Côte Sloane Square

It’s great to have Côte back open and there were lots of happy reunions occurring between loyal customers and staff alike. The restaurant has adapted well to social distancing, I’d say 20 tables removed. The food was good and the service attentive. I’m vegetarian and with the slimmed down menu the choices were very limiting. The goats cheese salad and pasta with peppers were good. The fries were served cold and small portion.

As always, the standard of food was good. Enjoyable and delicious. Service excellent. Covid wise, we felt very safe and the bonus was that it was less noisy than normal so we were able to have a conversation without shouting! Will return.

The service was really lacking. We had to work hard to flag down a waiter to ask for water, then twice for plates when the starters were served, then when the water ran out, etc. While we were there, on 3 occasions did someone shatter glass or plates in the restaurant. Poor waiters were so overworked and many tables were left uncleaned. The menu had a good range but the mediocre quality food and overworked waiters made the experience rather disappointing.

Delightful evening, couldn’t fault the food, service and atmosphere. Despite being extremely busy the food served timely and with a smile. Thank you. Highly recommended and will return

There were 9 of us and we had a lovely meal. Everyone enjoyed their food and the wine was good. The service was slow to start but they were very busy and it was fine but there was minimal interaction or charm. The restaurant was really busy when we got there (probably end of usual lunch service) so it was very loud but it did quieten down which then made it easier to have a conversation. We had tickets to a concert at Cadogan Hall for the evening and as a result all got a complimentary Kir Royale which was a lovely start to the meal and great that this branch of Cote has this arrangement with a local venue - one of the reasons we chose to eat there. Regularly eat here before going to the theatre. Always good food and service. But I wish the waiters would stop saying “Enjoy!” every time they bring something to the table.

Always good value and quality. Sloane Square one of the best cotes. Good staff too. It’s nousy but always ask for table at back which helps.

I ordered the pork pate with cornichons and was disappointed - the pate was far far to cold and impossible to spread on the toast and tasteless - it should not be served that cold apart from that as always Cote is a great restaurant the service pleasant

I love Cote Brasserie; but why have your staff stopped putting out the prestige/pre-theatre menu with the a la carte? I love trying things when you change them seasonally but yesterday they had hidden away the set menus! When we & our neighbors each side asked, they did find them but if you don't know one can miss superb value and good food combinations.

Yet another enjoyable meal served by friendly attentive, but not intrusive staff. The quality for the price is impressive and the charred fennel served with the sea bass is a new favourite for me.

Your staff were excellent as always. The lady who looked after us was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I was rather disappointed to find that she wasn't going to be working next time we are due to come.

The food quality and service is consistently good. Today shared with my husband and daughter who share my positive views. Reasonable priced too which is always a bonus.

I requested a window seat and was pleasantly surprised to receive one. We chose the haddock and put lentils special which was very good. The service was good and attentive.

Very pleasant and cheerful staff, - food good, but had run out of sea bass by 5.45. Not good, though we weren’t charged extra for having fish off a la carte, to compensate.

Amazing restaurant every time! Perfect for any occasion! Food is fantastic - being gluten free it is wonderful to have so many gluten free options to choose from! And the set menus are incredibly good value!

The food was excellent and staff friendly. The only downsides are that it was very noisy, and that the tables are very tightly packed; at one point my dining companion got knocked into by a passing waiter.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good food. Unfortunately we found the room very noisy due to bad acoustics.

A first class lunch for two with wine was excellent. The staff were polite, professional and did not rush our dining experience. Every Cote restaurant provides an ambiance and enjoyment whether it is lunch lunch or a special occasion. Thank you.

On line booking worked well Easy going, informal atmosphere Good value pre theatre menu. Speedy Service Cheerful, friendly serving team. We even got the bill quickly ( area where many restaurants fail!)

We arrived at the allotted time and was taken straight to our table. The service was excellent and the food was too, served hot and freshly made. We have used this branch of Cotes (Sloane Square) many times and have never been disappointed.

As always Cotes Sloane Square made us feel welcome. Despite the restaurant being completely full with pre show diners, the service was perfect and they catered to our requests perfectly. The food was cooked and served beautifully as usual too. Another great Cotes experience.

A very disappointing experience overall. We were not welcomed on arrival and had to interrupt staff to get their attention. Once seated we had to wait again to get someone’s attention for them to take our order. We helped ourselves to table water. The food was decent but wasn’t warm enough. When we asked for the bill, we were told they could only accept cash as the reader was broken, an apology was offered as we should have been told before being seated. We had to ask for our change and was told we’d have to wait for other people to be seated first. We had at this point for up from our table as someone else was being seated and was waiting in the entrance for sometime.

Very pleasing meal. The Staff coped well and charmingly at a very busy time.

Not up to the usual standard. The mussels were old and soft. The service was slow. The noise was far too loud. Some soft furnishing needed to reduce noise.

Very busy due to a gig near by in Cadogan Hall but nevertheless the staff still managed to provide very good service and food as usual.

This our go to bistro when in the area.We always enjoy coming to this branch of Cote. Food and service never disappoints. Good choice of menu and good value for money.
