beautiful food. lovely restaurant Quite a bit of a wait for our food during a reasonably quiet lunch time.

The menu had a good variety of choices and the food was lovely. Great service and a really friendly atmosphere - would highly recommend it and will definitely return.

Food was amazing and staff very friendly and attentive. The starters are rather large so maybe share one. It is quite noisy as they have too many tables in the place and they are quite close together. Nethertheless it was a lovely place. Kist watch the 12.5% service charge it is a bit cheeky we paid it but you may want to give less tip

Nice venue and good service. The lunchtime menu offers good value for money. The main menu would be improved if more fresh vegetables were included in the meal.

The October menu is great and excellent value for money. Excellent service, pleasant atmosphere, softish background music and comfortable seating. Staff are very attentive and cheerful.

Lovely venue and enjoyable food. Service a little on the slow side but I will definitely return. The manager kindly offered a free coffee to compensate for the inconvenience of the fire drill.

Three friends enjoyed a pleasant, leisurely lunch at Cote today. The service was professional, efficient and friendly, the food excellent, menu varied and reasonably priced on the two course menu. I would rate this restaurant as five star and easily equal to a dining experience in France.

We had a great evening at Cotes Brasserie Shrewsbury. The food was lovely and the service was excellent. Will definitely be returning here again in the future

Good quality food with excellent service and staff are friendly and welcoming. Struggled to find a light salad starter but otherwise menu options were varied and interesting.

Good food and drink, friendly service, none of the delays experienced when the restaurant was newly opened. Their sourdough bread is worth going for alone.

As always, the food at Cote Shrewsbury was excellent and the staff charming. It’s also good value , the early doors menu especially so. And, of course, the restaurant has the most fantastic position in the town square. Can’t go wrong!

Excellent breakfast menu with exemplary service! The staff were friendly and couldn’t be more obliging with any substitutions or requests. The food was well prepared, served quickly and hot plentiful.

The food was excellent, and great menu choices, the service was slow, but the place was extremely busy, and the waitress did apologise. Would definitely return.

Service was very good. Steaks, unfortunately, were over cooked. Were offered replacements but didn’t have time to wait. Would come back because service was excellent.

Not as good as my first visit. I took a friend as I had raved about the restaurant. Our mains were a let down, my friends Lamb arrived, she asked for medium rare and it arrived rare. My chicken was burnt. The manager was really good he took the drinks off our bill, the staff are all really nice, and the Restaurant is lovely. I will go again it is new and these things can be put right.

As always a brilliant evening spent at Côte. Greeted on arrival and promptly shown our seats. From then on in the service was brilliant and so was the quality of the food. Can’t fault muc about this place. 4th visit

We asked for vinegar with our frittes but it never arrived and we waited a while with the desert menu . Service not as good as last time

We dine at Cote Shrewsbury on a regular basis and have never had cause for complaint. The Brasserie serves excellent food at very reasonable prices in a very convivial atmosphere. Most people dress up to dine here and that gives it that extra appeal

food very good value for money and fresh ingredients. to be honest service could have been better we were asked far too many times if everything was okay , believe me if it hadn't been we would have said all these questions interrupted our lunch time conversation , we were not informed about the service charge when the bill was presented but had been forewarned....we did leave a tip of our own choosing.

1 of the 5 meals was disappointing, however the staff were excellent when this was raised with them and assured us they would speak with supplier. General service and ambience was excellent

Good food, excellent service and ambiance so would recommend strongly. One niggle....in company with many restaurants.....trying to pay is frustrating. When the meal is done ,people mostly want to get on with their busy lives and firstly they have to get someones`s attention to request the bill then do it all over again to pay it which can be frustrating especially at lunchtime. The 12.5% service charge automatically added to the bill is a good idea as well as the note that staff receive all gratuities....well done .

A really pleasant experience overall. The standard of service was excellent and the food was as expected also excellent. The complimentary bottle of wine also added to the feel good factor.

Beautiful food, excellent service, lovely restaurant setting. I had the duck in cherry sauce it was gorgeous and finished with a praline and banana crepe defiantly recommend and will certainly be returning

The staff and service was excellent and the food was also. If I have one suggestion it would be to alter the make up of the golden beetroot starter. This was an excellent concept beautifully presented but the vinegar is over powering, needs a rethink from the exec chef.

Customer service excellent made up for some problems in the kitchen. Once rectified, the food was very good and the atmosphere very warm and friendly. Very good wine.

We booked a mid-week lunch to celebrate my husband's birthday. The set menu was good value and offered a varied selection. The staff were friendly, good service, delicious food.

Very friendly service. Good food. Had free bottle of wine included with meal which was a very nice merlot. It was busy and had a good atmosphere

The online menu was quite different to the one offered at the restaurant. While we were able to choose dishes that suited us the choice was much more limited - so a little disappointed!

Can't fault the food or the service. Staff were friendly and attentive. The only negative was the 12.5% voluntary service charge which added £17 to our bill! We advised the waiter that we were not prepared to pay all the service but left approx 10% which I think is about right

Only reason for not having top marks is because my main menu was not available. The replacement was still good just not what I wanted, service and staff excellent

Fantastic meal. Staff service was excellent. Food was lovely quality & presentation. The menu was varied, with something for everyone, and there is a fantastic value menu offered before 7pm. Decor and ambiance is great. Well worth a visit.
