Very good food, but disapointing service, a bit slow for everything, but good quality of food. I have been to different côte restaurants, and the food was always excelent. However very surprised that they charge you for bread... £7.20 for few slices of bread, not even mentioned on the menu, or we missed it but still...
Attentive, charming service, excellent food and fair pricing. First time I had visited with these particular friends who were very impressed and plan to return. Also, grateful to be given Table 40 which I requested.
We very much enjoyed our visit to Cote Sloanne Square. Excellent meal, excellent service. The Manager ,Aran, very friendly warm hospitality making us welcome, Highly recommend. We will return.
Excellent - the goat, cheese salad - the Veg were not roasted enough and would be better served on a plate rather than in bowl
Lovely restaurant located right by Cadogan Hall. Very accommodating staff who were not put out at us arriving half an hour early, due to show finishing earlier than expected. Always good food at reasonable prices, especially in London. Would recommend the fishcakes!
Excellent food and wine delicious dessert creme caramel very reasonable food but great location. Always book here when meeting friends. Would rate this above other restaurants in the area.
Excellent service. Delicious lunch menu. Good bottle of French white wine and a complimentary glass of champagne. Very 'bistro-y' feel. I thoroughly enjoyed and will return soon!
My friends spoke loudly in praise of the good and friendly service that brought to our table the most acceptable offerings from the menu. Wine advice also proved helpful.
Great food, great staff and great atmosphere. I especially enjoyed the starters and the coffee, along with how friendly the staff were to my table of guests.
Pleasant but not exceptional. The food was very average - main course obviously reheated and not very appetising as a result. It was very crowded, but the service was fine and it is good value
As always, prompt efficient service, delivered in a pleasant manner. The menu provided was varied, catering for most tastes. The food was delicious ,staff courteous, atmosphere convivial and relaxed.Hopefully we will return again very soon.
it was all excellent and good value - the service was fine and we were happy with the choices on the menu and with overall ambiance
5 of us enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere was lively. we will certainly go again, soon I hope> good value for money and very pleasant.
We had a very nice lunch -- 4 adults and two small children. The service was excellent and everyone liked the food. It's too noisy for my taste, but many reataurants seem to be like that.
I just love the Cote Restaurants chain but not every branch. We found Cote Brasserie Sloane Square extremely noisy. We had the Salt Cod Croquettes and they didn't look that nice on the plate the red pepper aioli sauce just doesn't go with the dish and the croquettes were very bland. My couscous dish on the other hand was very nice. Service was attentive and professional.
Good service, as always, but my friends' pasta dish was cold in places and prawns not cooked properly. He pointed it out to the server, very politely. It was handled very well, as the duty manager came over and apologised immediately. And he did n't charge us. These things happen, but was dealt with very well.
Thank you for a great evening! We had a lovely time and the food was excellent with a table outside which was a boon. See you again I hope!
We had an enjoyable family meal on Sunday evening at Cote Sloane Square. The service was generally good and the staff were pleasant. The food was enjoyable and we'll return again soon!
Excellent food. Swift friendly pre-theatre meal. Plenty of vegetarian choices. Noise level high but that is the price that one has to pay for a buzzy, full room
Ambience - 5/5 it delivers that continental buzzy brasserie atmosphere. Service - 4/5 Prompt & efficient. Could be a touch more human/friendly but this is a personal preference/judgement. I dont like service to be all-over me either. Food 4/5 Had the pre theatre menu. I wasnt offered it initially but not sure if this was an oversight or deliberate. The value is good especially if you have a 3rd courses - 2 course is £12.50 and 3 courses is £13.95 - plus a discretionary 12.5% service add on. It is served from noon to 7pm. Definitely a good choice in this rather expensive part of town.
Excellent as always, Côte. Fast friendly service and delicious food. Great place for pre theatre dinner. Set menu full of choice and a comprehensive wine list.
Terrific in every way. Great service, great food and great prices. It was a most enjoyable meal. We'll be back next week for the same again.
Food and service was great. Usual Cote experience. After visiting another restaurant company the night before it was refreshing to go back to Cote. We will be back again soon
Superb service, value for money and food. In particular helped with a guest who had poor mobility making it seem effortless. Definitely recommend. Thank you.
Standards have gone down... poor food quality my husband and I went there for our anniversary and walked out extremely dissappointed. Salad looked like it was airplane food, main course was o-k and dessert (chocolate pot) was dark chocolate with cream carelessly poured on top...
Ideal for a post concert meal with friends and I have used this venue several times before. Although crowded still possible to have good conversation the main course came almost too quickly countering some previous experiences of rather slow service. Food was generally excellent though I found my tasty duck breast rather "chewey".
Excellent and friendly service at very busy time of day. Pre theatre menu very good value and wide choice of dishes but fish slightly dry and overcooked.
Another excellent experience at Cote. Food, drink, service and ambience all up to the usual very high standard. An offer of ice when we found our water not very cold reflected the thoughtfulness that we have noticed on other occasions. As ever, the value was outstanding for the quality and quantity of food and drink.
Food, service and value for money good but lacked decore and thus atmosphere in L shaped room ,such a pity would not go back as there are better venues elsewhere.
Lovely location. Enjoyed my lagoustine starter and minute steak. My sister didn't enjoy her fish main. Very peasant staff. Good wine. Often come here and it's very good value if you have the pre/post theatre set menu
Love Cote...always consistent with excellent food, great service & fabulous value. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed. Like me you will become a loyal customer.
The food and the wine were good. The atmosphere and the staff were brilliant. I always feel relaxed and looked after. a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
The food and service were good but the restaurant is very noisy so difficult to hear each other. This impacted on our overall enjoyment of the evening.
Easy to book, friendly staff and excellent food. Very convenient for concerts at the Cadogan Hall. Booking recommended as very busy at lunchtime on the Friday we went.
Nice food, excellent service. Waiters were really helpful, especially as one of us had luggage. Fish stew was delicious, all the other meals nice as well.
Excellent ambience and service in an ideal location after Cadogan Hall concert. Good food and an excellent well priced wine list. We enjoyed our evening.
Good food and good value for money. Helpful and attentive staff. There was a man, well-lunched as they say, at the table next to us, who kept falling asleep over his food, The manager dealt with this difficult situation impeccably.
Great food. Friendly and efficient staff. But so cold. All we could think about was finishing our meal and leaving to get warm. Waiting for a taxi outside to take us back to our hotel was warmer. Temperature adjustments required and this restaurant will be a 6.
Service was impeccable, price was right, host accommodated my request to change table after being sat, and food was good enough. Enjoyed a few drinks, a nice starter, dessert, etc. Would go again!
5 people dined-- 3 had steaks-- Fillet steak good-- Both Entrecote steaks tough and gristly-- chicken dish no better than McDonalds chicken nuggets-- Duck Confit "special" very tasty--all accompanying vegetables good---All desserts OK but nothing special and pricey for what was presented. Coffee really horrible and undrinkable-- Looks like coffee and hot but tastes like paint stripper.
Unbelievably noisy. Difficult to have a conversation or to hear others at the table. Very slow checking people to their tables. Long and unnecessary queue. Food average. Waitress excellent.
While the meal was very good, the reward we'd been offered didn't appear on the final bill and had to be redone. Good job we were observant!
Sadly, the service was not good tonight! We had to wait a long time before any waiter was bothered to take our order!! Then at the end of the meal, we ordered coffee, and that was cold!! Not the best experience.
Service fine. Food not as good as previous occasions but it depends on your choice of food and sometimes you win some and lose some. On the whole Cote is very good value for money.
Food and wine very good. service friendly and excellent. We moved table to avoid incredibly noisy other guests. All handled very well Superb location for Cadogan Hall.
I really like this restaurant, it is close to home and the meals are well priced. The menu is extensive and I particularly like the Chicken Liver Parfait which is to die for. I would recommend it for any time of day.
Overall, a good experience with efficient and friendly service. The food was of a reasonably good standard, although nothing special. Some of the waiters make too much noise, talking loudly and laughing loudly with one another - not very professional.
Great meal. Just a little bit noisy. Excellent service. Good gluten free menu. Great location for Royal Vourt Theatre. I would certainly r commend it.
I have always liked Cote at Sloane Square having been a semi-regular there when I lived close by. Our visit yesterday was pleasant enough. The food was quite good, servings a little on the light side, but tasty. Wine selection is good. But the noise. The amount of noise in the restaurant made it slightly unpleasant and conversations were hard to have. Will be back, but will try to go at a quieter time.....mid Winter!!!
Helpful and patient staff. Varied menu and good value. Proper tablecloths and napkins. Once you have made your order food appears quickly. Good atmosphere and centrally located.
