Excellent restaurant. Welcoming, efficient friendly service, food very good and value for money. Great set menu for lunch. We were not rushed at any stage, yet it was extremely busy. The staff were totally on top of everything. A really good buzz without it being overwhelmingly noisy.
Exceedingly, extremely busy and chaotic on arrival. Nowhere to stand; angry customers vying to get the attention of the maitre d'. But once we were seated, the food was very good.
Better than any Brasserie I have ever eaten in London - comparable with best in France. Highly recommended, attentive staff but not annoying. Quick service of dishes
Good atmosphere, and good menu/food. We had champagne and the waiter was clearly not used to pouring it,which resulted in some of it spilling onto the table and menus. The waiter for our table was very busy serving other tables and it was necessary to keep attracting his attention if you needed anything. However it was overall a good experience and I would go again.
We stood waiting at the door for ages, trying to get someone's attention - there was no-one at the Maitre D' station. When we eventually managed to flag someone down, we were shown a table, but then left. No-one even bothered to take our drinks order, so we again had to flag a waiter down ourselves. The food was average, but it has definitely gone down hill. Our Pissaldiere was a raw on the bottom, and our main courses were uninspiring, but filled a hole. It wasn't a very enjoyable occasion, and I think it's safe to say we won't be returning.
Prompt and pleasant service. Good food and drink. Noisy but every Cotes is at the hour we went-pre Theatre. Tables bit close together but again when your paying a very reasonable price for food in Sloane Square it’s only to be expected. Overall very pleasant dining experience but if you want space and peace go mid morning or mid afternoon!
Fast and courteous service, good menu includes vegetarian options, overall good value for money , would go back and also recommend it to my friends.
Mega busy today so not as enjoyable as on other visits , but then it is the Christmas shopping season. Well priced food and nice service but MUSIC, droning and terrible.... would be nice to get a bit of low key classical music !
Very good as usual. Great atmosphere as it was so busy. Cote just have the perfect mix whichever one you visit. Always choose Cote if there is one in the area.
Fantastic as usual and an extremely good selection on the menu for vegetarians which I always welcome. It made a special day for me extra special!
Staff friendly and efficient . Superb food and excellent value for money. Pre theatre menu has lots of choice. Whole experience was without fault would definitely recommend this restaurant
A first class restaurant with absolute first class service, even though really busy, and really really good food . A wonderful evening thank you so much
Fortunately I am a keen fan of Cotes Brasserie, but I don't think I shall be returning to Sloane Square. The noise levels were far too high, the draft from the door affected many of the tables, the girl who showed us to our table gabbled an explanation of the menus with her back to us, so that we had to ask her to explain again. That said, the service and food were excellent, as I have come to expect from Cotes B.
Lovely lunch with my brother and sister in law, excellent service and delicious food! Thank you for good start to Christmas 2017. Happy Christmas to all!
An interesting and varied menu with a choice of food to suit all tastes. Food was to usual high standard and prices reasonable. Staff friendly and service excellent.
The food was good for the price, and served on warm plates. Service a bit slow, they were very busy. Poor acoustics & hard to speak.
Our food very good, as always; on the negative side unfortunately service was very slow and the noise level in the dining room was extremely high, making it difficult to carry on a conversation
Warm welcome, good atmosphere and service. Food prompt and tasty. Pre-theatre menu was good value, with a good range of variety to choose from. Recommend!
Food was great, as ever, and the atmosphere good but our waiter seemed to be on transmit not receive and was rather pleased with himself
Food as nice as ever but for some reason the early evening .set menu I was offered was priced at £19.95 and not at £12.95 as it always is and as it is still displayed on their website. Rather annoying so I chose from the main menu instead.
Always good and affordable There seems to be a Cote in most locations. I have never been disappointed with service or quality over the last 5 years
Service as excellent I wonder how it will be maintained post Brexit Food was well presented and delicious especially the duck As always Cote maintains good value for money.
Staff were super friendly. Restaurant was beautiful and food was delicious. If you are around Sloane Square make sure you check it out. I would definitely go again!
Excellent meal with a nice offer: we received a complimentary kir royale and starter each when ordering our main courses from the main a la carte menu. Great service too.
We arrived early and were greeted warmly and shown a table. I requested an easily accessible table because of a disability and this was granted very willingly. All the food was of your usual excellent standard and served quickly, even though the restaurant was exceptionally busy. Thank you
A few small mistakes that were rectified but overall an excellent lunch enjoyed by all of us. The onion soup is always good, steak cooked as requested. Well done.
Really good meal. absolutely speedy service . The server were extremely attentive. The restaurant was busy but the staff was very much on top of it all. And the food was nice to boot
All very good, delicious food, delightful staff. Only downside requested a table at the front when I booked but didn't get the one I wanted. Otherwise no complaints whatsoever.
Food was delicious as was the wine. Staff were friendly and helpful and attentive. Only drawback was the lack of room, it was a bit cramped.
Requested a table near the window and got one at the back of the restaurant next to a couple of very noisy people. Food and service was good.
Excellent food, professional and speedy service. So popular that every Cote restaurant I know roars with the sound of happy diners. Hoping to visit again very soon!
The most delicious French Onion soup - a very kind Kir Royale for keeping us waiting for a little while, and fantastic service - thank you. It just never fails!
Great food and service but the restaurant, which was very busy, was rather too noisy for relaxed conversation. One suggestion, low strips of mirror around the walls (like the ones in Bluewater Cote) would be nice and would make facing the wall less claustrophobic.
Efficient and value for money for pre theatre dining. We managed to have a 3 course meal in under 1 hour. Friendly staff. Busy place. So tend to be a little noisy.
Everything was great, thank you. But perhaps the loos could have a room freshener down there. Food was excellent and service brilliant. Looking forward to the next visit.
as always the food is excellent value and the staff delightful ! the restaurant is very attractive and in a perfect location for meeting friends off the tube .
The grilled goat's cheese and warm vegetable salad was delicious except that they put far too much dressing on it which spoiled it. Otherwise our lunch was enjoyable.
Food ok, service not great. Queue to be shown to table and slow to bring bill / take payment. Price £56 for two for one course, small glass wine and coffee each.
Good food, but incredibly noisy staff. Sitting by the bar and the kitchen made conversation difficult. And then there was the completely unnecessary music. Get rid of it!
The food was some of the worst I have ever eaten , minute steak more like a wet flannel module tasteless and fish goujons like rubber... shocking quality or suppliers
Reliably good food at reasonable price. Waiter very attentive. Fun and lively atmosphere. Would definitely recommend for a light lunch or even something more substantial.
Thoroughly enjoyed meal and, despite being very busy, service was good - so noisy though. We often use Cote in various places and the standard so far has always been cobsistebt
We had a very good meal and likewise very good, patient and friendly service. Cote is always consistent in terms of quality of food and service.
Good atmosphere, fast service & friendly waiters / waitresses. The set menu may be prepared in advance as my starter was a little cold. The main & dessert were very good though. They have crammed a lot of tables in & with the waiters rushing around between small gaps in tables I saw multiple drinks / food dropped & some spilled on peoples coats
Booked with plenty of time, a table for five and we were subsequently crushed on a table for four. Not good when you specifically book a table
Extremely crowded and noisy. The food was good but we have been in several Cotes especially the one in Wimbledon and they are more friendly and less noisy.
Such a lovely time at Cote in Sloane Square for lunch today - and the superb Jacob, our waiter, made it very special. Thank you.
The food was very tasty and the pre thermatre set menu is very good value. The service was very friendly and efficient. Overall very good dinner
Good food and service... in fact food served possibly too quick... meal felt quite rushed..each course appeared on the table within 2 minutes of ordering. . Felt like they were trying to get us out as quickly as possible so that they could use out table again.
Staff knowledgeable , friendly and helpful. Those I’ve met have also had excellent senses of humour. Food of the high standard I am used to at all Cote restaurants including Cardiff, Brighton and Soho. Always Delicious. Plates hot (unless salads being served!) I always recommend Cote for reasonably priced food, served speedily with a smile.
