Very good service and food. They took notice of my request for space for a pram. Only draw back was the £8.68 service charge on our lunch.......

Food and service was excellent. Some diners a little noisy which detracted from the enjoyment. However, perhaps they thought we were a little too quiet!

As usual very friendly staff and good value food, a girly lunch . We always enjoy the atmosphere and the service. Will definitely be back.

After an untypically mediocre experience on our last visit, today's lunch was excellent in every respect with our waiter singled out for particular praise on the way in which an inconsequential error in one order was dealt with.

Attentive service. Sensible courteous manager. Goodand well presented food . Attractive surroundings . Good choice of menus , with varying set meal choices . Adequate selection of wines.

Service was awful. Waited to be served. Waited for drinks........and was advised that food would be " an extra few minutes" !! Table wasn't cleared..........maybe staff shortage was the problem.

Excellent meal. A bit of a wait but not a big issue Been to the Liverpool one lots of times so we rate Cote highly.

Overall a very pleasant experience, attentive very pleasant staff, good well presented food, my salmon was a tad over cooked, not worth complaining about, the creme caramel was the best I haveever eaten and having been in the food business form28 years, I know what I am talking about!

Short staffed, so slow service, undercooked fries, dirty cutlery, very average steak, beers semi-cold. A big level below carluccios next door. Not much else to say.

Never had a bad meal, never had bad service. Comfortable seating which for me with Fibromyalgia and Adrenal Fatigue is paramount! The restaurant is at a comfortable temperature and the friends I was with were utterly amazed at the whole experience. We will return no doubt. One of the best pre-theatre menus ever!

Excellent food and service as always. I would not hesitate in recommending Cote to anybody who wanted to go out for a decent meal in Shrewsbury.

I booked my table on line and my requirements were catered for ( Table for three but with room for my mobility scooter near to a window) Excellent service by kindly waitress .....a very pleasant dining yexperience

From the greeting at the door, the service was warm and friendly as usual and the food was up to its usual high standard. Really good value for money as well.

Very enjoyable. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I will certainly re-visit and will recommend it to my friends. Of course the food was most enjoyable.

Great place however a bit of a wait for the starters/main meals. Vegetarian menu does not seem to change much and not the best menu.

I like coming here with anyone - partner or friends. Staff work very hard to make you comfy and relaxed, and the atmosphere is good both lunchtime and in the evening. Food I like too!

An early evening meal with two friends on a Wednesday.Greeted at door and shown to table. Waitress took time to explain menus and couple of dishes that were not available. With three menus to chose from plenty of choice. A bit of a wait considering restaurant was very quiet no doubt due to the football. However it was worth the wait as food served was piping hot and served on a nice hot plate too! Delicious ! We had 2 courses each and all plates cleared .Definately one to be recommended.

Very good food at a reasonable price. Great idea to have two set menus, which are available all day and evening. Service generally good - but one or two inexperienced staff, who are clearly learning the ropes. I do hope they will maintain this standard into the future!

This was our second visit to this establishment, but not a stranger to the Cote experience. Ambience, service and food all to perfection!!! Looking forward to our next visit.

Entertaining a friend down from Scotland we all had a look at the à la carte menu but in the end we all went for the set menu along with a bottle of House Red. The whole meal was first class and the wine delightful - one of the nicest meals we have had in any of the fine restaurants in Shrewsbury and exceptionally good value. Many thanks to all the staff.

Always enjoyable and food usually of a good standard so tend to go there a lot. Deals are good value for money. Service usually very good

It was a lovely evening and everyone enjoyed their meal. A great place to celebrate an occasion as great food every time. Staff are very pleasant too.

Having not been to Cote before we were not sure what to expect There are lots of places to eat in Shrewsbury, but we choose Cote because of the reviews on trip advisor. We were not disappointed. Lovely restaurant, staff were very attentive but not pushy. The food was simple French style but delicious. We will return on another visit to Shrewsbury.

Visited Shrewsbury for 2 nights - supper in Cote first night - food very good as always - staff lovely. Went back following night for a glass of fizzy wine. Thanks very much.

Lovely meal, very good service. My husband dropped his fork and before he had even had the chance to lean over to pick it up the waiter was there with a fresh fork, not bad.

Unusually slow service for Cote given the restaurant was nearly empty. No fault with the food which was up to its normal high standard. I suggest you desist from telling your customers on the menus there will be a 12.5% service charge. Its not welcome and smacks of greed.

A late booking for a group of eight. Happily accommodated, service was very good and as always food was to a high standard. One of our favourites

The staff were most attentive and efficient. My husband particularly enjoyed his moules mariniere. Air conditioning was a huge bonus on a very hot evening.

Went for a birthday celebration. The Food was delicious and service exceptional! The pork belly and Rib eye steak cooked to perfection and the creme caramel the best I have ever had....and I fancy myself an expert! They made a real effort to make sure the evening was special. Thank you!!

First class again! we both chose the Sea Bass fillets with Fennel and a beurre blanc sauce the fish was lovely and moist, we will definitely return.

We arrived early and were asked to choose a table. The service was totally professional throughout and the food was very well prepared and presented. The staff were friendly and the restaurant decor was pleasant. Our free bottle of wine was given to us as soon as we were seated and the whole experience was excellent.

Lovely meal and service, but I do feel service charge should not be added on automatically. It’s up to the diner to decide if service good enough for top. I feel it should be left to diners to do themselves.12.5% tip is a lot for UK diners, 10% would be more satisfactory

Booked a table for 6 people for a Saturday evening birthday meal with friends. Excellent food, plenty of interesting, tasty choices at reasonable prices. Excellent service.

We went here for my mums birthday and it was absolutely lovely. The staff were really friendly, the food was incredible, the atmosphere was beautiful. Loved it

We went to Cote last night to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, as always the service, food and surroundings are excellent, never disappointed, so nice to go out and have a treat sometimes.

Great food in the beautiful old town square Shrewsbury. Excellent service and friendly staff. Good selection of wines and beers. Can recommend the fish dishes especially.

Great meal as always. Sea bass is lovely. Make sure to save some room for the dessert. Lemon tart is amazing. Service is also very good
