Côte Sloane Square

SUPERB! Not only is a brilliant location but the service could not have been better. The service was attentive and helpful without being annoying. The food itself was excellent and for exceptional value. The wine was really good and reasonably priced. The whole experience was a ten out of ten. Friendly, unpretentious, relaxed, tasty, fun and good value with a lovely atmosphere and pleasing decor.

A bit too noisy for comfort. Parters thought the Hollandaise sauce was tasteless. But my light meal salmon was excellent and enjoyed the Kir Royale......

very easy to enjoy lunch and good house white wine. will continue to visit when in the area and bring friends when we can do so.

The only fault I would mention is that the tables are very close together, but then it is a Bistro and a very busy buzzy one at that Otherwise the service, food and wine were all of an excellent standard for the money Would definitely visit again when in the area

Excellent food really outstanding service a little noisey a lovely experience we certainly enjoyed our lunch here. The only complaint would be about the noise. We will certainly return.

As most times at Cote a good meal but initially put off by not being offered the set menus st 17.30, having to ask & then only being given the dearer of the two! Bad practice or poor training.

Very good service and excellent value for money. The food is always well presented and tastes good. French cuisine with a good, but not overly wide range of choices. The steak was actually cooked as medium, rather than the often overdone version frequently served as medium by other restaurants. We were dining before a concert and everything was served in good time without being rushed.

Service was great food disappointing... I only enjoy enjoyed the Breton Tomatoes as the tomatoes were absolutely delicious... Main course of Asparagus Risotto was bland uninteresting and rice not quite cooked. Peche Crumble tasteless bland dull. Wine average and over priced. To be honest I could make better cooked, seasoned and tasting food at home. Come on Cote!!!!

Good quick and polite service. Food was good, tasty and portions were generous. Buzzy atmosphere but not too hectic. Would recommend as a good value brasserie.

Your coffee is dreadful. I was offered Italian for first cup which was fine. Second cup was undrinkable. Other than that I love Côte.

I ate at the Cote Brasserie at st Katherine’s Dock last week and had exactly the same meal and that had a favourable edge compared to the Sloane Square location. The reasons being I was packed in with the table next to me so close and the rib eye steak was not as good as about 15% was gristle. The staff member that primarily served me was very efficient. I would return but be more careful on the table I was seated at. Kevin

Rather sneakily, you have to ask for the lunch menu rather than it being on the table with the a la carte. We were asked for our order within a couple of minutes of sitting down when we were not ready. When we did order, they managed to bring out an asparagus risotto instead of chicken and chips - I would not have thought they were easily confused! However the food was nice enough and the service (apart from the mistake) was good. Such a shame they allow so many 'business' meetings, complete with laptops, on virtually every other table.

We book Cote Brasserie Sloane Square because we know we can be certain of having a good meal at a reasonable price in a pleasant atmosphere

Slower service than usual with one dish having to be sent back due to the desert not being hot enough, however we hope that this is a one off for Côte.

Lovey meal, great service BUT the place was so noisy it hurt my ears. Obviously a busy time (Saturday evening) but if you could dampen down the noise/acoustics it would be much appreciated.

Delicious meal with my niece before going to Cadogan Hall. Waiter attentive and friendly but not intrusive. Lovely buzz in the restaurant. Would recommend to friends and will definitely visit again.

A first class lunch for two with wine was excellent. The staff were polite, professional and did not rush our dining experience. Every Cote restaurant provides an ambiance and enjoyment whether it is lunch lunch or a special occasion. Thank you.

Always a good experience with professional, polite staff and good food

Although it was very busy, we had great service and food was promptly served, delicious and piping hot! We were a party of 6 and our meals arrived together, which was impressive in a busy restaurant.

Always friendly and fast service with good food. This Côte is let down by being rather noisy as the acoustics are poor. Our table was not the best this time as right on top of the waiters’ tillpoint.

Yet again, Cote was a perfect place for an informal supper with friends. Great food, service, ambience and laughter. As ever, my Steak Frites and Creme Caramel were delicious!

Congratulations Cote. We had an excellent meal and the service, and in particular our waiter, was excellent. The Frcench Onion Soup, Sea Bass and Seafood Lingeni were all first clas, as were the deserts. We are regular Cote customers and will be coming back

Lovely meal. Our table wasn’t ready but we were given a complimentary drink while waiting and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Quick as promised the food was very tasty and adequate especially the chicken. Staff were lovely and friendly. We got to the theatre in ample time. Will come me again

Our whole dining experience was first class. The food was delicious and served piping hot which isn’t always the case when eating out. The waiter ( not certain of his name but he was Italian) was rushed off his feet but was pleasant and attentive. Thank you Côte Brasserie for a fine dining experience on my birthday.

A disappointing meal with annoying service, muggy atmosphere and food only good in parts. Will have second thoughts about visiting this Cote in Sloane Square in future.

Lovely environment, delicious onion soup, friendly staff. Barely warm risotto & so noisy we decided to leave as we were unable to converse...the latter is not a complaint though as the restaurant was full & buzzing! Thankyou. Michelle

I feel your staff are always so rushed I know your busy but I just feel your staff are always pressured and always seem so rushed , they always make me feel warm and welcome looking after me but I’ve noticed they feel like need to rush

I have never had a bad meal. The menu is very wide so should offer something for most people. The Sloane Square venue has plenty of room between table as some can be a bit crowded. Into great to get a good meal with wine for £40 per head. It means you'll consider it again regularly.

Hard to fault anything. Excellent food and service. Pleasant staff. Good value. Interesting wine list. Beer choice limited but what there is is good. Good prevtheatre menu.

Had what we thought was a great meal but unfortunately finished up with food poisoning, probably from the steak tartare, which obviously does not help in rating the restaurant.

Really tasted steak and great value. The staff slightly slow and it was a bit tricky getting the bill. I’d come back though

Great food, swift service and a nice table. Superb as always, I am a regular and no matter the audience I bring, they can all find something of their liking.

Always consistently good at all branches of COTE used. Portions are too large ! Treated well even when using pre tbeate menu and claiming the free cocktail.....encourages spend and recommendation. Used often and happy to take guests knowing it will be reliable. SF.

A fantastic brassiere to dine in, I went with my kids i found cote to be child friendly impeccable service.. I would highly reconnect to eat jjm

The staff were all excellent especially the young lady with the dark hair front of house. All really professional and friendly. The food is fantastic value for money . Really enjoyed our lunch and will definitely be back. Thank you

The restaurant at Sloane Square was very busy at lunch time and the noise level was high, it is therefore a pity that loud music was being played. My leek soup on the set menu was delicious but served without bread, this would be unthinkable in a restaurant in France. This must be a cost cutting exercise as bread used to be served free but now one has to pay.

We go to this branch quite often and normally the food is excellent but yesterday mine was not very warm. My husband’s was hot and good but my asparagus starter and salmon main course were tepid. The asparagus wasn’t too bad but the salmon was over cooked and dry. I do not complain but maybe should have done. A disappointment this time.

The food, service and atmosphere is excellent. I have eaten in many Cote restaurants and this is easily the best.

Our waiter was lovely as was the food. Excellent as always! The atmosphere is relaxed but very professional, high end eating but not night end prices

Very good food and service. The staff are very attentive and the food is very consistent in quality and the menu always has several choices I would like.
