Booked a table today taking advantage of the complementary bottle of wine Checked bill at home afterward only to find the the wine had been added to the bill This is very unprofessional on the part of the staff at Cote and I will have to think hard before visiting that restaurant again

My favourite restaurant in Shrewsbury so was delighted as usual. Friendly staff, great environment and wonderful food, honestly, what’s not to like. I commented adversely some time ago that as a French influenced restaurant waiting staff should use bon appétit rather than Enjoy. It changed for a while however, this visit showed we’re back to Enjoy. Shame, it really doesn’t fit the style of such a great place.

Visit this restaurant frequently with elderly parents... food is always great, service is very efficient, friendly and helpful but not 'over the top'

As a family party of four, two chose Chicken with Sarladaise Potatoes, one the Stroganoff and I had the Hachis Parmentier. All dishes were poorly cooked. The chicken was dry and tough, the tagliatelle overcooked and my meal dry. This was a special family get together and I was very disappointed. The manager apologised and replaced our meals, My son's Strogonoff replacement was good. The rest of us chose an option offered - Fish Parmentier. The three of us agreed it was just ok. My Wife and I had eaten twice before at the restaurant and had enjoyed the food and service. This time, although the service was very good, the standard of the food we felt was rather poor.

Really good cooking, as usual, and a really thoughtful touch to leave my son a birthday card on the table - thanks!

We enjoyed our 3 course New Years meal from start to finish. Was not expecting the amuse bouche and olives on arrival which was a lovely touch. The food for the rest of the meal was superb couldn't fault any of it. It was an assault on our taste buds. We have dined in Cote on lots of occasions but have to say they surpassed any previous visits this time. The service and staff was excellent also.

A perfect evening. Our 2nd New Year’s Eve at Cote Shrewsbury and if anything it was even better than last year. Impeccable service, great food and superb wines. Thanks everyone, we’ll be back again for New Year’s Eve 2020 and plenty of other times in between.

My wife and I really enjoyed our New Year’s Eve Lunch. The staff were attentive and polite given that it was very busy. The food was excellent with a good variety of dishes, and value for money. COTE has quickly become one of our favourite dining places in Shrewsbury. It will not be too long before we return Happy New Year🍾🍸

Fabulous food, wonderful atmosphere and the most helpful, lovely waiters and waitresses.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary there last night. As ever everything about the meal was fantastic. Not too busy as it was a Sunday evening but still one very noisy Christmas party who were certainly enjoying themselves!

Great welcome as always, Most of the time you can sit where the customer likes, Service and food excellent at a fantastic price. Over all a good place to go for good choices of well thought out menus. By the way a good place to go for breakfast and Very reasonable and typical french style menu a great experience to start your day. Chris H.

I must say I thought the staff here were exceptional. Extremely accommodating to every request, consummate professionals. I work in the restaurant sector and eat all over the world - and was extremely impressed with the manager and our waiter. They should be commended.

Very enjoyable family lunch, lovely food and good service. Although it was busy there was plenty of staff so we didn't have to wait long for food or drinks and the food quality was as good as always.

We had a lovely Christmas Eve meal. The service was friendly and efficient, as always, and the food was very good. The scallops and boudin noir were delicious and deceptively filling. An all round pleasurable experience.

I eat nearly every day at Cote. I m disabled. The staff treat me superbly. I need some less rich dishes. The food is very rich. More roughage. Plainer soups etc. I loved the baked crotin with apples.
