Côte Sevenoaks

All four of us enjoyed our meals and although an error was made on one of the starters, coffee was given to us all on the house. The boys and girls were very frindly and cheerful. A lovely surprise was a candle on the dessert of one of our party complete with a rendering of 'Happy Birthday' by the staff. The creme caramel is still to die for..............probably the chocolate mousse as well! We all enjoyed our lunch with you. Thank youq

Generally very good - service was excellent and really enjoyed the main courses. However, we were very disappointed with the pancake pudding which seemed stale and unappetising.

It was a very enjoyable long leisurely lunch. We chose two courses from the menu of the day which were delicious! Staff were very pleasant. Will definitely go back.

Everything was up to the usual Cote high standard of service. Thank you. Booking online worked well and our waiter was delightful! We shall definitely continue to enjoy more meals here.

We booked for 6pm for a pre theatre meal. As we had only 80 minutes before we needed to leave, we opted for 2 courses each. I selected a starter and a main and my wife a main and a dessert, asking that her main should come at the same time as my starter. This didn't happen and with rather slow service (the restaurant was busy and staff seemed a bit thin on the ground), we eventually had to depart before the dessert arrived. The staff were apologetic, but obviously the experience was disappointing. My steak frites was, for the first time in many visits, not cooked rare. All in all, one of those evenings when the usual high standard of food and service dropped. This will not stop us returning in the future but a similar experience again would change that.

Very good food and good service. The only thing was they didn’t pick up my email about it being a birthday and doing a “sparkly” dessert . Lovely waitress

We had a very good lunch for 4 adults and a toddler. The service was good. We had s nice comfortable table and attention paid to one of the party who has a food intolerance. Overall a good experience and as a regular Cote customer I am sure we will be back soon. The loyalty scheme seems rather opaque though.

This Cote brasserie is surprisingly spacious! Four of us had an excellent lunch - delicious food and good wine, very good service and very pleasant staff. A most enjoyable occasion prior to going up the road to Knole!

An excellent meal, good quality ingredients with subtle flavours - the pear and endive salad with goats cheese was particularly delicious! Good value value with friendly and efficient service. We will definitely be back!

Always a good choice on the menu, cheerful service and good value for money especially the early evening menu. Would like tables a little further apart.

Another excellent, well-priced evening at Cote, Sevenoaks with attentive but not overbearing staff. In my opinion Cote is probably one of the best upmarket 'chain' restaurants where you can rely on well presented, tasty food served by competent staff in a convivial atmosphere.

I enjoyed an excellent meal with family members to celebrate my sister's birthday. From teenagers up to sixty somethings we all thought the food and the service were excellent as I have found in all branches of Cote that I have visited.

Overall good had the set menu wife disappointed with the midget gem walnut and bacon lardons no lardons!!!i had the minute steak and frits half off the steak was all grisly and not edible service was a bit to fast no time to rest between courses

I took my mother in law for her birthday. A very great all round experience. Lovely food, polite and courteous staff and service. Lovely menu choices at a reasonable price on the set menu.

Lovely meals, its a shame the creme cramel did not say it would have cream on it so unfortunately I had to return it but it was done and replaced with no fuss - the food was delicious. Complimentary water especially on a hot day - was nice not to have to ask for a jug of water. Pleasant staff and atmosphere

The restaurant was fairly quiet when we arrived so we had a large table for 2. It was nice to see a restaurant overcrowded with tables, there was plenty of space. The staff were very attentive and engaging. The food was good, the only down side was the top of my boeuf bourguignon was dry on top as if it had been under a heat lamp for too long. Apart from that it was a very good experience. We will return.

Cote in Sevenoaks is one of the best in the Cote Chain. You know you will always get decent food, well cooked and tasty. Not haute cuisine, but not fancy prices either! Good value.

Excellent food, delicious sauvignon blanc and prompt and friendly service, no long wait for a bill. Two minor suggestions - 1. side plates for one's bread rolls might reduce crumbs and make spreading easier, best not done in the air as too many people do these days; 2. maybe quieter more restful music (or none even better). But we'll certainly come again.

Food was good, the wine was cold, the service was friendly, always a pleasant experience at Cote. We go there frequently - once a fortnight generally

I have never been in this Cote when it is particularly busy but the staff are very helpful and we had a lovely breakfast again and will be returning.

Busy Saturday lunchtime and service very good, food very good - we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Plenty of choice on the menu and we will be back next week with some friends.

As usual, enjoyed an excellent meal. Varied menu choice and prompt, cheerful service. The only downside is the high level of noise as restaurant full.

Food was very good and a buzzy atmosphere. Not enough staff serving. We were given a desert menu and 40 mins later we were still waiting for someone to come back to take our order. In the end we gave up!

A pleasant experience with a very patient waiter as one person to arrive was late. We all enjoyed our dishes except my soup had a pice of chicken bone in it and the waiter tripped as he was serving my sorbet so he had to rescue it from the floor and get me another one!

Lovely premises in good location. Great service. Great food!! Never disappointed whenever we have eaten here. We enjoy the seasonal updates/extras that run in addition to the a la carte menu.

Yet another very enjoyable experience at Cote in Sevenoaks. For a lighter lunch I had prawns followed by the grilled swordfish and ratatouille was very nice. Cote never lets me down. Thank you!

Just a very average experience I'm afraid. Service not good enough to be charged 12.5% . Needs to check out others in the chain to see how it can be done.
