Côte Sloane Square

We went to Côtes in Sloane sq for lunch as their lunch set menu is good value. We were therefore surprised to be given a set lunch menu and an a la carte where the set lunch menu was 15.95, up from 10.95 last month. I mentioned this was a huge increase to the waiter and he did not offer an explanation so we chose from the a la carte menu. We chose the half chicken which was very greasy. Only later in the afternoon we noticed that there seems to also be the old, original menu still in place which our waiter had omitted to tell us about or bring to our table. Would we go again? I think this practice was a little sharp and we will give the place a rest for a while at least!

The seating process was badly organised with people having to queue in a semi circles inside due rain and there was only 1 greeter / seater. My guest said that his steak was cold and tasted as if it had been cooked on Sunday -- however the replacement was good. Table service was good ish but bar staff spent too much time chatting behind the bar and not looking at the tables.

A busy Sloane Square restaurant, easy to book and good value for the price. There are several Côte restaurants in central London to choir from. Staff incurable pleasant.

Excellent meal, as always. Had to wait a while for our table to be ready but had the usual great service and delicious food. Will definitely go again.

Fab food. Good price and great staff. I always enjoy Cote and would recommend it for a no fuss and chilled evening. The frozen berries with white chocolate sauce pudding is heaven on earth.

We use this "chain" quite often and have never had a bad meal. They offer good value and service. My only regret was that I for got they included a service charge in the bill and I left them an additional cash tip. I would have hoped that someone would have mentioned that I had tipped them twice. Needless to say it won't happen again.

Booked for a Saturday night with events on at both the local theatre and concert hall. Asked for a table with legrooom and all our requests were satisfied and the menu of the day very satisfactory, along with the Kir and the wine. Service very attentive.

The food was as good as ever and the staff delightful but, not for the first time, we had to ask for the kirs that came free with with our Cadogan Hall tickets to be removed from the bill.

Delicious meal in a very convenient location close to sloane Square tube and Peter Jones. Very quickly delivery of food. Good service and a nice relaxed environment.

Personal favourite of ours which we frequently visit.Great value and priced economically. Lovely location. Highly recommended! Very busy over certain times so advisable to book

Very good atmosphere in restaurant, staff very polite, we could choose our table which was very good. Service was excellent on this occasion and much improved. Food delicious as always and very good menu choice. High,y recommended

We both were disappointed by our starters but they were replaced without any problem. The service is always good at Cote but they must watch the food quality. Still the best chain in UK

Food great and good value as always, service on the slow side but the restaurant was rammed on a Friday night. A large and very loud party made conversation quite difficult

The staff were very helpful and the food was quite good. We thought the glass of wine was overpriced and although we paid the gratuity charge, we would prefer to add the tip ourselves.

I met friends here for lunch as I often do and the food was great and the staff very pleasant and efficient. Convenient location as very close to the tube station so easy for everyone to get there.

A busy pre-concert meal venue near the Cadogan Hall. Excellent staff harassed by an argumentative, loud mouthed nearby customer also using his mobile at high volume. Peaceful for me? No!

The waiters are too posh (obviously fake) to treat you like a guest. Especially the one who’s a guy but behaves like a girl. His/ her facial expressions somehow make you feel very unwanted there. Food was good but I have eate better. Wintbgi again.

Great French restaurant, with all the classics on a la carte and set menus, from steak frites, Toulouse sausages, moules, delicious veggie tartes, and starters including goats cheese concoctions and whitebait, wines to match, wonderful coffees, and delicious desserts, with the reliability of a chain and the service level of a very special independent local, but very French, restaurant.

good meal, service good too. perfect for pre-theatre meal. thought the set menu was very good value with a wide range of choices (though not much, if anything, for vegetarians)

The food and service was excellent, all four of us thoroughly enjoyed our lunch which I felt was reasonably priced for what we had. The only relatively minor problem was that despite having booked about five weeks in advance we had to wait approximately 20 minutes for our table to be ready at 2:20 pm

We always try to use Cote in Sloane Square when visiting Cadogan Hall or Cote in Marylebone when visiting the Royal Academy of Music, both enyoyable.

Excellent food. Great atmosphere. Would recommend eating there again. Free prosecco with voucher on the back of the ticket from Cadogan Hall. Great and fun combination.

The endive salad was served looking a little tired! Coffee could have been hotter. However on the whole the meal was enjoyable and staff very good

Very busy pre theatre but with the complimentary Kir Royal staff knew who was attending the event and were attentive to make sure your meal was served on time. Food excellent as always.

We had a lovely time. Staff helpful with regards to my allergies. We had the chicken with special sauce and the goat cheese salad with cheese to finish.

Delicious food and lovely helpful staff. There is always a big choice of dishes and this Cote is my first choice when I'm in Chelsea.

Generally a very warm welcome & good pre theatre meal, friendly efficient service. Restaurant was busy, many other diners appeared to be heading to the theatre

Good food and good service if a little bit over the top with 'how are you' and 'perfect'! Ate here many times and will no doubt do so again as never a bad meal.

Lovely food prompt service really enjoyed the experience before a concert in Cadogan Hall and the complimentary cocktail was an unexpected bonus. Would definitely return and recommend.

I ordered a steak, which had clearly been left under a heat lamp for too long. It was only average. The soup, wine and creme brûlée were all very good.

Cote Brasserie is always good for a pre-theatre meal. Very good value and efficient service. Have been to the Sloane Square branch several times and always been very happy with the offer.

Very good friendly service. Food and excellent, especially if you consider the price if you have the pretheatre dinner. We go there often and are never disappointed.

Lovely lunch, fabulous set menu, great that it changes every month with seasonal ingredients, ideal local get together to meet friends for an excellent value meal.

Service and staff was good, and very good offer with a free bottle of wine. Food was also tasty and nothing wrong with it. But maybe a bit boring, maybe if there where a bit more sides and the sides maybe a bit more interesting.

Good service and food. However with the restaurant being full the acoustics need improving to enable one to converse more easily with fellow diners. Tables are very close together giving the area a cramped feeling

As usual, good, efficient, friendly service with good food and wine. No complaints at all on one of my more frequent visits to London from the 'Provinces'. I will chose a Cote if I can !

Fish cakes over cooked and had to be sent back. But no problem replacing them. My steak and frites was tasteless but my companions seemed to enjoy their meals. Not one of my best meals at Cote.

One of my favourite places to eat! Every Côte has delicious food at a reasonable price, but the staff are especially nice at the Sloane Square branch.

The set menu was pretty good (appreciating the fact that it’s great value), but the service was outstanding by all the staff. We will definitely go again.
