the table I wanted, quick and friendly service, one request had to be repeated, but it was a hot day so forgiven, and all pretty good.
Waiter had a very odd manner and made us all feel uncomfortable by recommending more expensive wines than the ones we ordered. After this my main course did not arrive with my fellow diners meals and I had to ask where it was. It was later delivered with the most scant of apologies.
We had an excellent waiter, who was great fun and very efficient. Service was good and very fast. The food was very good as usual.
Lovely service. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely food with an excellent selection of choices on the menu. The pre-theatre menu is amazing value for money.
Friendly service and excellent food. Only complaint is the noise level which makes conversation difficult and there is certainly no need to have background music!
Delicious set meal accompanied by a bottle of sparkling wine. The waiter was attentive and friendly. I had the minute steak which could have been a bit rarer, and finished with iced berries and white chocolate sauce.
We are never disappointed at this place. The food is good and also the service. We keep coming back again and again. Most of all the prices are reasonable .
I love this restaurant. Always good food for a reasonable price. Good service too. The duck breast is my favourite. And the kir royale is great.
This is a great branch of Cote. Probably the best. Buzzing with life and great atmosphere. The staff are incredibly hard working at this restaurant. Busy and noisy and exciting.
Food was excellent (as usual) but service was poor: we waited a long time between starter and main, and had to remind our waiter of this
Food okay, more vegetarian options than I expected. Service started out well but we waited ages for our dessert order to be taken, then had to ask twice for the bill only to be found we'd been over charged on two counts. Not impressed.
I always enjoy going to Cote - I go quite regularly to Cote in Marylebone, Sloane Square and St Christophers Place. The food is consistently very good and so is the service - never disappointed!
Lovely food at a reasonable price and a very friendly staff. The restaurant is easy to find just round the corner of Sloane Square Station.
It's a great location very near Sloane Square tube & brilliant for breakfast, lunch or dinner on a shopping day out. Lovely staff, great space and lovely food for any time of day.
Had the set lunch here after a Prom at the Cadogan Hall. It really is excellent value. The mackerel starter was very good as was the summer salad though I would have preferred less dressing on the salad. The service is always excellent given the influx of diners after the Prom. Always a good standard which means I keep going back.
We given a seat there the door, help was offered a bit too early for us, went away where asked but was there immediately when we where ready. The food came quickly, first course, very nice. After a nice break the second course arrived, also very nice. So good service, good food, whats not to like.
Very friendly, buzzy and good value, Even though it was full our order was taken and delivered promptly, Staff gave the impression of enjoying what they were doing!
The food was great although the seating was not good I was sat on the outside on a corner and my chair was constantly know by customers and staff as they walked by would not sit there again! Otherwise up to normal standard.
As usual every thing was fine, good food well served. The rom was air conditioned which was much appreciated in this unusually very hot weather.
Cote in Sloane Square gets busy on Saturday but we were welcomed and seated promptly and a friendly, efficient waitress seemed to know exactly when we needed anything. Glasses of wine appeared rapidly and 3 delicious courses were served without undue waits. Excellent branch of this valued London chain.
Not a great welcome treated as I was late for my booking actually we were 20 mins early. Slow service to take our order food excellent thou.
Delicious food and good service will be going back very nice atmosphere and easy to get to plus great shops in the vicinity, was very busy so worth making a reservation
The on-line reservation worked well; the welcome was warm; the staff serving were very good tempered asnd efficient. The food was served promptly. Food tasty!
Amazing. I like Cote better than The Ivy. The food and service is much better, and the bill sooooi much cheaper. Thank you so much.
Friendly and good service, even though restsurant very busy at lunchtime, and we enjoyed our meals. We weren't brought the complimentary table water that everyone else seemed to get, but it didn't really matter, so we didn't ask about it.
Excellent service and delicious food, was glad we booked as the restaurant was quite full. Service offered us extra lemon and ice with our water which was a nice touch.
This is a busy lunchtime Brasserie and can be a little cramped - but more than made up for by its consistently excellent food and service.
Other restaurant chains which come and go should take a good look at Cote. Consistent in food, good service, pleasant surroundings and reasonable prices - and a pleasing absence of food gimmickry- I've never had a bad Cote experience yet.
Good food, mussels fine, need larger bowl for shells. Good service with very pleasant waiters. Terribly noisy, from general people not children. And not absolutely full
Great value, excellent quality food with attentive service. Great for all occasions with family and friends. We ate from the pre / post theatre menu - as always great value.
Great Service as always, interesting variety on the monthly set menu (the Smoked Mackerel with Poached Egg starter was superb) and great value for money. We visited for a pre-show dinner on a Saturday evening and, having pre-booked for 5.45pm, had no wait at all. The fact that our visit coincided with England's 3rd place lay-off game may have led to it being slightly less busy than normal at this time on a Saturday, but the service and ambience was superb. Located directly across the road from Sloane Square underground station and just two stops on the Victoria Line from the theatres around Victoria Station, it is in a perfect position for those wanting dinner before heading off to see Hamilton, Wicked or whatever is playing at "The Other Palace", or for visiting "The Royal Court Theatre" or "The Cadogan Hall".
Cote is a wonderful restaurant and I visit it every month because the food is always delicious, the service great and I have recommended it to many people and taken many friends there.
Excellent and such good value will Always use your restaurants. Staff always so polite and helpful and good choices on the menu and food delicious.
Efficient welcome and choice of good value food options. Food unusually disappointing, onion soup bread burned, changed readily, chicken a bit dry.Otherwise fine,we will return again
The restaurant is well located. We were very early for our reservation but we were seated at another table while we waited and given an aperitif. Delicious. Good food, reasonably priced. I can recommend it.
Very good service, excellent food and drink as usual. I was most impressed that when I had made my booking and then rung the restaurant to ask a couple of questions, they responded quickly and efficiently. I had a Vegan in my party, and everyone was most accommodating to her needs. 5 star for customer service again thank-you!
We had a lovely leisurely lunch at Cote. Overall we were happy with the food, however my friend's cod in pancetta was disappointing, the pancetta was too fatty and she couldn't eat it, other than that we enjoyed our meal.
Food was fine - but the over fussy service was not appreciated - such a pity as we had expected better from Cote, Sloane Square
The service, food and drink were excellent as usual. It was very busy and noisy however and lack of consideration by other guests placing themselves almost on top of us, not noticed by the waiting staff, meant we left earlier than we would normally without dessert or digesting. A first!
The dining experience was very good and certainly up to the usual standard but... as we were about to leave, another customer fell ill and collapsed as she tried to stand up. Staff didn't seem sure how to deal with the situation with this lady lying motionless on the floor. My daughter asked if anyone on the staff was first-aid trained and, when told 'no', attended to the lady until an ambulance arrived. Cote restaurants are often very busy with lots of people and lots of movement. This isn't the first time I've witnessed a customer requiring treatment in a Cote restaurant. Perhaps it might be worth considering a policy where you have at least one qualified first-aider present on every shift in order to deal with unexpected incidents. The most basic training takes only a few hours and isn't expensive. Just a thought.
Great as usual. They even held back a small table beside ours in case our son turned up (which he did). The fixed price menu is very good value. This branch of Cotes is one of our favourites which we always visit when coming to London.
Great fast service and very helpful friendly staff noisy restaurant though.
The waiters should go through a mathaematics course. They could not divide the bill and understand that we wanted ro pay half the bill each.Took wrong amount from my credit card and I had to correct it on their behalf. The food service was decent.
Its always good at Cote on Sloane Square and last night was no different. The only thing that I do find annoying is the high noise level in the restaurant which could easily be negated by sound baffles on the ceiling. Last night WAS noisy and with one or two exceptionally loud tables, it makes conversation difficult.
Good service, even on a roasting hot Sunday afternoon, and good food and drink quality for the money. Cote is an excellent and reliable venue that caters safely and offers choice for my coeliac vegetarian wife.
Food and service was very good. Insisting on a minimum of twenty five words is a sure method of discouraging people from providing a review.
Nice restaurant chicken slightly burnt and overcooked but we didn't have the time to mention it as we were going to the theatre. Excellent service as usual
SMART - in a very convenient location, speedy and friendly service, with an excellent choice of delicious food and drinks, all reasonably priced too. Couldn't be bettered.
Good food, good staff, nice brasserie ambiance, good location, good value. This is definitely a restaurant to which I will return over and over again.
The service was prett6 good and the food, I thought, was great. Nice dining room with working air conditioning on one of the hottest days in London. Overall, great experience!
