Great service. Good cuisine. Can be noisy. Only downside is the relentless background repetitive beat of Musak; music that is impossible to distinguish and just adds rather negatively to the restaurant buzz

Ordered 3 courses from the set menu and a £40 bottle of wine. But couldn't really enjoy it as one of the staff came over and told us to move because they needed the table back for others (1.5 hours for 3 courses, wine and conversation with your friends - I'll let others decide if this is adequate, personally, I felt quite embarrassed they asked me this in front of my guests.

Never lets us down, cote is a great experience, good food and reasonable cost. We choose this chain whenever we are in London. But we always book because a lot of people feel the sqme

Beautiful, old fashioned dining room. Straightforward Côte menu, food was mediocre, but well priced so can’t complain. Stick to the bistro classics- duck parfait, steak frites, frisée et lardons salade. Service was pleasant. Surprisingly good wine list. Good pre-theatre meal, would go back.

I have been coming to this branch of Côte for a long time and was there this week celebrating my birthday. Sadly it was the worst meal I’ve ever had in Côte ...... the waitresses were quite abrupt and had no knowledge whatsoever of the ‘February Specials’ menu. My food arrived stone cold and they offered to re-heat it for me (it was chicken!!) however, I’d seen the chef sticking his fingers into the food to check the temperature ...... obviously I refused to have the food ready-heated! I chose a steak in stead. They didn’t charge for either dish but it spoilt my birthday!

Great ambience, lovely staff, delicious food and value for money. Located on Sloane Square so perfect for a pre Cadogan hall concert dinner. The Rach 3 at Cadogan was spectacular

Felt rushed then ignored. The steak was undercooked. It was well seasoned. The restaurant was cold as if they left the door open. The wine was good, the salad as well.

The food is always very good and normally the service is as well. However, last night it proved very difficult to get someone to take our order and when they did they failed to take down the starter ordered by one of us. Accordingly, we waited for some time before asking what had happened and then waited further while the smoked salmon dish was prepared. A more senior person then came and apologised and the usual high service returned. It demonstrates that one waiter who was incompetent and unfriendly can potentially damage a restaurant that is very popular and highly regarded.

The food selection for the set menu was exceptional and the Smoked Salmon starter and Haddock main course were very tasty and well presented. The Creme Caramel dessert didn’t quite live up to Cotes Fulham - where the chef seems to give a more generous Caramel sauce! The service however was not the usual standard as our Kir Royales didn’t arrive until we were halfway through our starter!

Excellent pre theatre menu, price, food & service - a little too quick between courses, probably to increase table turnover. I’d like to go back for A la Carte to see if I don’t feel so rushed.

Good food and service. Tables maybe a little close together to be optimal if it was full. Excellent Brasserie menu. The food is better than the swankier place across the street and much less expensive. Recommend it.

This restaurant is well-placed for Cadogan Hall, so I go there quite often. it is a large restaurant, therefore a bit noisy, but the service is good, as is the food, and wine. There were a couple of hitches with the bill (being charged for the complimentary Kir Royales, and a mix-up over courses) but this was soon sorted once I had spotted them; overall a pleasant experience, and good value.

Hi. We arrived a few minutes early and as our table was not ready was asked to wait in hotel reception and someone would come and get us. Unfortunately they did not. We went back in to the restaurant and were shown to a table towards the front of the restaurant. It was freezing. Most of the of the guests had coats and scarves on and in some cases hats too! We asked to move to a warmer part of the building. No tables were available and we were asked to wait until one became available. As we had no idea how long the wait would be we decided to leave. We found somewhere warm and cosy next door.

Food was v good. Value was v good. On that day my service was a let down. Recently I heard the following on a show and it felt v true - customers are willing to forgive average food but not poor service. It makes good food taste average or worse. The waiter noticed that my table was incredibly wobbly. He made an effort, placed something under one of the legs and tested it - it was clearly wobbling still and instead of doing some more, he tapped the top as if the improvement was sufficient and his job was done. Poor - he wouldnt want the table for himself let alone for anyone else. Shame

My chicken was dry and not cooked fresh. It was heated up to serve to me. The plate was too hot to touch - probably heated up in the microwave. The waiter was unimpressed that I wanted to order another one and said “what if that one was dry too!” There were empty tables so service should have been better. Also went to Winchester branch last night and the food was cold - apart from my soup. Both tables were booked for 9:30pm - is it a case of the chef gets bored towards the end of the night?
