Very attentive and co-operative staff Good food and drink, very enjoyable.

The consistently high quality of food and service keeps us returning to cote in Shrewsbury again and again. The calm, welcoming atmosphere can be an island of civilized tranquillity in the storm of daily living.

A complimentary Kir Royale to celebrate my Birthday with a girlfriend. And to add to this, a chocolate decorated Happy Birthday plate for my dessert. All brought to me with a sweetly sung verse of Happy Birthday by Roxana. Thank you for a lovely meal as always. Consistently brilliant. Philippa x

Food always good staff good but service on things like wine non existent. For service charge should be a bit better

Cote Shrewsbury is by far our favourite restaurant and we try to get there as often as time allows. Today was special for us as it's our 51st wedding anniversary; we were child brides! The Manager really looked after us, which we appreciated. Drink, food, service and atmosphere were, as ever, outstanding. Can't wait to go back! Thank you Cote Shrewsbury, you're bloody marvellous, keep it up!

Pre theatre meal for four. We all ate from the set menu. Really good value and choice. Very acceptable bottle of house red. Booked for 5.45pm, service quick and efficient, 2 courses and coffee later and we were at Severn theatre just after 7pm. Bottled beer a bit expensive for small bottles.

Excellent food and drink. Served in a lovely restaurant, with lovely atmosphere.

We visited on Monday evening so the restaurant was reasonably quiet, no big party crowds, just people like us out to enjoy a quiet meal so it was great. We have been before and the staff and food are always exceptional. This is the first time I have booked online, easy peasy! Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Food and staff very good. Very minor complaint that the pork tenderloin was stated to be pink but was very slightly overdue.

Cote is our favourite restaurant in Shrewsbury and we love it!

Willingness to accommodate our oddities (my son only had 40mns spare before his next academic tuition), welcomed attention to detail and --more importantly for me -- understanding you do not pre-judge customers on the basis of them wearing hoodies. As for the food: there are very few other places I would recommend in Shrewsbury for a quality meal, this one tops the bill. And I am French, so I know :-)

We had a marvelous evening tonight (8 September). Lovely, friendly and efficient staff - a credit to the organisation! And terrific food also - great kitchen and chef!

As an occasional visitor to Shrewsbury we usually have at least one meal at Cote. We have always enjoyed our times at Cote and this was no exception. A free Lillet Rose Martini was an excellent aperitif. As a starter the anchovy pissaladiere was tasty and ample to share. Salmon with ratatouille was perfectly cooked as was my husband's fish parmentier. Staff welcoming, friendly and efficient. We won't hesitate to return.

Very nice experience. My first time. I liked the look of the place, the staff were excellent and the food very good. We chose it because we had two Vegans in the party and there was an extensive Vegetarian option but with a very limited range of Vegan dishes. I think that will need improving with the way things are going. My local Marstons pub has a better Vegan selection. But I am a meat eater as is my wife and the Belly Pork and Duck were really good.

Always enjoy the goat cheese starter, but there’s plenty of good starter available, if that’s not you taste. Fish dishes are light and flavoursome , which I like.

Went to Cotes Shrewsbury for brunch to celebrate a birthday. It was lovely, the food was excellent as always.

Anniversary meal with the family on Friday evening we chose from the August specialso menu and it was superb The staff as always were very friendly and we had wonderful service.
