Service was good and friendly, food good apart from rock hard bacon (english breakfast), poached eggs slightly underdone. Do not agree with service charge though, prefer to tip waiter/waitress myself. The Mother's Day brunch was a good idea, we all enjoyed it.

The set menu was excellent value at £11.95 for 2 courses or £13.95 for 3 courses. There was a slight hiccup when my starter supposedly of frisee with lardons and a poached egg came with chopped lettuce instead, but that didn't detract from the enjoyment of that dish. The chicken in breadcrumbs with a tomato sauce and rocket was superb. Really succulent. Finally my apple crumble was a steal for £2 - the price for the 3rd course. Excellent service also. Will definitely return.

Good selection of food on the menu and the dishes we chose were well presented and tasty. The room itself can get a bit noisy, but that’s not unusual in busy restaurants. Recommended.

We appreciated our complimentary kir royale and the staff were friendly and helpful. As we meet here 3 monthly it was a great start to our evening meal. We were given our requested table no. 30 and we enjoyed our meal which was up to the usual good standard, especially the creme caramel dessert.

Love this chain which has been consistently excellent elsewhere. At this location however, staff were obviously very unhappy as they had to walk round our table for two holding trays over our heads . Placement of that table on a busy day was a huge mistake . Our waiter was pleasant but also obviously stressed. Food was okay but the dish I had was much better at another Cote. It was not piping hot and rather bland by comparison. The wine and water were not chilled properly, just drinkable but not as one would wish. Table service after were were clearly finished eating was appalling. The remaining fish stew sat there for 25 mins! I had to get up and go to an open door for air . We went to the loo in hopes that would finally notice my plate which was festering at this point. I shall stick with Tunbridge Wells and London, thanks.

Great food as usual (though rather delayed), and the waitress was very nice, but as it was Mother's Day the place was absolutely heaving!!! They either need to limit the numbers booked, or need to provide more help for the poor harassed staff!!

Mothers Day - understaffed and overbooked. Family went for brunch. Served orange juice after 20 minutes of being seated. Then waited. And waited. And then got up and walked out. Always loved Cote. Usually so consistent. But sadly today a huge letdown. Very disappointed.

Excellent food and service. Always a polite and friendly welcome. Most helpful staff. A great deal of eateries in Sevenoaks area but this one is near if not the top one to choose. Try the French onion soup!!

Very nice table with lots of room. Super waiter, very friendly. Good food well cooked. Only downside is that my meal came in a dish on a wooden platter on a plate. Would have preferred my meal without the wooden platter, so I could have tipped it all onto the plate. Much easier for the older customer to eat!

Cote is a favourite restaurant chain of mine; the service , the food, the cleanliness, and the fair value are reasons why I choose to go there. Yesterday’s meal at Sevenoaks did not disappoint. Thank you.

Very nice food served at a time when they were very busy. They got one of the mains wrong, we’re very apologetic, and produced the correct one in short time. They then knocked off one dessert as a “sorry”. Recommended

Lovely food, very grateful for how the waiter dealt with our chiid’s Broken glass. Such a shame we had to wait until most of our food had been eaten for our vinegar to arrive. A key component of the meal for us.

Very good breakfast, excellent service and pleasant surroundings. The only minor issue was that the 2 person table was a bit too small to accommodate the meal - apart from that - excellent.

Cote in Sevenoaks is a pleasure to visit! Had lunch with 2 friends and chose from the set menu, we all had the grilled chicken and it was delicious. Service was excellent, the young man that served our table was very attentive at all times. Well done!

Good experience on the whole, but I have not given a top rating because: food was slow to arrive (our order got forgotten and waiting staff had to remind the kitchen). Also, the cooking of our chargrilled chicken was suspect and borderline - it was very moist, slimy and pink, almost as though it had been part-microwaved to speed it up. The skin was not crisp and the meat on the leg portion was inedible. This is a dish I eat frequently at Cote restaurants so I know what it should be like. This was poor. We were told the temperature of food had been checked and was safe, but it was not up to the usual standard and should not have been served like this. However, the manager was polite and apologetic and and took one meal off the bill.

Booked at the Sevenoaks Cote for their Breakfast formule and was rewarded by an excellent breakfast special offer! Had a little bit of a wait as the gas supply in the kitchen went down but when the cooked breakfasts finally arrived they were first class.

Good food, well prepared. Will not stay if we are seated there again. . Pleasant service and reasonably priced for Valentines Day. The only down side was that we were seated beside the curtain behind which they put the dirty dishes and the noise was dreadful because it sounded as if they were throwing them. They crashed and clattered every time a tray was taken through and it wrecked our conversation and made us jump every time. Dreadful. No one wants to eat when that is going on. Will not stay if seated there again. The chucking of dishes was just dreadful and inconsiderate.

The food was fine but the service was awful almost non existing. Our waiter wasn’t interested so we didn’t get the today’s special menu but only the full price menu. We weren’t offered any water and when the food arrived we didn’t get any serving spoons, so had to use our own forks etc. All in all a very disappointing experience.

Generally a very good dining experience. It got off to a bit of a shaky start as my gluten free partner was given my ordinary bread to tuck in to with his starter, but that was quickly rectified by panicky and apologetic waitress. After that everything was great, really lovely food, lots of it and good service.

The food was excellent! We started with pissaladiere, followed by roast duck breast and praline crepe and ice cream. The service, however, was very slow, although the place was not crowded, and I was able to eat the whole of my main course, before the wine arrived. Unusually, the place was freezing cold! My daughter kept her coat on throughout, and the large family party on the next table were provided with a small blow heater! Heating problems can arise - but we were offered no explanation - let alone an apology! Disappointing!
