Very Good. Staff excellent and the food was good for a chain restaurant. Clean and tidy especially the toilets. No one gets maximum marks there's always room to improve.

Great service and tasty food. It was the first visit for our friends and they were very impressed and said they would definitely go again.

Booked table on line without any problems Being a Saturday evening the restaurant was very busy but we were welcomed and served in no time at all. Enjoyed a lovely meal and the food and service was excellent.

Cote Brasserie is consistently good quality food and service. Good atmosphere too! Location is very central. Varied menu great choices catering for all tastes. The wine is also good.

Always enjoy Cote; food consistently good, but service is not great given they charge 12.5% Service charge (optional but on bill). More effort is needed for staff to do things like pour wine and check all is OK.

As usual fantastic service with lovely menus and just a great place to eat. The menus change every month depending on the seasons so plenty of variety.

We enjoyed a delicious 3 course Sunday lunch from the a la carte menu, gorgeous wines and extremely good service, attentive but not intrusive and a very reasonable vill at the end.

Very friendly staff, good specials for October, requested a booth and was given one, French onion soup as you would expect was excellent and a great place to eat with no loud mui

The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, food was amazing the atmosphere was fabulous. The restaurant itself is something a little bit special without being pretentious in any way. So good, I've already been again since!

Had an enjoyable evening with old friends in Côte Shrewsbury last night, Wednesday 10 October. The menu had slightly changed since our last visit but was up to the usual high standard and staff as always were pleasant and efficient

We had a wonderful meal. The staff were lovely and very attentive to our needs. Highly recommend it and will certainly be going again. Our 14 year old grandson was very impressed.

As always a really lovely meal great service with a smile thank you. We loved the sociable round table as there were 6 of us, we are never disappointed.

Usual excellent service at Cote. Helpful and welcoming staff. Good food from a comprehensive menu with plenty of choice for vegetarians. Still well ahead of the game in Shrewsbury. Very reasonable prices. Commendable for absence of background music.

Did not have the dish I wanted, or the pudding. I went specially for this and they had ran out on a Saturday night. Very disappointing. Also ran out of starter items!

My rib eye steak was a little too rare and there was too much fat and gristle in it. However, I accept that steaks can be unpredictable as to their content and it was very tasty.

We had a lovely breakfast, the atmosphere is lovely and laid back and we always receive excellent service from all of the staff at Cote

Warm welcome and made to feel comfortable. Service was very good with friendly people personable staff. Need to learn how to pour wine properly. Very good food but our mains can from the kitchen too early do not quite as hot as it should have been. We loved the ambience and we’ll be back.

Steaks were supposed to be served pink, they were overcooked Completely forgot about one of the deserts that was ordered, had to be reminded and then delayed our exit to the theatre.

I am presuming that 5 is a good score. It would have been better to just say rate yout vusit 1to 6 with 1 being very poor to 6 being very good. I also didn't want to waste my precious time writing a review when I had given you a score of 5 (which I presume is good)

Fifth visit and all five have been excellent. Shania helpful and attentive, food all excellent and original. Wine also very good. We will be back!

We all enjoyed this meal, the food was of a good quality and well cooked. All of the staff were very attentive and friendly so it made it a great start to a night out.

It was our 29th wedding anniversary and we had a wonderful time celebrating with a late lunch. Fillet steak with porcini sauce helped down with a bottle of champagne. Staff were amazing and really helped in making our day!

As always, excellent service and delicious food. Our friends from the USA were very impressed with Cote and said it was the best meal they had had during their visit to the U.K.

A really enjoyable evening. The food, service and atmosphere were excellent. The thoughtful and attentive service of the staff was wonderful, taking note and complying with our requests both in advance and at the meal and even dealing swiftly and efficiently with an upset glass of water. The noise level was not nearly as high as it can be at Shrewsbury, but it was Sunday evening.

All the staff were really friendly and professional. The food was brilliant. Great atmosphere and good price. Steak cooked perfectly! Great night out with friends

Fantastic meal at Cote in Shrewsbury last night! Waiter was excellent, helpful and gave us 10/10 service. Loved my Happy Birthday touches from the staff, thank you! Will certainly return.

Beware of the optional gratuity which is charged at 12.5% we didn't notice ir and certainly would not have paid it. Four of the main courses were served and then we had to wait for several minutes until part of one meal and the 6th meal was served.

Pleasant helpful staff, good service and varied menu choices. Appreciated the early evening pre-theatre menu too. Very good location too. Service included in bill which perhaps should be specifically pointed out to customers

We ordered the tuna and sirloin steaks My wife’s tuna was perfect where mine was not as it was tough. When we were asked about our meals the front of house and chef had spoken and had proactively spotted a trend of the batch of steaks to which without promoting offered to upgrade to fillet at no extra charge, also by way of further apology asked if we would have another round of drinks on the house. It is so good to see an organisation that empowers its staff to make quality decisions and so without any shadow of doubt we’ll both be returning and return business is good business. The restaurant is spacious, yet welcoming. The staff are excellent, especially Matt, and the food good. The tables were well set up and the seats comfortable. We went there twice in three days and will return. Thank you.

As usual the meals were excellent. The only reason We don't give full marks is that the service was slower than usual, not bad, just not as snappy as it used to be. Don't let this put you off going!

Excellent meal and service , very good wine selection , best place in Shrewsbury for a relaxing in an informal but smart environment , thoroughly recommend it
