Service very friendly, professional and polite. Food was delivered quickly and was extremely good. We were having a business lunch and was the perfect venue - actually better than I expected. Well done !

Good food and atmosphere. Just a bit slow at clearing our plates, between courses. However, this was a minor issue and we enjoyed our meal.

A good chance to see our two sons, one who lives abroad,to celebrate my birthday with a lovely meal.

Disappointing. We have been going to Cote Shrewsbury since it opened and can normally rely on it for a pleasant, well-cooked albeit slightly predictable meal. Last night standards seemed to be slipping. It's astonishing that they had run out of tonic water and three of our four main courses were not up to scratch. Perhaps stronger management supervision would help?

Absolutely fantastic 60th Birthday celebratory meal. Every course served was excellent and the service beyond. We were all looked after very well and your team went out of their way to ensure we had a great time. It was a lovely touch to receive a book reflecting the theme of the cake from the personnel and a bottle of wine as a present. Memories that will stay with everyone for a very long time. Thank you.

Entertaining business suppliers mid week. Ideal location for a very pleasant location to talk in a good atmosphere enjoying excellent food and wine with good service.

the most delightful restaurant, spacious, clean and lovely attentive staff without being overbearing. The meal was more than expected with nice portions for both starters and mains. I can recommend the steak tartare as a starter and the duck breast mains, cooked to perfection. This was also one of the nicest cheese boards that I have seen for quite some time, a nice size after a meal. We went for a 60th wedding anniversary celebration and it certainly did the job. We will be going back until we have gone through all the menu! Thankyou Shrewsbury.

Everything great with the exception of my main.... calamari starter was superb, drinks were great as was the service. Only disappointment was my moules frites - the frites were hard (like they’d been refried) and the mussels were dehydrated....

Food was very average and fairly expensive. Steak was tasteless and quite tough. Calamari straight from the freezer. Nice staff, and helpful. Expensive for what it is.

Lovely evening with my husband, last minute booking, Shrewsbury Cote is a favourite of ours. Very friendly staff.

The food was delicious and was served very quickly. Outside the weather was freezing but it was lovely and toasty in Cote Shrewsbury. I would definitely recommend it. Have been several times both at lunch and in the evening and it’s always a great experience. Will be back again soon!

French Onion soup was fab as usual! Very generous portion of mussels for a starter. Service was cheerful and friendly - many thanks to the waitress who found us a quiet table hen moved another one next to it to give us a bit more space. A very pleasant evening!

Food and service great as always. However, as per EVERY other visit the complimentary promotional drink was forgotten until I mentioned it .... now becoming A JOKE!!

I had the Breton chicken, which was ok but a little dry, compared to the last occasion I had it. The green beans, although i prefer them with crutch, were under cooked and cool. My Mum’s rib steak was lovely 😊

Good Food, Good service. We did have an issue with a starter not being up to scratch, however, this was dealt with very well by the waitress and Manager. Did not detract from a pleasant evening.

First of all I must say that ALL the staff are Fantastic - every time I visit Cote in Shrewsbury the staff there never fail to excel: from the welcome at the door, to the waiting staff, management ........... This visit proved to be of the same high standard: exceptional service, lovely food and staff that really wanted you to enjoy your evening. The only reason they have not got 5 stars is that there is always room for improvement. WELL DONE for making it a memorable evening for my wife and I - all staff deserve to be thanked. On a final note - I do like your Service Charge policy - if the service is this good then the staff deserve the mandatory tip - and it saves me having to concern myself with how much to pay them.

Food was served by friendly staff and rather quickly. Main courses were delicious and the dark chocolate mouse is always incredible!

We eat at Cote Brasserie, Shrewsbury on a fairly regular basis. Staff are always so welcoming and attentive. A great menu and the food is always done to perfection.

A very friendly greeting. The menu choices were excellent. The restaurant was very ''French''and it seemed as though we were on holiday. The food, well what can I say except that we cannot wait to go back, maybe tomorrow

After choosing cote for a dinner booking this week i was very disappointed with the overall visit. I have visited the restaurant several times and chose it to celebrate an anniversary. After our order was placed it took 10 mins for the waitress to come back and tell us that all out main courses were unavailable, her excuse was that she wasnt informed of any shortages when starting her shift . We all chose different main courses but were left disappointed again when we were told the cider wasnt available either. My partner ordered the flat steak off the set 2 course menu but wasnt asked how he would like it cooked , I appreciate it is a flat steak but even so the cooking option wasnt offered to us. I have never experienced this before in the restaurant and was left very disheartened as it was the first time our guests had visited the restaurant on my recommendation. No monetry discount or complimentary offerings were suggested.Not a great visit this time im afraid.

Excellent experience as always: staff very professional and having asked us to change table gave us a complementary delicious rhubarb martini. Good value early bird menu with varied choice. Consistently reliable. 😀

All lovely but would like the daily menu to change more frequently. For people who have lunch with you often it gets boring, I don’t think it has changed much recently.

We thought that we waited quite a while for our main course, but to be fair the restaurant was quite busy. All in all we personally think that Cote Brasserie is better than Cafe Rouge, Ask Italian, Zizzi and Carluccios, and we shall continue to support and enjoy meals at Cote Brasserie.

Lamb cutlets excelant, Duck Breast ok but a little dry. Still good, will come again.

It was ok, bit disappointing. Serving staff not very happy to help. Food not as good as usual. Maitre d was good. She was the saving grace.

Excellent food and wonderful service. First class as always. we shall recommend Cote to all our friends.
