Côte Sloane Square

We eat regularly in Cote restaurants throughout London but this one seems to have the edge in cooking the menus on offer

The perfect venue for a pre concert meal. Always excellent service and real food at affordable prices.

The food and service was, as usual, good but it was extremely hot and the man at the next table had to leave because he was so uncomfortable.

Excellent service and food at a very busy time of the day. Food came at very precis timings so that we were ready to eat the next course but did not feel rushed or pressured.

Very friendly, smiley and helpful waiter. Food good but not quite as good as same Cote menu elsewhere.

Service good and staff attentive. Goats cheese crottin was listed as being served warm with salad. It arrived cold, which i guess was a result of it standing around waiting for it to be served. Anyway, it was still pleasant, so i didnt send it back. Salmon main and pudding of crumble both excellent. Good value, with a glass of wine, some bread and sevice, £33. So thats hard to beat for bread, 3 courses and wine. Table was wobbly and had to be fixed and tables are quite close together, but thats an obvservation often made. Overall, a good experience but with minor irritations.

Had a lovely evening. The food is always consistently good and there’s now much more choice for my daughter with the introduction of a vegetarian menu. We both enjoyed a complimentary St Germaine Spritz. What a lovely drink! My only slight gripe is that there are a lot tables fitted into the space which makes it noisy. But that eased once the pre-theatre diners left.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, tasty food. Splendid! And such a handy location.

Central location to great shopping, art galleries and the Saatchi Gallery for the Tutankhamun: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh exhibition. Exceptionally busy today a Wednesday for lunch, pleased that we booked in advance.

My sister lives in Eastbourne on the south coast. I live in Maidenhead. Cote ion Sloane Square is an excellent place to meet up. Makes it a special occasion

We had an excellent meal, booked on the day. Just one course, given the time available. Service was swift.

The overall experience was fine however my duck main was cold and when I asked the waitress about it she kindly took it back to fix. However when the plate returned shortly later, it was obvious the whole thing had been microwaved - the plate was ridiculously hot and the food was barely much warmer and had simply become a bit tough. The boiling hot plate was the microwave giveaway. Disappointing.

Excellent value for money in central London, first rate food and excellent attentive service.

I particularly like this branch of Cote and this time it was not so crowded but still busy, so there was a lively atmosphere. The dishes were excellent and the service good. I wish we could have gone there earlier in the evening and spent longer!

Wonderful meal with my mother after attending an exhibition at the Saatchi. Lovely attentive waitress who instantly solved any query. Food came to the table really quickly! Delicious flavours from the prestige set menu. Unfortunately one star lost due to atmosphere - very very loud and seated at table next to loud group. However till recommend, and will be back, thank you Côte!

Great value 2 course set menu. Delicious food and best creme caramel we have ever had! Staff were most accommodating as our train was seriously delayed and we arrived late for our booking, but they held our table reservation which was much appreciated!

The food was the usual Cote standard except the mussels were poor quality and over cooked.

I’ve never been able to count on the experience at Côte. I hadn’t been in ages as I had a bland experience. I’ve been three times in the past month or so. The last two visits have been great, the most recent not so. My scallops were undercooked and only lukewarm. I also had to send back the swordfish which was still cold in the middle. My experience with Côte seems to be very hit or miss.

Cosy atmosphère and good food for reasonable price, personnel is nice

We hadn’t been to cote brasserie in a while, we usually would go to our local, Parsons Green. The quality of cooking and food preparation wasn’t to the standard of Parsons Green, all food should be prepared to the same standard whether it is from main menu or early dinner menu. The staff were very friendly and coping well with a busy service however the quality of food has put us off returning to Sloane Square branch. The Apple endive salad was sparse in all ingredients except lettuce and the steak was served well done and very chewy. Such a shame as we always have a great meal with cote.

It is a real shame but this time the service, food wasnt up to its normal standards. The place was really to hot making it unpleasant. We had to wait 20 mins for our dessert which when they arrived the ice-cream had melted and when you have 2 children this isnt ideal Service - staff to busy = more staff needed.

Waiter was lovely! & changed my friends main happily. Food isn’t what it used to be...... too many tables packed together for maximum capacity service.

My wife and I enjoyed another great meal at the Sloane Square branch of Cote. I have Coeliac disease and your Coeliac UK accreditation is well deserved. The service was excellent (thanks to Wendy) and the atmosphere in the restaurant is always very good and "buzzy" without being overwhelming. Keep up the good work!

Lovely feel to the restaurant - friendly and welcoming. The staff very accommodating and attentive.

I was very disappointed with the food last night. I had to send my main back which was the Swordfish as all it tasted was charcoal and it really didn't seem cooked. by the time I then got my 2nd main everyone else had finished. I went for Goats Cheese salad and again that was disappointing. It was a bowl of lettuce with a few strands of peppers on top. I ended up leaving most of this. We asked for Prosecco and what came out certainly wasn't prosecco. Overall the experience wasn't great at all.

The food was great. The restaurant was very busy and they took over half an hour to give us our desert. We had a time restraint and had to leave by 2.50, I had thought an hour and three quarters plenty. The team were patient with my grandchildren. Thank you

Good food difficult to hear over high noise level at lunch

We enjoyed our pre theatre meal but I found the chicken and bacon parmentier too heavily laden with garlic and salt, which rather spoilt my enjoyment of it. The staff were friendly but seemed overly keen to see us leave. Instead of asking us if we would like coffee at the end of the meal we were simply presented with the bill.

Excellent food, fast service, despite being totally full with theatregoers.

Cote is my go to Place for Dinner when I finish work and am meeting friends for a catch up. Perfect setting, location and always a great evening.
