atmospheric/better ambience at the front which faces the street.

I’ve been dining at Cote Sloane Square since they’ve opened this branch. It’s a truly wonderful place with great food and outstanding service. Thank you to everyone at Cote for their wonderful work.

Table of 5 at 9.15pm staff didn’t appear interested in serving us promptly. Kept us waiting and lost our dessert order. Asked waitress to find out what happening but she was more interested in chatting to colleagues. We had a train to catch. Left at 10.55!!! After 2 courses and coffee Food was good when it arrived Used Côte many times before this was disappointing

Great service, food, value for money. Food pre-order worked very well. Great atmosphere in the restaurant. We had a fun evening and will come again!
