The best table service in town, always so consistently good with the food and such a calming atmosphere inside, the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning!

Great food and great service. Although my son’s and my steak came in as medium rare instead of medium well, it is not necessarily the restaurant‘a problem. It’s probably just misunderstanding. More importantly, the manager immediately addressed and rectified the situation. In addition, she offered to buy us all the drinks we ordered. We very much enjoy the whole experience, food is fantastic, and environment is very comfortable. Will go back again every time when I am in town.

I would have liked to have seen the tables disinfected in between clients I did see them use a cloth without a sanitiser spray

Originally telephoned to book but answer phone asking t leave a message and they would get back to me.Nothing happened so went on line and booked.Was told today you do not have anybody available to respond by phone so why don’t you change the message ASAP to save frustration. Meal ordered for four people but were still waiting c.30 mins later,staff apologised. Food good and pleasant staff as usual.

Restaurant was clean and surroundings pleasant. Staff friendly and professional. Food very good at a very reasonable price (desserts expensive) but aren't they always! I would happily dine there again.

We have eaten at Cote Brasserie Shrewsbury previously and have been very happy with the experience. We had booked as a special meal as part of a daytrip to Shrewsbury. This time we were not as happy. There was no hot water in the male or female toilets , which is of concern given Covid. The toilets were unattended, no loo roll etc. Our waiter made unnecessary comments when asked for a longer black coffee and described our request as being "poison". So not really that great an experience,

The service was excellent and I was very impressed by the gazpacho and steaks.

Went for birthday meal there was a few wines and foods that were off the menu and instead of offering a alternative we had to go more exspencive 😏 food was very good tho too full for a pudding and wine was very exspencive unfortunately as the lower price wine was out of stock but would go back

Our first visit visit since the Shrewsbury branch reopened and we were not disappointed! Despite the fact it was very busy (the last day of Eat Out to Help Out) the service and food quality were the high standards we expect. Oh the joy of having Breton chicken & Coupe Noir again. They even made time to make me feel special (it was my birthday).

We visited the shrewsbury branch and really enjoyed sitting outside in the new seating area. Our food was very tasty, excellent value and fast service.

Don't like the "discretionary" service charge added to the bill. Otherwise food and service very good.

Shame the menu was so depleted, almost non existent, one should plan ahead? Especially as everyone was pre-booked. Very disappointed. Food was very salty. Serving staff were very helpful and apologetic. Two complimentary cups of tea did not make up for the lack of choice in starters, mains and deserts!!

Charged us for bread That was not delivered, slow and poor service (excluding covid benefit of the doubt), food was overcooked but not awful. overall for the price, quite a poor experience.

Although we had booked a table for 8.15 it was net ready when we arrived. We were greeted and apologised too and offered a complimentary drink whilst we waited. We had to sit outside it was chilly and soon found us wanting to go back inside as it was too cold. When we got to out table out waiter was delightful and helped us choose food and wine. Food was great tasty and well seasoned Fish Parimentier and cheese burger with bacon and and bottle of house white wine Lagarda I think it was called which was lovely. Thank you Cote. We will be back

Has a lovely evening and glad to see Cote open again. Very friendly staff with a bit of banter in there too. Only marked down because of an automatic service charge added to the bill, otherwise a great night.

Great meal. Fast service. Staff very attentive and professional. Only one niggle I don’t like the practice of adding a service charge to the bill, it is optional but I prefer to tip as I feel necessary!

As chain restaurants go its top of the tree. Will go again

Excellent food and service. Waiter was polite and helpful during an exceptionally busy time, not easy whilst having to wear a face mask during this time of pandemic. Myself and my partner will be visiting as often as we can. Thank you.

Thank heavens for Cote in Shrewsbury . We have eaten there several times since they re-opened and it has been a lovely experience every time . The staff are unfailingly friendly and professional, the food is lovely and the new continental style eating outside has been blissful. I have had the sea bream main course five times recently and it has been perfect every time. The Provence Rose is great value and a perfect summer wine. Well done Cote !! you get 6 stars from us on every count! Tim and Keeley

Excellent food and brilliant attentive service. We sat in the courtyard with heaters and blankets were provided. Food was prepared with skill and obviously good quality produce. The service was efficient and friendly. Will definitely come again.
