I arrived at 5.30 in the evening, feeling rather stressed, and waited 10 minutes for my young cousin to join me. By the time she arrived I felt far less stressed, mainly because of the pleasant atmosphere and the friendly welcome of the staff. We both enjoyed our dinner - spinach salad, mushroom risotto, thin steak [can't remember what it's called], and the chocolate pudding with creme fraiche. The Merlot was an excellent accompaniment. I am rather lame; so greatly appreciated two staff members opening the doors and seeing me to the lift so that I could go downstairs to the loo. The waiter who served us was unfailingly cheerful and helpful. Altogether full marks. The Cote is ideally located on the north side of Sloane Square. The food is great.

The Staff are always Friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is always conducive for a happy occasion . The menu selection is excellent and always enjoy your minute steak frites. As a starter I had the crab salad which was quite outstanding. All in all the start for a very happy evening.

Pleasant and efficient service. Lovely food. Drinks topped up regularly. Our little group (varying between 4 & 6 people) at Cote in Sloane Square 2-3 times a year and we have not been disappointed yet. My only criticism is that the toilets are down a lot of stairs and that the lift doesn't go there. We are not disabled but 2 of us have knee problems (one will be having a knee replacement in April) so this could present problems in the future. I assume there is a 'Disabled' loo somewhere at street level - but where is it?

I thought the muffins were extremely thin, compared to other brunch places I have been too. It also didn't come with any rocket or greens at all and they were quite stingy with the amount of salmon they gave on the eggs royale. The waiter wasn't very adaptable either. I wouldn't go back for brunch/breakfast, there are far better places around.

Great food, great service, can always rely on cotes for a great value, tasty lunch and this branch consistently delivers the goods. Always a pleasure to eat here.

Bit of a wait before being acknowledged. It was busy but there was waiters walking about. Got seat close to the door with a draft every time someone walked in. Try to sit around the corner if you can. Food was excellent as usual, was presented with outdated Christmas menus and a fairly long wait before order was taken. Difficult to get anyone’s attention so had to get up from my table.

Overall nice dinner. Disappointed that our waiter didn’t bring the bread and butter that we ordered on arrival. We reminded him but he forgot again. He had a kind of cocky and cheeky attitude which only works on waiters when they are extremely competent which he wasn't. Delicious food as always. We were presented with the bill with the bread added to it although we never had it. We complained and they removed it.

Came here for a brunch meeting. The service wasn't off to a great start but they more than made up for it and were then very attentive. The food was as delicious as always. I always find it amazing how they can make a full English Breakfast look so healthy!

Choice as always good and reasonably priced. I had steak frites. The frites were fine but the steak tough. I would have sent it back but we were short on time and they were very busy. Staff as always friendly and attentive

Always dependable, well cooked French style cuisine. I just wonder whether they are shrinking the portion sizes to make more money so only a 5 this time. Delightful and helpful waiting staff. This branch is almost always busy so book in advance. We had the excellent prix fixe pre theatre menu.

We are regular diners at Sloane Square and are rarely disappointed. Today’s service from cheerful, charming and courteous staff was impeccable. Food was well presented and satisfying. We enjoyed the very pleasant complimentary bottle of wine. Overall an excellent experience and good value too.

My steak frites was disgusting. It had been beaten out so many times that it was virtually paper thin and tasteless. I have had steak frites many times at Cote and it has always been a reasonable thickness, pink and tasty. The only reason I did not send it back was that I was with clients.

My mistake, in going for a pre-theatre meal. This meant I couldn't send a dish back, as there would have been no time to have something different; I couldn't risk missing the theatre as I was reviewing the play. Rabbit pie sounded great; the potato topping was liquid, so the whole thing had become slop. The waiter was very pleasant and efficient, but the kitchen made a mistake.

Cote Sloane Square is consistently good. The menu in particular is suited to everyone, everyone's available time for dining (ie pre-theatre set menu) and tastes or requirements. I go there at least once a month for one of the usual meal times and am rarely disappointed. If you are going to a show at 7:30 at the nearby Cadogan Hall or the Theatre, it is advisable to book in advance as the restaurant is very busy, and the staff always try to please. They are amazing.

They forgot about our mains and we were on a tight time schedule for the theatre. They apologised but would still make me think twice about returning.

The space between the other table was so narrow that people constantly squeeze-walked behind me, and I could not relax at all while eating. We wanted a relaxing 3-course meal, but the atmosphere of hustle-and-bustle banging into the back of my chair spoilt the dinner.

This restaurant is one of our favourites, so I think if I tell you we go almost every Friday you will believe me! The staff are really amazing, so hard working and it’s obvious they work as a team because the atmosphere is relaxed and efficient. We use other branches too, and food is always consistent.

Unfortunately not good. We ordered fish gougons and both of us left them. We did complain and had a refund of one meal. The rest of the experience was lovely, very good staff, very welcoming and we will come again and hope for a better result.

As usual at Cote, we had a thoroughly enjoyable meal at a very reasonable price. The restaurant was really busy (Sloane Square, Saturday lunchtime) and the staff were working flat-out to keep up with the flow of customers. However, this did not affect the level of service, which was unfailingly polite, attentive and timely.
