My wife and I booked our evening meal well in advance because this Cote can get busy and having been before we did not want to risk disappointment. We went a la carte and very much enjoyed the good food and service. A very good end to a busy day at Masterpiece fair. Keep,up the good work!
Pre-theatre meal. Pre booked and arrived at 5.30 pm. Restaurant was already quite busy and we were offered a table close to the bar and kitchen area. The waiter was good and took our order quickly, we ordered from the Prestige set menu. 1st course was delivered almost too quickly, kind of makes you feel that everything is there just waiting to be ‘nuked’ and that’s how the moules seemed. Also no bread with the moules, bit disappointing. The other starter, duck pate, was pretty nice. For main we both had seafood linguine, again very much had the feel it had been nuked in the kitchen. Pretty bland if I’m honest. As mentioned the restaurant was busy when we arrived and by now was absolutely full and the noise of conversation plus music was a bit much. Also someone appears to have told the bar and kitchen staff to compete to see who could set the high decibel count, they continually crashed plates, cutlery, trays etc around these areas. In summary, a bit too much like a busy works canteen for me and the food about the same quality. For London not a bad price price but certainly not worth any more than the set price for 2 courses
Great service...Great food and very quick as we were a little late for the theatre
3 of us had a 3 course meal with excellent Negronis. 2 had poulet grille which was overcooked and tough, a great disappointment as I had the most delicious chicken last week at St Christopher's Place. Our guest's duck was good as was the rest of the meal, as usual.
Cote, always a great experience. Food good, service very friendly.
Superb service and great food a lovely experience for my friends visiting from abroad
Excellent waiter! He was so fun. We had a lovely lunch!
Friendly staff but zero service, we were ignored for the entire evening and only managed to order food and drinks when we were able to catch a waiter’s attention.
Terribly, terribly noisy. Just too loud for us and won’t be back!
Excellent food and marvellous staff. Very good atmosphere too and in relaxing surroundings.
Lovely calamari, tuna & asparagus. Duck not so good. Staff attentive. Reasonable cost for 2 course meal with wine £90.
Always enjoy our dinners at Côte, exceptional food, great service, pleasing ambiance except for the high sound level, at any rate for someone old, as me!
The food was good but the service was very slow and shoddy.
We had an excellent with a delicious pudding. It was great value for money.
The evening was as good as always. We all enjoyed our choice of meal. Staff pleasant and attentive.
Lovely food, great service. Perfect place to go after a show at Cadogan Hall
Delicious food , excellent service and great location in one of London's beautiful squares.
Had booked with the complimentary negroni. Waiter didn't believe that this was the case & had to check with the lady on the desk (who had already said that we were entitled to complimentary drink). Waiter was rude and had no consideration to the fact that the way he stood meant if talking to our table his belly was right in my friend's face, if talking to table next to us, his behind was right in her face. Ordered, my friend went immediately to the restroom & before she was even back and before our drinks had arrived, the food was on the table. There was no way any of it had been cooked fresh. Drinks eventually arrived. We were then ignored, throughout the restaurant there seemed to be chaos. Got the bill and were charged for the Negroni. Was sorted but shouldn't have happened. If this had been my first visit to a Cote, I would not return to any of them, As it is, I won't ever be returning to Sloane Square.
We sat and chatted for three hours over our meal and long after we had finished. Two of my friends are a bit deaf, but the restaurant was full and busy and they had no problem hearing. Food served promptly and hot. Our house wine was delicious as was our food, confirming our opinion that Cote is excellent value for money. The staff were attentive and delightful, even though they were very busy. We had a very happy Sunday lunch. I highly recommend eating at Cote Brasserie in Sloan Square.
The restaurant was jolly and lively and very busy. Lots of locals there which was very nice to see. They were greeted with warmth by the lovely staff, which was touching, but so were we. You always know that the food at Cote will be good,:hot and tasty and of good quality and skilfully cooked. We had a super afternoon at Sloan Square.
Pre theatre meal for 6 people, excellent service throughout, booked via telephone to explained dietary requirements. Table ready and service was friendly, helpful and very quick, food arrived hot, well presented and was enjoyed by all members of the party. Party of 6 from Co. Durham
Very good overall experience thank you. We needed an easy venue to eat after singing in a concert round the corner and Cote met our requirements perfectly.
I requested online a table away from service areas and toilets. On arrival we were seated right next to the pass and the waiters serving area even though there were plenty of tables available all the way through our meal. We asked for Jack Daniels and coke and only received the coke and asked for minted peas and carrots to accompany our meal and these never arrived. The waiter appeared to struggle with what we were saying although we only come from Newcastle. Bit of a disaster!
Great for a leisurely breakfast, good coffee and food and were left to sit and chat
Love food and great service. Waiter was very good. Noise levels are quite high! Hard to have a conversation at times.
Excellent meal with great service. Will definitely visit again soon.
One is always made welcome and the food and ambiance is always good.
Wonderful warm greeting from Laura, good service from and Daniele and lovely to see Fatima again who is always happy to see us. We really enjoyed our evening with delicious food, wine and ambience. Thank you Laura for repeatedly coming to check that everything was to our satisfaction.
Excellent food and service as usual. It’s always a pleasure to eat at Sloane Square branch - service is welcoming and efficient. Food is interesting and well presented and a complimentary cocktail was an added bonus.
Not always easy to book but still very enjoyable. Food and service consistently good.
Haven’t been to Cote in Sloane Square for ages, so we decided to go yesterday evening. The usual mix of friendly service and tasty well executed food. I love the charcuterie starter and my lady adores the crab! My duck breast main with dauphinois potatoes was delicious. By the restaurant standards the goujons of haddock and chips were slightly over cooked and not something we would order again, as there are so many other dishes that are better. A good meal and we will not wait so long to return!
Lovely food and great service. Thank you, very much appreciated!
This was a disappointing visit. The restaurant was full early on a Friday evening. I had booked well in advance and asked for a window table - instead we were given a table at the back which was next to the kitchen exit. The waiter agreed it was only for two people, when there were three of us. The food was fine but very rushed
Same as ever one gets what one expects. Not very exciting but good
Great location greay food. Highly reccomended for breakfast and lumch
Pleasant service but slow. Food usual high standard. Coffee not hot.
Excellent service and great food , nothing too much troublec
Very pleasant and an excellent vibrant atmosphere with good food.
The tomatoes in the starter were old(furry) and tasteless. Everything else was great.
Everything is good except for the noise level which is particularly difficult for people with hearing aids,
Food quality very poor! Had to send first salmon dish back as it was dry. Second attempt was only just acceptable. Not the standard I'm used to at other Côtes!
The food was good and we had excellent service especially as there were eight of us. Thank you
Had a big group booking for the office Xmas lunch. Everyone was really happy which is hard to do for a big group. Food is really good, very busy so having a booking meant we didn’t have to wait.
The staff customer service has deviated quite a bit as it becomes busy there’s no more ‘care’ as they just want people in and out of the restaurant which is quite a shame. I suggest maybe the company can hire an effective communication trainer for staff to improve customer positive experience.
Very noisy - but good food. Well priced. Worth a visit.
this place is perfect for meeting with friends and having a quality meal. Very good service!
Staff friendly and helpful. Good buzz. Food ok but nothing special - sea bass well cooked but totally bland. Salmon dish enjoyable. Very generous portions throughout and very reasonable prices.
Very nice meal but thought service was still not as good as before! I had to get up and go and ask for the bill. I have had excellent service there from some of the more experienced staff but they were not on duty this time. I think additional training is required!
Great value and very reasonable for a restaurant in Central London.
Great service as always. The staff and prices make Cote.
