We really enjoyed the November pre theatre menu though I had to ask for the set menu and the prestige menu. At this restaurant the waiters only give you the a la carte menu which is annoying. Being a very regular Cote guest, I know that there are set menus as well. That said, we enjoyed the meal and this being a very busy restaurant especially on a Saturday lunchtime the waiting staff are superb in what they do. The food is always piping hot and very tasty.

Very good on all important measures: the welcome and service from the waiting staff; the options available on the menu; the quality and taste of the meal; the general atmosphere of the brasserie; and lastly, all at a competitive price. It is no surprise that the brasserie was busy and I highly recommend Côte Sloane Square and Côte in general.

Happy with the experience except for the fact we had to wait for a table although we had a reservation..somehow this particular cote is always much busier.. but waiting time was not excessive.

Very friendly, engaging staff. I went for the rib eye, which was a bit too fatty for my liking. The Roquefort sauce that accompanied the steak was delicious, the fries delicious and crispy. My husband had the risotto, and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a table at the entrance, which had great views of Sloane Square, and was quieter than the main restaurant area. We love Cote, terribly good value for money, and incredibly friendly staff.

The food was very good, the service very good and attentive and prompt. It was very very noisy. Perhaps thought could be given to more soft furnishings and sound absorbing panels.

Cote, was reliably good as always. However, two of us had the mushroom brioche as a starter and this was very ordinary. The creme caramel on the other hand was splendid! As was the pork tenderloin. Good house red. Thank you. Service was good although the waitress persisted in pouring wine for one of the party, who was in fact drinking beer.

I had lunch today with friends and my mushroom starter was delicious, but my butternut squash main was under cooked-I would have sent it back but did not want to create a fuss with friends. My friend's ravioli was apparently excellent.

Another very good meal at Cote Sloane Square but the evening was less enjoyable as noise levels very high and a nearby tearful baby made it hard to hear my companion. Staff and food excellent .

I'm normally a big fan of Cote having never had anything but a great experience at my local in Chichester West Sussex. Sadly tonight at your establishment will be my first unhappy experience The staff were very efficient and no complaints there but the food was poor The starter was OK but the main course of beef from the £15.50 menu was full of gristle and the pastry so flakey I couldn't pick it up with my knife and fork. The portion sizes too were disgracefully small. On arrival I was not offered the £15.50 menu and had to ask for it. No doubt a deceitful attempt to get me to use the premium set menu I'm writing this at my table but I'm not going to speak to the staff because it's too noisy in here and I have Hearing losd Very disappointed and my team at work will now not book our Xmas meal at Chichester Mike Bennett ⁣

I have to say, I am getting very tired if the London cotes. London Bridge is just awful. Wimbledon has no customer service skills and Sloane Square is up themselves. Yesterday having booked three weeks in advance asking for a nice booth type table we got seated at the door. When I queried this with the person at the counter he said this is all they had take it or leave it attitude. When I noticed a nice starter from an adjoining diner, I asked what it was as I could not see it on the menu. I was told I could not see the other menu because I had booked the October offer. We then had to explain we were going to order off the a la carte and the waitress still refused to bring the other menu and said she needed to speak to her manager. The manager came over, the same man before with the attitude and said ok we can see the menu. In the end my sister did order a starter off a different menu. Excuse me but as the patron, even if we preferred the other menu we would have just paid for the martini that would have been our choice. Our mains were ok. My linguine was a little dry. The dessert and wines were superb. When the bill came the martinis where added right at the bottom so we could have missed them. I then questioned the bill and was told again the manager had to sort it out. I won’t be going back to any cotes in London. We normally go to the one in Brighton and the service is supreme. They could teach the others a thing or two. Only Brighton know how to conduct themselves and we always leave a massive tip in there. I refuse to tip Sloane Square, Wimbledon or London Bridge.

My starter salmon rillettes was delicious and served beautifully in a little jar. The grilled half chicken was dry and tasteless. I have had chicken at Cote many times and this was not up to your usual standard. The coffee was strong and delicious!

The service was very good and quick which was useful because we were going on to a concert. My risotto which was the only vegetarian option on the pre theatre easy menu was hot in flavour as though a lot of pepper or chilli had been used in it which I found unusual and not what I expected from a risotto. We did mention that there was no parmesan in the risotto as the menu had stated and a waiter very quickly got me some which really helped to temper the overbearing hot flavour which was spoiling the dish for me.

I had the same menu last week in Fulham Road. The fish croquettes were much nicer there - lighter and with pieces of fish! At Sloane Square they were over cooked and tasted only of potato. The rest was fine.

I always enjoy meeting my friends at Cote in Sloane Square. The choice of food is good and not too expensive. I always like to have a table in the window and the person (I think her name is Monica) is pleasant, welcoming and efficient.
