We were not impressed by the service. The waiter whilst pouring out the wine broke the glass. Also when collecting the used plates he spilt the remaining sauce onto the floor. He wasn't going to clean it up until my friend pointed this out to him. Not good for health and safety. Also the other waiters kept bumping into my other friend while going past to serve other customers without apologising. The food wasn't really that good. Even though we went for the pre-theatre menu I expected it to be better. Although the frites were lovely.

food good as usual, although prices are less attractive now. I go there mainly because of its location in Sloane Square, and although prices have gone up, they are reasonable compared with some of the other places.

It was alright, very busy and a little cramped in as the tables are very closed to each others. Our table was available at the right time but not any earlier. Took a while for our drinks to be served... after our meal. The food was fine, good value for pre-theatre light meal.

food always good and reasonable priced at any Cote BUT at Sloane Square, slow check in, appreciate it was a busy time but only one man on the door who then took people to tables to get them settled caused big tailback. Lovely waiter but he needed help. Sooo noisy in the back end of the restaurant it made us leave earlier than we would have liked. .

A great restaurant. Only negative is the vegetarian starters are very limited in options especially if you don’t eat fish. Otherwise great ambience and service.

We love Cote! Always a brilliant balance of quick service without feeling in the least rushed. Food pretty good too! Plus an extensive gluten free menu for my coeliac daughter.

The service and food was very good, but they did try to charge us for complimentary Kir Royale so had to have the bill amended. We eat from the set menu and all enjoyed the food. It was good value. The service was fast which worked for us as we were going on to a concert.

It is a good branch but very busy and therefore sometimes a little slow and rather noisy. That said it is a good location and basically a good standard.

This is getting a little repetitive, but I make no apology for the fact that I continue to find this restaurant offering great tasting food with super service! A gathering of five last night, who all enjoyed the tasty food, along with professional and courteous service form the staff. See you again very soon.

Fantastic service in a great setting. Perfect place to go for pre-theatre dinner. Service was prompt without being rushed. Food was really enjoyable. I definitely recommend a visit.

It would have been a six had it not been for the THUMP, THUMP, THUMP repetitive, tuneless, sound of MUSAC. Why restaurants still use this intrusive medium, I dont know. I go to a restaurant for a relaxing meal and someone else is deciding what music I listen too. WAKE UP COTE !!!!! Otherwise, a great experience with professional attentive staff and great cuisine at the best value

We had a very good pre-theatre meal and the service was excellent. The mackerel pate is stasty and my friend enjoyed the fennel and blood orange salad followed by venison cottage pie. I chose moules frites and was not disappointed. I would eat there again.

I had two starters and my friend a starter and a main, and then we both had desserts. The food was of the expected standard, except that the poached eggs on my eggs Benedict were rather chilly. Cool runny yolk is not awfully nice. Also the service was spasmodic, which was strange because the restaurant wasn't very full, it being Monday. On the plus side, the mussels were obviously freshly cooked (at other restaurants I have had them reheated, and thereby spoiled), and my friends chips were hot and crisp. Over all - good.

I love going to Cote. Never had a bad meal or service. The only problem with Sloane Square branch is it is very noisy, the acoustics are not good, but it won't stop me going

Excellent value for 3 course, pre-theatre meal with attentive service. However, cottage pie consisted mainly of gravy with a notable absence of venison and a small portion of cabbage: disappointing. Noise in the restaurant would be greatly reduced by turning off the annoying "background" music.

Must say I was slightly disappointed with this Cote. The table we sat at was round the back and we could have been anywhere. For was okay eggs benedict was lovely but surprusedtat the toast the gave wife was both burnt and cold. Cold toast is one of those things and may be the waiter might not know without touching but burnt is cleary noticeable and to me unacceptable.

My guests and I enjoyed our meal at Cote Sloane Square and thought that the fixed price menu was good value. However our pleasure was reduced by the loud and incessant beat of the 'piped' music. It was impossible to hear the music itself, even if we wanted to, and the beat made conversation round our table even more difficult than it would otherwise have been. Surely it is not necessary to have any such music once the restaurant is filling up. Michael Gudgeon

good food and service for a special Valentine Day. I would recommend Cote to my friends and acquaintances. By the way i think your minimum word limit is a bit silly. I would remove it if i were you

Cote is a trusted brand and the food, as ever, was of a good standard. However, the service at the one in Sloane Square is awful. It was 3 men assigned to the back area where we were sitting and all 3 managed to ignore our table of 8 for most of the time we were there. It's a shame that the service let's the place down because the service in Hay's Galleria branch is excellent.

Unfortunately I ordered 'the salmon' not realising there was a salmon dish in both the starters and the mains. They brought me the starter although I wanted the main. It was going to take some time to cook the main and my friends were already served their mains so I opted to stick with the starter. When the bill came they had not charged me which was right. However, for their sake they must give the dishes very different names.

Another excellent meal from the first class fixed price menu. This restaurant never fails to impress me with their very down the line French bistro food, but they offer truly excellent value along with great service from the staff. I’m quite a regular here now, and would recommend it to anyone wanting a God’s value meal in Sloane Square. See you again very soon!

Fantastic restaurant and brilliant staff Great place to go! The food is fresh and very tasty, the menu has a great selection and the wine list is good also. It was my mums birthday, the staff came out to sing happy birthday to her (even the chef) while serving the dessert, fabulous touch!

Average compared to other visits. Restaurant much quieter with fewer staff on duty and it showed, with kitchen staff serving customers rather than waiters.Even the food was slightly disappointing - the risotto had too much pepper in it and if Id been asked about my meal, which I wasnt,Id have flagged it up.

Eventually shown to acceptable quiet table, lot of noise because there were more children than usual being half-term. Food was excellent as usual. Service was slow presumably because of half-term and being very busy. Will certainly go back.

Good food and service but they spoil it trying to over charge. It has happened twice in a row now. All one has to do is check the bill very carefully
