Easy to book online. Lovely warm welcoming restaurant with great food and serves breakfast until early afternoon at the weekend, which is prefect combined with a lie in!

Very attentive staff, helpful, and answered questions regarding items on the menu. Food was excellent, perfectly cooked, well presented. Staffer did not try to rush us during, or following the meal. All in all, a fantastic place, great service, and somewhere we will definitely visit again.

Another great lunch experienced! As usual great value and very tasty. We both went for the poulet rôti which was just the ticket washed down with a few glasses of fizz!

We had excellent food and great service with a very attentive polite waiter. Good atmosphere with comfortable seating not too close to the next table.

Service was excellent, one main course not good the steak was tough but was replaced with an alternative at no cost with no problems or quibbles.

Good experience as always . pity that sea bass was off menu ,but substitute haddock was good.Undercooked to start for my taste ,but sending back not a problem - dealt with in a professional manner.

Food (onion soup starter, beef bourguignon main, raspberry crepe brûlée sweet) all very tasty and good portions. Quite expensive though and vegetables are charged extra. Excellent, friendly service from waiting staff. Nice ambience in restaurant. I would definitely go again.

A very pleasant restaurant, with attentive staff, a good menu selection served with decent sized portions. Vegetables are served on the "under done " side" recommend a request to cook to your own choice. Would hope to enjoy another meal there soon.

We originally booked for a table of Four. When we arrived, we heard some friends were in the area so asked them if they wanted to join us. We asked staff if it was possible to change to a table for Eight and this was no problem for staff. They soon had us moved to a bigger table. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and good value for money. The atmosphere was pleasant.

Starter was disappointing but main course was excellent. Service was good but ruined by the service charge automatically added to the bill. We asked for it to be removed and then gave the waitress some cash for a tip.

Staff we're very pleasant without being pushy. Food was excellent I had February special lamb shank which fell away from the bone and was very tender

It was a fantastic meal and the service was of a very high standard. Our starters were excellent , we had smoked salmon and pate . Presentation of all the dishes were amazing . Overall we had a lovely evening.

No complaints about the quality of the food but service was disappointing. Not that busy at the time we booked for and plenty of waiting on staff but they need to be more attentive. Had to keep trying to get attention to order bread, remind about bread, get menus for deserts, order deserts and get bill. 12.5% service charge is added on automatically which is a growing trend I don’t approve of. It is awkward to ask for it to be removed if you feel the charge isn’t justified - which on this occasion it wasn’t, so I did ask for it to be taken off. Shame, nice decor, good food, value for money but let down by service.

Service was great, the food (seabass and duck for mains) was very good, good atmosphere. Though a chain, it was like a posher Café Rouge. Booked online which was great. Really busy on the Saturday we went so book in advance.

Apart from the temperature of the restaurant being too warm (it was full) we had a great experience. The service was very good and the food very much enjoyed by all.

Not authentically French, the waitress didn't know that snails were a delicacy, nor how to say happy birthday in French. The food was lovely though, but really expensive, and vegetables to accompany the meal were extra. My pudding was tough and chewy but this was refunded.

Delicious food, ample portions and friendly service, as always. Particularly impressed with the care taken with food preparation for our gluten free members of the party.

Hadn’t been before the restaurant was recommended by my grown up children. The food that I had was really good. Had to have three courses! The atmosphere was good as was the service.

Excellent value early evening menu, 3 courses for £13.50. Everything well cooked and tasty, with attentive service. Will definitely be making this a regular stop.

A group of 7 of us had the early evening menu before going to the cinema. Service was efficient without seeming rushed. Good portions of really good food for the price. Would highly recommend.
