Food was good well presented and staff were attentive. We were delayed by train strike but were accommodated with courtesy and ease by the reception staff
Four of us had a lovely meal with good service, but it was spoilt because the restaurant is so noisy we couldn’t have a conversation
The 2-course package meal from the Premium set menu was first class. Excellent starter of muscles in cider with lardons, and superb main course of seafood linguini. Delicious.
There is a good selection on menu. Limited choice for wines by the glass. Attentive service. Convenient location for events at the Cadogan Hall.Wise to book in advance if attending a local event.
Cote Sloane Square is busy and noisy but a great place to meet for a reasonably priced lunch. The food quality is generally very good.
Lovely atmosphere, service was very good and staff friendly. Food was delicious Good location, close to the station and next to Cadogan Hall. Overall great place
Rather chaotic reception but eventually someone took us to our booked table. But once seated the waiters were very pleasant and friendly. The food was delicious and well priced. Good ambiance but marred by the decibels! However I would certainly go again
Good service, buzzy atmosphere, tasty food - altogether a very enjoyable experience. The tuna nicoise salad is just what we wanted last night - and all elements perfect!
A very enjoyable meal in pleasant surroundings. The waiting staff were really very personable and efficient. The meal was not cheap but bearing in mind the very upmarket location of the restaurant it was not unreasonable.
Great food and friendly service. The restaurant was busy but we were served quite promptly. Pity that it was so noisy. Still Cote is great value.
Always a good experience at cote Sloane, but it seems that there is always a lot of noise coming from the kitchen and for the last 3 times I’ve been to this restaurant it happens to be noise from the broken glass and plates from the waiters. Will go back and recommend it xx
Cote continues to offer the best and most affordable food and best service. First time ever, I had a food complaint as too salty; the waiter whisked it away immediately and brought another one, without excess salt. Great place, no wonder it’s always packed!
I CANNOT FAULT this Cote. They TICK every dining box in terms of service, comfort (though a bit noisy), menu and cuisine. It is always a great experience and I highly recommend
We had a lovely meal at Côte Sloane Square before a concert at Cadogan Hall. Staff were very nice and efficient. Overall a pleasant experience in spite of the noise.
Food was very good at Côte Sloane Square and staff were pleasant. Unfortunately it was very noisy and you needed to almost shout to be heard by your companion
Great food and service, despite the busy restaurant (and good value for money!) Looking forward to our return at the earliest opportunity. Thank you Cote
Most enjoyable and a good atmosphere but it was quite noisy. The food was tasty although the leek starter was rather chewy and tough - prefer Wimbledon Cote!
Amazing food with great service. We were off to the theatre after so the quick turnaround was an added bonus! The wine on the offer was lovely too. Thank you
First visit to this particular restaurant , although we have eaten regularly at other Cotes in and around London . It was very busy on a night when many including ourselves were going to a concert at Cadogan Hall nearby . Unfortunately this meant we were only able to book a table online for 5pm when we would have preferred to go there at 6pm . Food came out very quickly and service was good with our waiter very attentive , but overall we felt we were being rushed so that our table could be freed up for next customer . My ribeye steak and fries was excellent but my wife had goats cheese salad which was rather tasteless and served in a bowl which was difficult to eat from. All finished by 6.30 which left us with an hour to spare outside ! Nowhere near as relaxed a dining experience as our usual Côte in Dorking .
Food really good as usual, but noise levels in this branch make it almost impossible to hear what your companions are trying to say! it needs something to absorb the noise - curtains, carpets, some sort of baffles?
good evening as usual, but rather noisy as it was very busy. Food is of a consistent good standard and the service was as expected.
Every time I visit this lovely restaurant, I am delighted with the experience. Consistently good food, reasonably priced and very attentive staff. It is not really a good place to go for a cosy chat as it can be a bit noisy due to its popularity.
I’m afraid that my lunch yesterday was very unsatisfactory. The soup was lukewarm, chicken uneatable , peas swimming in water, and my coffee and lukewarm. All a shame as I was taking my friend out to lunch and it rather spoiled the atmosphere. My friend said her lunch was adequate, but nothing special. I am disappointed as this is the 2nd time I’ve had a very poor lunch. There was a time when eating at Cote was always good and different to other brasseries. You now seem like so many chains to be going down hill. All a shame.
I am a regular customer of the Cote chain of restaurants and have experienced lunching in six in London, one in Sevenoaks and one in Chislehurst. Clearly I would not continue if I did not enjoy the experience. The food is good, and today by guest was a French lady over here on a short visit, who was equally impressed with the quality of the food and value for money. I look forward to a family lunch for ten later in the month at your Camden Town restaurant.
My husband had the full English breakfast which he always enjoys . Eggs cooked absolutely right Good service and excellent value Very friendly staff .
Nice atmosphere for a Sunday lunch. Was busy but a good vibe along with good value for money for the food. Will be going back.
Great set meals with reasonable price but great quality food!
tasted the prestige menu and all the dishes were really tasty! Sea food linguine was fab!
This restaurant is in a brilliant location and has a superb atmosphere. All the staff are polite, friendly and professional and they do everything to make sure you have a lovely meal and a positive experience. The menu choice is excellent and every dish I had tasted fantastic. I love this restaurant and will definitely visit again.
Very good service. Glasses refilled regularly. All food arrived together. 2 soups weren’t very warm but were quickly replaced with hot delicious ones. We come here as a group of 5 or 6 twice or three times a year & always have a good experience.
Consistently good, efficient service with a smile delivering reliable and tasty dishes suitable for all tastes. Can’t recommend highly enough amidst the surfeit of very average chain restaurants on our high streeets.
For the past few years Cote , in many different locations , has been my number one choice when choosing a rstaurant . I have always found staff pleasant and attentive and the food enjoyable . Last night at the Cote in Sloane Square was no exception.
Moules snd Frites - superb!! This is always a great restaurant. Great busy atmosphere and terrific service. Never fails. Can be noisy so request a table near the window!!
We were greeted warmly on arrival. The service overall was excellent as ever and the food didn’t disappoint. I’ve never had such a tasty Mushroom Soup. This is our favourite place to eat before a concert and when we can we’ll be back for a more leisurely evening meal.
Very convenient location, and very pleased that the cheaper lunch is on offer before 3pm. Delicious menu as usual, with great choice of wines. Will be back there again next week.
As ever, amazing service. Fast efficient and genuine. Excellent value and delicious food served by courteous smiling staff. As a regular customer, the recognition is just wonderful. Once seated , you are offered a complimentary drink which is a good start to a brilliant experience
Cote remains the best and most affordable option for a quick pre-concert bite when visiting Cadogan Hall. Swift friendly service and nice food. See you next time!
Lunch time dining at the wekeend- new October menu was great and super tasty. Staff was very helpful and manager acknowledge my previou email issues very well.
Cote is a super successful high turnover brasserie style outfit - so its always balancing taking table bookings vs passing traffic. This means that I am not 100% confident that they really reserve a table aside when I book. It's up to front of house to juggle walk-ins with bookings it feels like. On this occasion, there was a crush and the table wasnt ready... I will refrain from speculating. When this happens and I'm on a schedule ie a play.... front of house did the right thing and apologised and offered some complimentary kir royales - nice touch. The food was good, the set menus are always well priced and good value. They have brought in 2 different set menus - smart move as it is better than just increasing the price of the original set...less friction to "old" clients. Service can be sometimes hit & miss given the fast pace but on this occasion it was great. Felt like the waiter really meant it about "if everything was alright" - he actually asked the right Q " is there anything I can get for you " a really open and inviting Q vs the perfunctory "everything alright ?". Good experience Well done
Great fast service. Perfect for a pre Theatre meal, the menu really does have something for everyone and it really is amazing value for money.
Good quality food, please rot surroundings prompt service, reasonably priced. Would recommend this brasserie although it is quite a struggle to secure a table. Prebooking is definitely a requirement.
Lovely staff and excellent food. Only quibble is the noise level : buzz of conversation is fine but not with muzak in the background too. Really off-putting and I know people who no longer use Cote in Sloane Square because of this problem.
Sorry, food not really up to scratch yesterday. Didn't seem to live up to the standard of other London Cote Brasseries I've been to. Service very good however.
Always find a welcome and good food here. We find it a very pleasant way to start an evening. Cote Sloane Square has never disappointed us.
Food was excellent, with good choices on menu. Service was good and staff pleasant and friendly. Restaurant was over crowded and the tables too near together. It was extremely noisy - maybe some soft drapes on the walls/windows/ or even tablecloths would help to deaden the loud chatter.
Thank goodness we booked. The place was full. We had delicious meals and were looked after attentively, but not rushed. I would certainly recommend for fairly priced excellent dining
Excellent food, quick service, as ever. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
As ever, the food was excellent but I did feel that, as a solitary diner who was sat at a table a little out of main sight lines, I may have dropped off the radar of staff a couple of times. When I asked if there was a problem with my main course (which seemed to have taken some time to arrive, but then sitting alone without conversation does emphasize any pause) I was certainly not ignored after that.
We love this cote, its always busy, the service is fast and efficient the food fresh and the atmostphere is always great to eat in.
Good service and food as always at Cote. I really like the location of the Sloane Square restaurant as just a quick walk from Victoria Station
