Love the food and the service is good and fast. This one is a bit too large but nice to see many peple enjoying company and food together
I would firstly like to comment on what delightful staff who were helpful and smiled despite being busy. The food was very enjoyable and reasonably priced. Very nice bottle of wine. The whole set up is very well run. We have occasionally been to other Cotes before and we will certainly return
We ate at Cote Sloane Square before a visit to the Theatre. Everything was great. Booking was really easy. The ambience in the restaurant was lively. The staff were friendly and efficient. We ate from the early evening menu - 3 courses for £13.95 - which was excellent value and delicious and the wine was good and reasonably priced. Recommended.
Took a good friend for a nice evening meal. Was quite busy. Food was above average for price. Ambience and service was good. Would go back again.
Service, food and value for money were all excellent but the restaurant itself was blinkin freezing. We had been seated close to the door and it felt like we were in a bit of a corridor which was a shame but again the food and service were excellent.
Regular Saturday local late lunch haunt - superb set menu - best value in London - great menu choices and updated seasonally, so always different options. Good sized portions, good service, buzzy atmosphere - looking forward to my next visit already!
Very nice meal and atmosphere. Very reasonable prices and nice wines. I will certainly be going back to try the rest of the menu .
The table was ready when we arrived. The service for drinks and the food was swift and informative. The food was very good and again the service was good.
Service not as good as it used to be. Reception at front by the fat short man with glasses (manager?) on Fri 31st Mar and 4th Apr at lunchtime was rude. On Fri it took 45 mins to take our order. Again the manager was unhelpful. He is diminishing the brand.
Great experience, we went for pre theatre meal but chose off the main menu. Good atmosphere, attentative friendly waiter, decent food but check your bill as charged us for the "free drinks" courtesy of Cadogan Hall. Refunded with apology so no drama. Would go there again. Good vibe.
We were abit squashed in however this was mostly due to the table beside us for 2 and 4 sat at it. But I would next time request a quieter table at front. Food good as always.
Booking was easy and efficient, Internet would only allow booking for 8, but a quick phone call got us a table for 9. Staff very friendly, Menu varied and food good.
Great staff, very attentive without being invasive as some are in some other restaurants. The food is delicious and you sometimes see film stars eating at a table nearby!
Speedy service, both on arrival at the restauant, and at the table, which was ideal for a meal pre-theatre and food was good . I enjoyed the buzzy atmosphere.
Spacious & pleasant place in convenient location. Generally good food specially salad starters but croque monsieur was hefty & rather tasteless. I will go again
The restaurant was extremely busy as usual but despite that the service was good and the staff charming. Food quality is consistently good. Not the place for a quiet lunch though!
Reliable as always with good natured service. Cote de Bouef a little bit tough. 2015 Fleurie was good value and most acceptable. Sweets are always good at Cote.
The main courses we ordered were not available, though we were only told this ten minutes after the order had been taken. The restaurant seemed a bit chaotic with unsually slow service. But the food, when it came, was excellent and the staff very good. Especially our Mallorcan waitress who was lovely ! Good value.
As always - excellent food served by very helpful and attentive staff = very efficient service .You should never take the veal or scallops off the menu - the lamb cutlets were just amazing - The waitress Monica and her female colleague are just wonderful
Very disappointing goats cheese salad, too much lettuce and too little roasted vegetables and goats cheese. Also the presentation in a glass bowl did not work.
Nice lunch and at reasonable price. Lovely happy waiter served us. As I was meeting friends I hadn't seen for 2 years I wanted a quietish area to catch up. Was initially seated near a noisy family with sreaming children looked on by doting parents so I politely asked to be moved to a quieter table - was moved without any problem and fuss. Would go back there again.
Good food as always but despite the waitress doing her best the service was slow (even with a 5.45pm booking). We needed a quick meal (which we normally have when we come to Cote) but this time it took nearly 90 minutes rather than the usual 60, so we were almost late for a concert we were going to. The place was packed but if it is always that full then you need more staff. Please don't make us abandon you
Very convenient location in Sloane Square, extremely buzzy and the staff very attentive. The breakfast menu is second to none and recommended for keeping you going all day.
For such a busy restaurant you cannot fail to be impressed with Cotes Sloane Square. The food was excellent as was the service. Nothing was to much bother for the staff. Thank you
I did get the table that I requested. Always a good start. The service was fast and nice. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was a bit loud as it was school holidays but still very pleasant.
First time there and surpassed our expectations completely with lovely customer service and friendly staff who made us feel very much at home. The food was delicious with a very appetising menu to choose from and at such great value. Will return without any hesitation but remember to make a reservation because it was very busy and we noticed there had been some disapointed customers who tried to get a table on walking in, and despite the staff doing there best, it couldn't be helped and left people frustrated without a table to sit down too. Aside from that a very well run and lovely brasserie. Thank you again for giving my wife and I a day to remember.
Very disappointed that the waiter spoke little English and although I asked repeatedly for a lager I ended up with a white wine. Couldn't be bothered to persevere trying to get the right drink. Rather spoilt the whole experience.
Really good experience - aspargras with hollandaise followed by whole grilled plaice and then a crepe with strawberries and cream. Bottle of Samur to drink and a very reasonable bill. Good service and ambience.
We arrived earlier than the booked time however this was not an issue and we were seated immediately. The atmosphere was very good and the service was attentive. Both my husband and I were enjoyed the food and overall we were very impressed with Cote Brasserie
The service and location remains excellent but the quality of food has taken a massive dIve. The food was really disappointing at another Cote branch a couple of weeks ago and the family are not keen to return immediately. Huge shame.
Th food is lovely, service great and good value. I did request a quiet table by the window as our guest was a 93 year old who has difficulty with hearing. Despite booking nearly 10 days before the lunch on arrival was not given an appropriate table. It made the whole experience far less pleasant because the difficulties with background noise.
Good service. Flexible - we were two instead of three. Good food. Reasonably priced. Interesting menu. No problem being gluten free. A variety of choice.
Very good service, buzzy atmosphere, lovely food! Only downside was that the way it is constructed, we were round the back with no natural daylight.
Delicious food, lots of options - very reasonably priced. The Service was reasonable considering it was Mothering Sunday. A very enjoyable lunch with my adult daughter.
Delicious lunch in a great atmosphere. Good service. A very popular restaurant in a great setting. Will definitely recommend to friends and return soon myself.
Always delicious food at very reasonable prices, in great locations throughout London. Good menu choices with something to please everyone, with friendly servic. The pre theatre slot is always busy so book early.
Table reservation good Celebrating my daughter's birthday Spilt nearly a whole bottle of champagne over me and the floor Offered me the dryer in the downstairs toilet!! First course fine / good Waited well over an hour for the main course. Rare steak ordered; twice sent back as over cooked. Gave me a discount. Company made up for a poor evening of service
Excellent value pre-theatre set menu. Fast service and pleasantly buzzing atmosphere. The steak frites are particularly worthy of note and came perfectly medium rare. Recommended.
Côte delivered, as ever. Always reliable. Service a little slow, but it was Saturday and full of people. As General Douglas McArthur said: "I will return." ( "Better Leyte than never" for those in the know.)
Usually love Côte but didn't think this branch was up its usual standard. The terrine had no butter or pickle with it so was rather dry and my minute steak was tough but they were kind enough to put it in a doggy-bag for me. Our dining companion enjoyed his linguine though.
The service was excellent and the staff very friendly. Two of us had steak and it was cooked just as we asked for it. Good value for money
Very busy even early evening, and a much bigger place than it looks from outside so the service wasn't brilliant but it was ok and the menu, though predictable, is well done.
There is an extensive choice on the menu. There is a vibrant atmosphere. The staff are friendly. It was not expensive and we will certainly return.
Nice people Very nice food Quite crowded and noisy Disappointed with the complimentary wine choice - could not exchange it for a wine of our choice and then I thought the wine was of a low quality
Booked quite late in the morning, but all worked, which was great as the queue/waiting time was quite long. However, service was a little slow
All in all a very good experience - the food was good (would recommend the duck confit) and the service pleasant. Excellent value for money.
Pleasant waiting staff, reasonable value for this expensive area. The fillet steak was all right but I've had better. Drinks are not too expensive. Free filtered water!
slight confusion over booking. Decor very typical of Cote. The service was good as usual for this chain. The food is consistently of a good quality at cote and this branch was no different.
We visited Cote before a concert nearby and the restaurant was very busy. We waited a few minutes for a waiter to greet us, another member of staff was at the door but didn't make eye contact with us and seemed preoccupied. When the waiter returned he apologised for the wait, took my name and showed us to our table. Our designated waiter greeted us warmly and all went smoothly from then. Food, wine and service good as always.
The atmosphere at Sunday brunchtime in Cote Sloane Square was relaxed and welcoming. The service was friendly, efficient and quick but we were never rushed. Which was just as well as the really good cappunicos were worth lingering over.
