Totally suited our needs I.e. inexpensive pre- theatre dinner. Food was delicious, well presented and just the right amount. Staff were very welcoming and quietly attentive. Would definitely book again and recommend. Thank you for a very pleasant pre theatre experience.
The food is always excellent at Cote, I really cannot fault it. My only reason for giving 5* and not 6* is because it's very noisy! I guess this is because it's highly successful and therefore always crowded, but it would never put me off as the food & service is so good.
First experience of Cote (Sloan Square) . In no particular order. Requested 2 bottles of beer but told they did not have any so ordered wine. 5 minutes later, the table next to us had bottles of beer served. Requested that my daughters chicken fillet was severed without sauce. It was served with sauce and no fries. Our bread was not served until we prompted further. My wife's haddock parmentier had numerous bones. Whilst this does not balance the negatives, I have to say that the ambience was was very good.
Perfect venue. Table was ready, even though exceptionally busy.Service friendly and prompt. Food good as always
Good service, good food, nice atmosphere. My only gripe was that when we were offered the menus we weren’t told about the pre theatre menu. It’s only because I saw it on your website I asked the waiter and he got it for us. Had I not been on your website I wouldn’t have known any better. I don’t think that is treating customers fairly. If you were a financial institution you would have been reprimanded by the regulator.
Great standard of food drink and service. Always consistently good.
We had the pre theatre menu which was very good. Service excellent very pleasant fast and efficient. Atmosphere great. I had booked the last group of 6 tables and they were all moved together ready on time for 6pm. Have been quite a few time now and always recommend Cote Sloane Street to friends. Thank you all the team at this very busy team much appreciated.
There were too many menus which (seemed to) confuse the staff. There's the Al La Carte, which apparently serves more as a place mat, the Christmas Menu (most expensive) which was first presented, a Prestige Menu & another with Prestige Menu & Pre-Theatre on the back, which you had to ask & wait for even though the booking was for 17:15 which was likely to be pre-theatre/concert.
Food was shockingly not good terrible evening dont go
Very good pre-concert meal. Tasty food and great service. Thanks
The restaurant very busy, but we were served quickly and our waiter took care to make the experience enjoyable.
First time in Côte for breakfast , the staff handled our group 12 persons very efficiently, the food was very good
Super! Perfect Christmas get together venue. Delicious food and attentive service
Speedy service and well looked after by staff. Booked at what I thought would be a quiet time (2.30pm). Place was heaving and very noisy. Staff found us a relatively subdued space, but perhaps don't go here if you want a relaxed conversation! Five stars for noise level means VERY!!!
We had the Tournedos Rossini which did not disappoint. The 'toast'/crouton was a little too crisp and the pate could have been warmer (it was cold) but the sauce was superb and we left empty plates. This was accompanied with excellent Frites and a green salad with a superb dressing, washed down with a glass of Cote du Rhone. We had no starter or desert or coffee and left completely satisfied. It was a very special meal and the service was swift. We were in and out in just over an hour. Our waiter was very good - sympatico. Well done.
Excellent food at reasonable prices as usual. Great and friendly service.
A consistently good chain, and the Sloane Square branch is the best one I've visited.
After changing table from noisy corner, we had a lovely meal, looked after splendidly by a helpful young wItress
This is a top-class brasserie in a great location. It perhaps gets a little busy and the noise levels are pretty high, but it all adds to the experience
Service was a bit erratic, a contrast with the Reading Oracle branch a couple of days before, where is was excellent
Although the food was nice the staff were very rushed and thus going through the motions type attitude was very obvious.
Nice location, good food and acceptable prices. Steak was really good and finally the staff were nice.
Perfect venue for a girlie Christmas catch up! Congenial staff. Lively atmosphere. Christmas menu with three courses at most reasonable price. Good food. Fish pie delicious!
A very enjoyable evening with highly efficient staff. Great atmosphere and great food.
Excellent experience as usual. Only slight disappointment was the chicken main dish .. a little bland and not the usual tasty and creative flavour .
Lovely food Great atmosphere Wonderful service Highly recommended for lunch in Sloan Square without breaking the bank!
I really appreciate staff who I know for long time, serving and hospitality is amazing good there.
Always a special occasion at Côte. Excellent Food, service and value. Thank you all.
A very enjoyable Sunday lunch, with excellent food and service.
Good food and service very very busy so great atmosphere
We love Cote and come often, Might have been a mistake on a Sunday, it was bedlam. But we had a nice table, the staff as usual were terrific and food came promptly. My wife and I both had steak frites, hers was delicious, mine tasted as though it was butchered twice; once at its death and the second when it was cooked. I didn't finish as my jaw eventually got too tired to chew any more. Still, the bride was happy (shes's happy:we're happy) and we will be back soon, with the 2 daughters. Thank you
The food was excellent and the atmosphere was buzzing but not too loud
Wonderful food, very good service, buzzing atmosphere, able to accommodate us even though we were early and it was very busy.
Amazing food, great atmosphere and good service. We are returning guests with my friends and we are all very happy with the place. Highly recommended.
An excellent meal. Good service from the staff who were on duty in spite of a very busy restaurant.
Very cold draught coming through the door - using no door heater - staff struggling to cope with through flow of people - we think one couple who had booked a table were turned away. The place was very full and busy but even when the place is at capacity staff should be able to cope. Food good as always - staff very friendly and polite as always - even though they were under pressure - were they accepting too many people at the door who had not booked? Not sure.
Better than the same time last year. Service from one of the male waiter's a little,slap-dash. Very noisy, oue table close to kitchen not terribly pleasant, our chairs were frequently bumped. No complaints about the food, apart from the over salty Haddock Parmentier.
great location, friendly staff, good attentive service. Should have offered special menus without being asked. Langoustine starter poorly presented on plate, tasty enough. Minute steaks enjoyed all round as were desserts.
Obviously a peak time in this restaurant with pre theatre goers, but this meant that the tables were crammed together and we were constantly being knocked by customers passing through the restaurant. Noise levels were so high, that this, combined with bring knocked, made the overall experience very stressful. Ordered a goats cheese salad that arrived without the goats cheese. Staff did their best.
Outstanding! We went for a birthday lunch and being a Friday it was a very busy service for the team. Even though they were busy they were wonderfully helpful and attentive. The food was, as always with Cote, simply superb - we really could not fault anything. The service team singing Happy Birthday to my partner during the middle of the busy service shows that this team have got hospitality enshrined within them all.
Good food and good service. Everything you need for an enjoyable meal out.
Had a lovely time as usual in Cote. Won’t say much this time as I wrote a glowing review of Blackheath Cote about a month ago including names of outstanding people there. You didn’t respond, I just hope the employees saw it. Disappointing.
We were ignored at the door despite there being 3 members of staff there laughing and joking together for about 2 minutes. Small, cramped table, no one asked to take our orders. Crumbs and food all over the leather bench seat- we had to ask for it to be cleaned. The worst Cote experience I have ever had. So sad as this was a really special family lunch.
Food and drinks excellent. However, the restaurant extremely noisy which meant we had to shout ourselves!
Great service and a good quality standard of food. My starter was a little different than I imagined and not 100% to my taste but still very nice. The staff were attentive and food was served in very good time. I would certainly recommend!
Both mains were very poor: tough/too salty We left most
A great place to have lunch, as always, where the staff are super-efficient and friendly.
We had a lovely meal. The langoustine tails were however a bit disappointing in presentation and taste.
Lovely as always whichever Cote we are in. On Tuesday next week it’s Richmond 👍👍
Good welcome and when there was a slight hitch with table location it was solved graciously. Good food, friendly and efficient service and pleasant atmosphere
