Very good friendly service: Both myself and my friends really enjoyed the food that we had. However we did feel that the food was served a bit quick between courses. Would definitely go again.

Absolutely fantastic great staff great food made it a special night for my wife. They arranged to bring out flowers to our table as an anniversary surprise. Will be visiting again thanks.

I went to Cote Brasserie in Salisbury to celebrate our wedding anniversary and found the food and staff were brilliant. I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends and will definitely be going back

Delicious late morning breakfast and great value using the breakfast complet offer. Service was good and staff friendly. A nice way to start the day.

Booked for a Friday evening. Great food, ambience and service was very good. We had the set menu and we were a little spoilt for choice.

Occasional user of this branch of a consistently reliable chain. Service was fast and efficient, food very good, falls short of excellent, but nevertheless good value and enjoyable.

The food and value were both good, but the service was not up to the usual standard. We had a 3 course lunch today, two from set menu, one from the main menu. We all enjoyed the food we selected and it was all up to the high standard of quality and value that we have come to know and expect from various Cote establishments. Unfortunately the waiting staff were not up to the normal very high standard. One dish slipped in the hand as it was being served. The staff were very apologetic and immediately offered to replace it, but nothing was spilled and the presentation was largely intact so it would have wasteful to take up the offer if a replacement. That was just an unfortunate slip. Had we made a fuss, I am sure they would have taken something off the bill, but that is not what we are about. However, overall the staff did not seem as friendly as in the past. I am sure we will still be going to Cote on a regular basis and I imagine today was just an exception. It certainly was based on our past experience here and at other branches.

Excellent food, prompt service and friendly atmosphere. Really enjoyable family lunch. Plenty of parking around the corner makes the location super convenient. Looking forward to returning in the near future.

My friend and I had a delicious lunch there today. As always the welcome was warm and the service pleasant and efficient. I chose two courses from the special menu, and my friend had two starters from the main menu. We were both very pleased with our food. Delicious and nicely presented. This restaurant never disappoints. Well done Cote Salisbury!!

Alex and his team always provide an efficient and friendly service. Consistently good food which changes with the seasons but at the same time keeps a few favourites on the menu.

Food excellent. We stayed until 10pm when everyone else seemed to have gone. Service dropped in quality at that stage - they were almost putting the chairs on the table and the sole waiter was grumpy. The first class manager then appeared and saved the day. My tip: during the week Mon - Thu better to arrive at 7.30 than 8.00 pm.

As always, Cote did not disappoint unlike a lot of other more expensive restaurants we have tried recently. We shall continue to frequent Cote Salisbury as it is also such good value for money.

Welcomed politely, given choice of table, waitress attentive, food excellent, good value lunch, speedy service, nice friendly ambience - what more could one wish for

Staff very pleasant and welcoming, but it was early evening and not very busy and we still got the feeling we'd been forgotten about! Order for more beer needed chasing up, but once we'd complained (mildly) things improved no end. Started off as a 1 but ended up 4-5. Can't fault the food.

Good weekend special lunch, my two companions enjoyed their steak frites, I enjoyed the roast chicken but the green beans were not very green and slightly overcooked. Otherwise would have rated higher.

Lovely menu choices. Food was very tasty. Service and decor good. Only slight downside is that its quite noisy probably due to hard floors and tall ceiling so voices really carry. Would recommend some sound proofing to make it a near perfect lunch experience.

Good value for money - attentive staff, especially as I did have to complain about my piece of chicken breast. It was replaced by something else immediately and they deducted our drinks from the bill. Thank you - we will definitely be returning next month.

Really friendly staff and great food! We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary, the atmosphere was great and the staff made everything so easy. The food was faultless and the only disappointment was that we couldn't fit in dessert.

Service by Roxy was excellent, efficient, friendly and professional. Food as expected, lovely and the atmosphere very pleasant. I decided not to give the top mark because of a simple thing that a few restaurants overlook, a wobbly table!! Definitely will be back to try something else on the extensive menu.

Good food as always. Slight hiccup as one order was incorrect but this was quickly corrected and we were not charged for this meal staff very polite.

There was a good choice of dishes on the menu. Although the Restaurant was very busy, the service was good. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.

Excellent food and service; nice restaurant ambience and setting. Reasonable menu price, and early evening menu was very good value. Only disappointment: the trek upstairs to the toilets though!

The service was excellent , the food well presented and very tasty . We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will definitely visit again at a later date .

Excellent location, friendly service and good choice of food to choose off the menu at reasonable prices. At lunchtime and other busy times would recommend to pre book a table. The restaurant has a buzzy atmosphere and we have been here before and will hopefully come here again.

Good food, excellent selections. Wine good. Service good. I'd like the tables to be just a little further apart hard not to overhear everything said. I have a back problem and arthritis so although appreciate the disabled loo it isn't easy to negotiate the washing up area, perhaps next refit could address this issue.

Although we had booked an early meal, there was a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. We had a very enjoyable meal and the staff were efficient.

All of the food was excellent as was the service - the pace of the meal was just right, neither rushed nor with any long delays.

We were so impressed. The manager was pleased to see us, gave us a great welcome. Our free bottle of wine was ready & waiting. Our waiter, Lewis, could not have been more helpful or polite. Well done, all of you -oh yes, the food was excellent, a well!!

We turned up early, which was no problem for the staff at the Salisbury restaurant. This was great as the were very busy. The food and atmosphere was very good. All in all a very good day out from Bristol. Jim.

We went to cotes for lunch. The food was delicious and very friendly staff, fab service, great atmosphere, we couldn't fault it. We will definitely be back soon.

There are two things that always irritate me at your restaurant. One is possibly irremediable but should be addressed and that is the ridiculous trek involved in going to the lavatories. Surely, even if they have to be in their present position you could introduce a way from the front to the stairs without going all round the back? The other is getting a bill. Service in ordering is fine but try to leave and you can wait and shout and shout and wait.........! You have got the food right, which has to be the most important thing.

First class restaurant, meal and service. The manager, Alex, just could not have been more helpful. We had their 2 course Theatre Meal, which is served at 6 for going to a theatre at 7. £50 inc wine for 3, superb value. Highly recommended

Pleasant enough meal but nothing special. The menu needs revising -it has remained much the same for years and the portions have got smaller! Nice to have free wine but value for money is less than it used to be

Very enjoyable evening meal. Staff were engaging and the atmosphere was relaxed. Côte is an ideal place for a light pre-theatre dinner and there is a good choice of main courses.

Very nice minute steak! Good service, nice atmosphere. Value for money. Needed to be swift as we were going to the theatre afterwards. Wish they would do their weekday specials for early birds on Saturdays.

There was a good choice of dishes, the food was great, the staff were efficient and friendly but the NOISE. There was one group in the corner shouting their heads off. As they were there before us and hadn't order their food by the time our starters arrived we realised we would have to put up with their bellowing for the rest of our meal.

Had a great meal as always when we visited Cote Salisbury. The staff are always attentive and very friendly. Food good also and lovely setting.

The food was good but we felt we were not made welcome. We almost thought we were a nuisance by needing to be served: the staff were very unfriendly. I am a regular atvarious branches and this was not usual. I booked online so we were expected.

Cote seemed to have adopted the policy of adding 12.5% service charge to their bills when I would rather pay what I think is appropriate. I can understand this being added for larger parties, but not just for a table for two!? We opted for the set menu option but you now need to pay extra for your frites with the steak so not as cost effective as it first appears. This has been my restaurant of choice in Salisbury for lunch with friends but I think perhaps I shall try out some other options as it is sadly not what it was.
