Côte Sloane Square

Food was OK, but service was decidedly mixed. Missing items from our order were met more by "I did my bit, not my fault", than by "so sorry, let me sort this right away for you".

This is our third visit to the Sloane Square restaurant as a Christmas shopping treat. We are never disappointed.

Wonderful Breton Chicken, Goats Cheese Salad and scrummy Chocolate Fondant accompanied by sparkling Cremant. Waiters charming and helpful as always. A very pleasurable lunch.

Invigorating. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. It was so busy with a great atmosphere but the waiters were brilliant. We’d definitely go again

We had breakfast at Cote prior to our visit to the Tutankharmun exhibition in the Saatchi gallery. The staff were attentive and food very tasty and nicely presented. I would have given a higher rating but at the time of our visit the outer door was being repaired which meant it was very draughty when the inner door was opened and very noisy with banging and drilling going on which was not ideal as had requested a quiet table so I could have a good catch up with my friend.

Popular restaurant so glad we pre-booked. The in-line service is excellent. Prompt warm welcome and efficient service. The food was good too.

Very polite and helpful staff, lovely atmosphere, good food. We often go to the Cote in Richmond and the Slone Square branch was just as good.

Very busy restaurant but good, friendly service. The food was the normal Cote high quality and cost very good value.

The food was excellent as always - this is such a busy Cote that it takes a while to be served but the staff are simply rushed off their feet They're excellent and do the best they can considering the size of the restaurant and how busy it is.

Very good lunch. Excellent rib eye and chocolate mousse. Friendly service. House wine too warm though.

One of the best Cote experiences today: seasonal menu is great. We had perfect lamb rump and a cassoulet. Service was excellent. We would return happily.

Very enjoyable meal. We both had the Steal Tartare, then the Pork Belly and the Breton Stew. We had booked so Waiting Time not really relevant, but if anything we were seated a few minutes early.

Very good food and service during a very busy Saturday afternoon

My calamari was well overcooked being very dark brown and cut the roof of my gum it was so dry and crisp and sharp. Even 6 hours later the old oil was repeating on me and I could taste it in my mouth. It was very busy and although booked not so easy to get seated. My seabass was lovely. the waiters were very good although stretched.

Service very good. Food mediocre. Onion soup tepid although asked for it hot and vertially to cheese. Breton chicken tasteless with hardly any garnish. It's a shame.

Excellent. Great service and value. Really enjoyed the lunch. Will go again.

Great food, nice environment. Only downside, would prefer more fish in the pie.

Lovely food great service, although the waiter spilt a glass of wine over me :-) no fuss, he must have felt really bad poor guy but he gave us a bottle of fizz on the house :-) would definitely go back and recommend to our friends...

Very busy on a Friday night but the staff worked very hard to find a table for 3 when I had originally booked for 2. Nice set menu and a fair price for the food and wine. Nice seasonal touches, like autumn ravioli, though most dishes still take more than a nod to French cuisine. Food is good rather outstanding and gets a solid 4* out of 5. But the food is fresh, and prepared by chefs in the kitchen (which you can see). A big chain with lots of outlets but the Sloane Square one, understandably is the stand out. Difficult to fault. £70 incl. service for 2 adults and a child, with dessert and wine. The pre-7pm set menu is a must.

Very friendly helpful and efficient staff serving reliably good quality food

We were disappointed with the venison parmentier because it had very little venison (my friend whose birthday we were celebrating said there was only one piece) and far too much potato mash. We mentioned this to Graham, our waiter who we liked immensely but received no feedback from the chef. Also my Sidecar cocktail had no alcohol, and far too much lemon juice. I could hardly taste the cointreau. So overall not a great dining experience which was a great shame because we were celebrating a birthday !

Great food and swift service. No better place to go for a pre theatre meal.

As I chef,trained in France myself,I am often disappointed with French cuisine in England but today changed my opinion. The service was wonderful and the food greatly surpassed my expectations.the chicory salad with Roquefort and walnuts was so refreshing and clean and the cassoulet was without doubt the best I have eaten in this country.the Normandy cider was a real trip down memory lane. Very,very well done to all the team today,my father and I had an exceptional meal with you.we will be back.

The staff at this Cote are exceptional. Our waiter was charming, but star billing must go to the young woman who greets you upon arrival. Big smile, great welcome, very efficient. Genuinely pleased you are in her restaurant. Great stuff a true professional.

Enjoyed our visit as always. Shown to our reserved table immediately. Quick and pleasant service. The menu has an extensive And varied choice, food arrived tasty and hot. Highly recommended.

Only comment! It was a bit of a struggle to attract the attention of a waiter/waitress. It was busy but there was not quite the usual attention of care! Otherwise all great as always, thank you. PS thank you again for the complimentary apperitivo.

Faultless plates of delicious comfort food, efficient and friendly (but not overbearingly so) waiting staff, and a buzzy atmosphere - a perfect pre-concert dining experience.

Very good. My only issue is we can do ask for the set menu we were not offered it.
