Staff gracious and attentive as always. It was like being back at ‘old’ Cote. Sure measures were in place and staff wore masks but it didn’t spoil the experience .

We are BIG fans of Cote Shrewsbury, always had great food and service. However, today both myself and my wife were served chicken that was on the pink side of done, not good. To your credit, the staff dealt with our concerns brilliantly and we left happy. But bloody undercooked chicken is not good, ever.

Our first lunch at Cote Brasserie since lockdown and it was as pleasant an experience as ever which was especially pleasing as it was on the occasion of a special anniversary The lamb was very tender and the goujons and skinny chips more than generous. We just about had room for the desserts of chocolate fondant and lemon sorbet which were delicious. Highly recommend.

Lovely meal as always. Birthday lunch for my daughter so booked a booth, felt safe and tucked away in the booth. Lunch was boef bourginion, pork belly and a steak which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Presented well and tasted delicious. Desserts were praline crepe & chocolate fondant, all plates cleaned as desserts delicious. Staff attentive, pleasant and welcoming as usual (eat here approx once a month). Can honestly say we have never had a bad meal or bad service at Cote Shrewsbury, it’s our go to place for a special treat!

We usually choose a different restaurant everytime we have an evening out but will definitely be back next time. If you haven’t been you are missing out. Food was delicious, service lovely. Very compliant with social distancing so felt safe, despite being a busy evening. Single caveat is the waiter didn't know which wine to suggest for my main course (half chargrilled poulet with mushroom sauce), although he was otherwise good and deserved the service charge.

As always a lovely meal & great service. Of all the places we have eaten out at since the lockdown, this is the one we feel safest at. The staff still manage to make you feel extremely well looked after.

A delicious meal as usual, with attentive but not intrusive service. The overall atmosphere in the restaurant was as 'buzzy' as always despite the Covid restrictions. Our lunch was made all the more special as we took advantage of the offer to members of The Times subscription programme for a bottle of Blanc de Blancs. All in all life felt almost normal! We were made to feel welcome by very friendly staff. I ordered a glass of the cheapest white wine (!) which turned out to be utterly delicious. I ate the vegetarian ravioli, which was exquisite. Very full of flavour and not in the slightest dry, as can so often be the case. The desserts are not cheap, but they are most certainly worth paying for. Overall a great experience which I look forward to repeating soon.

Our main courses were delivered to the table before we had chance to finish our starter olives and bread. The kitchen should not have sent it out so quickly and we could not turn away the food (and leave it sat under a lamp somewhere!!) therefore the whole meal felt rushed. It was like you just wanted us to eat and leave so that you could re-use the table. I marked down the waiting times for being far to quick and I marked down the service due to the kitchen and not the waiters.
