Fantastic food beautifully served had a fabulous evening to celebrate my husbands birthday would thoroughly recommend it to everyone The service was particularly good, we had I'll be back

My daughter and I had a very pleasant lunch on Saturday. The food and the service were very good indeed. I will definitely book again.

Food good service good and good value. I have used Cote before in Welwyn Garden and there is real consistency across the franchise. Will be back.

The atmosphere was very pleasant and we were greeted warmly for our first visit. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Will come again in the future.

Nice welcome when we arrived even though it was very busy. Attentive staff. Delicious food. I can personally recommend the belly pork. I did order a side dish of green beans but it wasn't really necessary. Looking forward to my next visit.

We were greeted at the door, and immediately made welcome. We had a choice of table on Saturday lunch time - it was busy but not overly. The service and food were exceptional - well worth a visit.

Considering the restaurant opened less than 3 weeks ago - a well oiled machine. Food was good, authentic without reaching great heights - but it's early days. We enjoyed the experience and will return. Not cheap, with 'optional' 12.5% service charge too.

Lovely steaks! The starters (Camembert flatbread) was a bit disappointing as way too much onion. Service good and lovely restaurant setting, tables in the window looked the best.

Nice place for a meal in the town square; good value quality meals, really nice staff that worked well together as a team. Enjoyable experience and will go again.

Very pleasant staff , good food and a nice atmosphere plenty of choices on menu And a specials menu at lunch time and weekend, reasonably priced wine

Lovely restaurant with attentive staff. My starter was wonderful, but unfortunately my main wasn't that great. It is very good, however that they have options for those who have allergies or dietary needs.

Our first visit to Cote Brasserie proved to be a most enjoyable evening. Everything was spot on. The food and service were excellent. It would be hard to find fault with anything.

First visit to the newly opened branch in our home town of Shrewsbury. The food from the fixed price menu was very good. Service was prompt pleasant and attentive and we will look forward to going again soon. My only comment is that whilst there is a good selection of wines by the bottle, the choice of wine by the glass was very limited. I did ask for Shrewsbury branch to be noted as my main destination but received no reply from your customer service department.

Great addition to Shrewsbury eateries. Have visited 3 times in first week. Food is very good, staff friendly, helpful and professional. Extensive 'French' food menu with specials + good wine list. Food quality is very good, fresh and served with a smile

A friendly attentive service at cotes shrewsbury last night. Lovely atmosphere, classic decor, good food and will definately visit again. Great place to eat, grab a coffee and watch the world pass by or share a glass or two with good friends!

Really welcoming and friendly staff. We had food from their lunch / early evening menu and it was amazing with ample portion sizes. We will definitely go back. Thank you for a great evening.

Prompt efficient service, maybe a little too attentive . Food very good , I know the steak and frites come without accompaniment but a few vegetables would be nice or salad but not as an extra. I do realize this is how the dish is served traditional li in France .

The Staff were very attentive and helpful. The décor was lovely, I loved the "real" napkins. The food was excellent - both starter and main. The Viognier was excellent as well. All in all a very pleasing experience.

Food was average as was the service although the staff were very polite. Do not believe that a 12.5% charge should be added to the bill but instead should be shown at the bottom of the bill.

Good welcome by friendly staff. Food well presented and enjoyed by all of us (5) The only reason for not giving a maximum rating is 2 of my friends would have liked a better choice of soft drinks, such as elderflower, or non-alcoholic type cocktail as they were driving home.

Great food. Good atmosphere and very friendly staff. Will certainly come back again. I had the haddock wrapped in bacon and it was cooked to perfection. The frozen fruits with hot white chocolate sauce was delicious.

A spacious restaurant with comfortable chairs. I should like to see more fish items on the menu. The food items I chose, Anchovy Pissaladiere and Duck Breast, were very good to eat and well presented. The red wine I chose was good [La Lande]. The Monbazillac was lacking in intensity, and perhaps insufficiently chilled. The service was attentive. Cote is a valuable addition to the choice available in Shrewsbury.

The service was outstanding and the food was stunning and very good value. I took my friend after going with my husband and all three of us will be returning.

Excellent food and service. Really enjoyed the cote de Boeuf and best Creme caramel I've ever had. The house red is great too. Will return!

A very nice meal with a high standard of meal choice and service. The staff were all friendly and very efficient and we thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to the restaurant.

The food was excellent as was the service! The staff were friendly without hovering all the time! We were presented with lots of menus on arrival, but that meant there was lots of choice!

Any visit to a Cote Restaurant is a very enjoyable experience. Attractive surroundings, a very warm welcome on arrival, a helpful pleasant waiter, a good variety on the menu, beautifully arranged on the plate; and cost no exorbitant. Our visit recently was to celebrate my 80th Birthday, and the staff at Shrewsbury made it a very memorable time. Terrific!

Excellent food, wine and service. Great atmosphere and central location. The steak frites were excellent as was the creme caramel and vichyssoise soup. As it was international Sauvignon Blanc day we had a bottle!

Great experience from start to finish, welcoming staff, lovely smart decor, ace vegetarian menu and food to match. Lamb also excellent too tho my husband forgot to check it was British... will check next time. Will return pronto!

My friend and I were eager to try out the new Côte Brasserie in Shrewsbury and were not disappointed with anything. We had a warm and courteous welcome, our waitress was friendly and attentive, the decor is gorgeous and the FOOD was totally delicious. I would urge anyone to go along and try it. A most welcome addition to the town 😀😀

Staff very attentive. Champagne ok, starters alright, calamari not as good as Carluccios's. Main course veal ok , Breton stew too much tomato sauce but plenty of fish, mussels. Wine average, beer ok in small 25cl bottles. Not sur 12.5% gratuity was deserved, was added to the bill without consultation. Was it value for money- no, would we go back, maybe for a cheap lunch. Bit too noisy and lacked atmosphere.

We really enjoyed Côte Brasserie, Shrewsbury. We had beautiful food and the staff were really friendly and attentive. We will be going back again in the near future!

Freindly efficient service, good fresh ingredients used in the dishes. had the 3 course lunch special good value for money, not huge portions but very tasty & plenty for lunch.

This was our first time at this restaurant and we were a party of four and we all found the food, the service and the atmosphere to be outstanding.

We visited the Shrewsbury restaurant for breakfast last week and the food and service were both excellent and we will definitely be visiting again soon

Great service and delicious food, same quality as I've experienced at other Cote branches. Staff didn't hurry you, so we were able to enjoy our evening.

Good menu choice , to fit most budgets and without compromise of flavour . All three courses were cooked to perfection and were delicious, met all our expectations. Interior spacious and tastefully decorated has the Bistro feel. Service was excellent from greeting to paying the bill. We are so glad that Cote has come to Shrewsbury a great addition to our dining choices.

Very good, exceptional food and attentive service. Definately going back! Freshest fish eaten in Shrewsbury in a very long time. Clean fresh bright dècor and a great location right in the middle of town.

The restaurant didn't have the starter we wanted, and apparently not had it for last 2weeks, so why is it still on the menu? Olives were very bitter. And we had a surprise visitor of the rodent type next to our table, to be fair, we had seen him in the street when we arrived, and as the restaurant had their doors open, he ran in-he also ran back out-staff were very apologetic about it, didn't put us off staying. Main course was nice, but it really was just posh chicken and chips. Coffee was lovely, and the service excellent. Will we return? Probably but not in a hurry.

Excellent meal -: quality, value, service - all exceeded expectations. A great addition to Shrewsbury restaurants. We chose from the set menu which had a wide range of dishes to select from. Will be back again soon!
