Côte Shrewsbury

There is not much I can add to my previous reviews but Cote is a much welcome addition to Shrewsbury eateries and others will have to raise their standards

Lovely family meal with good food and good, friendly service. It has become one of our regular eateries always being made welcome - we will return

Had a lovely and memorable evening. Food was excellent. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Service was very good. Sat outside for an evening meal and as it got dark and a little cooler overhead heaters were switched on and this was great. Choice of food was exceptional with a la carte menu, early evening menu and 10th anniversary menu to choose from.

Cote now one of our regular eateries. The food is very good, staff continue to be friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is very pleasant

Service was very good indeed and the food was delicious. We had three courses and all of them were great. Would recommend it and we will be returning !

The service from arrival to departure was excellent. The food was superb. I did feel that a gratuity should be discretionary not already added to the bill.

Am now using Cote to meet up with family, friends and acquaintances. Good food, friendly smiling staff and nice location for these now regular get-together's

We spent a lovely evening here with family celebrating two wedding anniversaries. Lots of choice but we settled on the excellent value offered by the anniversary menu. Food was superb and the service was excellent, too.

Gorgeous restaurant; fab atmosphere and really lovely staff. The veggie options are severely limiting however as there were no choices on the set menus. We therefore had to choose from the more expensive choices, which although delicious, did seem unfair. This is the fault of the brand rather than the staff, who were very attentive. Not a problem but they will slap a tip on of 12.5% , which is no doubt in the small print but we felt we'd rather have been asked and would've tipped anyway as the service was excellent.

The main course item I ordered wasn't available, but the staff were really apologetic and even reduced the bill cost. The staff are great and the food was wonderful.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we looked after by a great waiter. Helped with advice on food and also liked a laugh. Food was wonderful and cooked perfect, couldn't recommend this place enough. Top job !!!

The restaurant is lovely inside and out, the staff are all very friendly but remain professional, and the food is delicious. My boyfriend and I will definitely be going back.

Food good, staff pleasant and efficient. Unfortonate that one off duty member of staff was facetiming on her phone, speaking extremely loudly, at least 4 tables were turning round in disbelief.

Great atmosphere. Attentive staff and lovely meal. Have been several times to Cote and enjoyed it on every occasion. The prices are very reasonable. A great addition to the Shrewsbury scene.

Great food and very friendly professional service, will definitely be back. It a was a very busy service but the staff were able to keep all tables happy.

Delicious food and friendly and efficient service! Will be back. The fish pie was very tasty as was the fish stew. Can' t wait to try something else from the menu soon!

Very good service, with also good food and wine. We will return. A very nice atmosphere, linen napkins a very nice touch. nice and busy is a good sign.

Staff were as excellent as the food. The restaurant was full but we were never left waiting for good service or food. 10/10 on the calamari, and the ribeye. 10% service charge was a little steep. Overall very impressed

Good food and pleasant staff . 12.5% gratuity charge automatically added to Bill but can be removed at request however some people may be to embarrassed to ask. I personally will as feel 10% is adequate.

Went for lunch, mentioned it was my birthday, so lovely that staff delivered my pudding with a candle and sang happy birthday. Would highly recommend.

Staff were lovely. Food was very good but very plain would of liked a bit more on the plate. There was no salad or veg. Service was good. Drinks were expensive

Was impressed with the decor, the attention of the staff and the menu choice. I did not give a rating of 6 as elements of the main dish were not as hot as they could have been.

great service and attention to detail, one fillet steak was over cooked both meals were taken away without question and replaced within 10 minutes and the new steak was cooked perfectly mistakes can happen and this was dealt with professionally and timely price of steak was removed from the bill by waiting staff excellent service in a difficult situation putting the customer first

Excellent food and efficient friendly service plus a really good choice of gluten free. We've been four times now and it's our favourite restaurant in Shrewsbury.

Excellent service and the staff very helpful. The standard of the food was extremely high and served in a most professional fashion. Have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to my friends.

Very nice, comfortable atmosphere and pleasant staff. as usual. Quiet and we appreciate the lack of music. Vegetables in the goat's cheese salad rather undercooked, despite being described as roasted. Table service was not quite as friendly and attentive as we are used to.

Food was excellent ! Service was poor, no ice bucket for wine until we had nearly finished main meal. Dirty glasses very slow to bring clean ones !! Staff seem like startled rabbits at times. Bottled beers were warm. Watch out for 12.5% service charge added to bill !!! Better restaurants in Shrewsbury.

We had a lovely meal and the device was great. The only negative was they didn't have any ice for the wine cooler when we arrived. This was resolved quickly. Will definitely go back.

Great food and warm attentive service. The two or three-course menu up to 7 pm offers good choice and is excellent value. Lively atmosphere but not over the top.

On this occasion, we found the service too intrusive. Still loved the food and the overall ambience. Has not put us off our fave restaurant.

Good food, friendly service but overpriced @ £10.95 for a salad. I asked for extra dressing which was nicely served in a small jug. Had to ask three times for the bill. Not sure I would go back in a hurry, plenty of other individual restaurants in Shrewsbury to choose from.

Great service. The staff were really helpful and looked after us when it poured down with rain. Outside heaters were really warm too. Lovely food

Very atmospheric restaurant with great menu.Food was really tasty and great chioce. Wine list was well varied. Would definitely go again and recommend to others.

My daughter and I had a wonderful meal, Daniel was our waiter and was very attentive. My daughter had the chicken with garlic sauce and I had the cod goujons, both were very tasty. We finished off with Berries with a white chocolate sauce and I had ice cream with hot chocolate sauce. Will certainly book to go again

Very noisy (Hen Party!!) an hour between starter and main course definitely tailing off from when it first opened in April which is a pity.

Attentive service, good food and a great Location. Highly recommended for lunch - dinner worth trying on another occasion. We'll definitely return to explore more of the extensive menu.

the staff were very attentive but the food from the evening menu was disappointing. We much prefered the Monday to Friday lunch time menu which was delicious.

After having a bad experience on the first visit we returned to have a lovely meal which was good value. The restaurant was very busy but the service was excellent.

We love Cote, exciting food and exceptional service. With a wonderful location looking out onto Shrewsbury's Medieval Town Square, we love to sit outside and watch the world go by
