Always excellent food, whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner. Service always excellent as well.

It was very busy yesterday as it was Mother’s Day but the service was excellent and the food superb. Well done to the staff for always smiling.

All lovely, would like more of a menu change as we go quite often and lunch menu doesn’t vary enough

Unfortunately there was a very noisy, unhappy baby on a table near-by, but the food and service were super as always ;-)

We had the same selection enjoyed at Cote Chester on the previous Friday which was excellent - Sadly Shrewsbury starter of mussels fell well short of my expectations - A dish of near empty shells and few lardons and rather tastless - Having said that the pan fried salmon was was good.

Hmmm. Spoilt by poor service and then had cheek to put and extra 12% on as gratuity. Whole evening was spoilt by being rushed and only part of meal being delivered to table with toast for Salmon never arriving at all. We received two free coffees, a portion of olives and bread as compensation, all of which would have been less than the 12% automatically added to the bill. Oh well that’s one resturant crossed off our list.

Both of us enjoyed the meal with a level of service that is second to none in the town. The 2 course and 3 course set menu is great value for money.

Great food and great service will definitely be back for more!

Great food including the onion soup which is my favourite followed by some of the nicest and juiciest chicken had in a long while Just service was a little slow but it is a French restaurant ha ha

I had the vegetarian breakfast and as always it was delicious. My husband ordered a bacon baguette and a Bloody Mary to drink - everything was delicious.

Great quality food and super service. Spotlessly clean this restaurant appeals to all ages. Excellent menu choices including vegetarian options with good Selection of wines

Another visit to one of our favourite restaurants in town. Food and service good albeit it was a quiet day so lacking in a little atmosphere

Excellent full English breakfast with great service. The vegetarian breakfast is also very good. All extremely good value for money as when you order the formule it includes toast, coffee and juice as well.

We eat breakfast in Cote Brassiere quite often, as always it was a good experience with great service and delicious food. Service is never too slow or too rushed - just right.

Had a really good meal here on our anniversary .. great value .. we ordered from the pre theatre menu ..service was very efficient and staff were friendly polite and made you feel very welcome .. would highly recommend to anyone who wants to visit

Food good but service poor given they add service charge. Realise it’s optional but not good to add to bill before customer makes own choice

First class food and service, will be happy to visit again. A party of five of us and we all felt our choices were of a good standard although I always find it irritating to feel the need to order additional vegetables.

A great breakfast with exceptionally nice, very efficient staff. As always we really enjoyed the experience. We think it is the one of the best breakfasts around. Thanks.

Meals and service were very good, unfortunately there was a group of middle aged women cackling and laughing loudly so much so that we asked to be moved to another table.

Had a superb meal .the food is excellent . the staff are really nice and make you feel very welcome.. just one small downside the service charge they add to your bill but it's fine it's not obligatory so we just paid for our food and drinks and gave our own tip .. would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit .

Good food from the prestige set menu. The pork belly with Savoy cabbage was a very tasty dish. The service at the restaurant was excellent throughout the visit.

Not as good as usual. The staff were not as as attentive. The starters were luke warm. We were squeezed in on a table very close to the other diners. Would not return to this branch of Cote.

The attention and service from the staff was excellent. The food was cooked to our liking and was very tasty. The menu is extensive with a wide selection of various types of food. My only complaint was I thought the price of soft drinks was excessive.

We go to Cotes as it is a big favourite for breakfast. Gluten free menu and service is excellent and trustworthy - VERY important to me and the staff are always welcoming, polite and attentive.

Overall another lovely time at Côte. Very busy so a lively atmosphere. Let down by a dry cassoulet but it was taken off the bill, so full marks for customer service!

We were very happy with the food and staff were polite and helpful, but service was very slow, which we have also experienced on previous visits. However, we like the atmosphere and the menu is very varied.

Really disappointed with our meal, it was just a pile of lentils with a couple of mushrooms. Also be prepared to spend a lot- £9 for a glass of wine!

Excellent meal. Service good. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Always go there if eating out in Shrewsbury. One of the best in the town. Recommend you try it

Took some friends here as they came over from Lincoln for Christmas to visit the food was lovely and we had great service, can always count on Côte that’s why we decided to bring them here.

Another lovely meal at Cote restaurant. The staff are always very attentive and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. We both opted for the loin of Cod served with lentils, beautifully cooked Cod.

Fifth or sixth time we've been, for different occasions and different sized parties and are yet to be disappointed. Good food, lively atmosphere and excellent food.

We had a lovely welcome and asked which table we would like to sit at, we chose to sit in the window. Service and food was excellent but there again it always is. I had a very enjoyable lunch with my friend.

Fab food and fab service, highly recommended. Food was delicious and well cooked, and our waitress was kind and was happy to help when it was needed!

Yet another fabulous lunch at Cote! We both choose from the a la cartel menu the Rib Eye Steak and Loin of Cod with lentils with both amazing. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff

Meal was very nice, looked very nice on plate, but no one likes waiting ages for next course, it's Christmas time, so restaurant busy, so please get more staff, this always lets Restaurants down😡

No matter how busy the restaurant we always get great friendly and professional service. There is an excellent selection of food which is consistently well presented and cooked

second visit can't wait , great place and delicious food highly recommend so next time you get the chance give it a go for sure

Try the Beef Bourguignon or the Cassoulet de Toulouse. Both were warming and perfect for the winter menu. We ate just before going to the Old Market Hall cinema, 30 seconds walk away!

Lovely food as always with great service the lunch time menu is such good value and changes regularly. Will definitely be visiting again very soon.

The atmosphere and staff are delightful. However on this occasion I was a little disappointed with my meal although my husband's cod was lovely. I ordered the duck which I have had several time before, but on this occasion, I felt that it had been cooked earlier and it was not at all juicy - in fact it although it was pink, was rather dry and only mildly warm. It still tasted nice so I didn't feel that I could return it, plus we needed to go back home. Hopefully all will be well next time we visit.

Enjoyable meeting place with friends for pre Christmas meal. Food was pleasant apart from the risotto which was a bit gloopy. Lemon tart and chocolate mousse were delicious. Didn't feel rushed

Consistently high standards of food and service. Regular changes to the menu mean that there is always something new to savour. The atmosphere is very welcoming.

As always, lovely food, beautiful wine and friendly, efficient, professional service. Lovely to watch Christmas shoppers through the window. Such a good venue for pre-theatre meal. Will be back soon!

Good atmosphere and decor; - warm, comfortable seating and not too dark. Friendly cheerful helpful staff; who greeted us at the door and opened the door. To say goodbye at the end. Good food and reasonable prices!

Pleasant staff , nice atmosphere highly recommended we always eat at cote's restruants and we are never disapointed. The meal was lovely and the set menu is very good value for money

Very good service, waiter was very efficient. Table was a bit of a cramp as at the back in corner. Friends risotto was very bland, but overall a lovely experience
