Côte Salisbury

We were welcomed and seated quickly. The food was excellent and the service was both efficient and friendly. We had a very pleasant evening and I would certainly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent meal and service. All exceeded our expectations and we will certainly be back. We took a guest, who was unsure about Cote, but we now have a very happy lady and convert.

The food was very good, with my only criticism being the positioning of the tables, which unfortunately affected the whole evening. We were placed on a table for two next to a fairly loud woman on the next table. If tables could be placed so there is more privacy that would be beneficial and enhance the dining out experience at the Cote Salisbury. This is not the first time we have experienced this at the Cote Salisbury in the upper section at the front of the restaurant. In future we will certainly refuse to be placed in that area as we think the rear sitting area gives more privacy where the tables are better positioned.

Great service from enthusiastic server. Food up to the usual high standard for the price. We had a bottle of a very good light bodied red wine, although a bit pricey.

This restaurant has become our local over the years and we have yet to be disappointed by any of their meals. Not only is the food fresh and cooked expertly but the staff are very pleasant and accommodating. We shall continue to make this our local especially as it is situated very near The Playhouse theatre in Salisbury which we attend regularly. I can highly recommend it.

If you like your steaks blue then this is the place to go, in this restaurant they are cooked to perfection. I can also commend the service and the ambience.

Buzzy atmosphere. Good value set lunch menu, promptly served professionally. Always a good experience especially when going to a matinee at the local theatre. Keep up the good standard.

Lovely meal with excellent service, had a three course menu for £18.95 very good value. I am a coeliac and they provide a complete gluten free menu so I didn't have any concerns about my food.

Excellent food and service, it is always good to know that the restaurant is open all day so to avoid the busy times visit earlier or later.

Excellent food and service - only downside is that we felt a little rushed. Booking was at 6:45pm so my impression is that they want to get you away asap for the second or third sitting. Next time will make it 8/8:30pm...

The Perfect setting for a celebration meal, great choice of food. Relaxed atmosphere. No prosecco but alternatives available. Lovely waitresses. 👍🏻 👍🏻 😊 🥂 🎉

A lovely place for a quiet, peaceful breakfast with great service, feel and food

Yet again another thoroughly pleasant breakfast at Cote Brasserie in Salisbury. Good Serviice, great atmosphere and delicious food. Nice to have a bit of normality in the city!

Good service, and lovely brunch, Eggs Royale and the French cooked breakfast. My husband particularly enjoyed the Boudin noir Nice birthday treat for my husband.

Excellent and speedy service, and wonderful food. We are completely and utterly stuffed. In a good way! 3:30 pm on Good Friday is obviously a good time to eat here!

Food was excellent . Well presented with good sized portions. Initially the service was good but that fell away and as a result we did not have time for coffee as we were going to the theatre.

Great food, atmosphere, service. 1:30pm lunch arrived with 3 other couples and the restaurant was heaving. Not a table to spare. Cathedral service for 900 this morning and many had probably stopped here for lunch. Plenty of friendly compent staff so not a problem. Food as delicious as ever. Favourite Salisbury restaurant.

We were a group of four with one invalid member. Service was excellent and the staff were considerate. Food as ever was excellent. The gluten free menu for one coeliac guest was a bonus.

Other than the pleasant, friendly serving staff, who were good, I found the food somewhat bland and pedestrian. There is room for improvement here. Cote has seen better offerings in the past

The food was excellent with a varied choice to suit most people, there was even an option of a monthly special. The service was attentive throughout the meal without being intrusive.

We went for a pre Theatre meal and the place was full, but service was great and the food was delicious. Would definitely go again. Despite the recent incident Salisbury seemed as busy as ever.

Cote was busy and there seemed to be fewer staff than normal. So we waited longer than usual for menus, drinks, and food to arrive. However, the food quality was excellent.

Very attentive staff,marvellous sea bass, couldn’t ask for a better lunch. We have been to Cotes several times and would recommend to our friends. Also good atmosphere but customers were a little loud but you cannot stop people enjoying themselves!

Booked for a pre theatre meal. Was very busy but service was slick and well organised. Food was delicious too! If I had to criticise anything, it would be that the tables are quite close together (really picky minor gripe). I would definitely eat there again.

Lovely lunch as always and super staff. Not given full marks as we were sitting quite near the kitchen area with quite a lot of crockery noise. Otherwise perfect.

Had a lovely lunch at Cote today. As always, good food and great service and easy to book online. Extra bonus was the free parking!

Serving customers was not in order and we had to ask where our starters were. When my soup did arrive it was lukewarm. Main course was really hot and delicious.

Great ambience. Excellent food and service. The pre theatre menu is excellent value for money and offers a very good selection. Would recommend the mussels starter and the main course haddock dish.

Lovely food choices in both the specials and set menu. Great service as always with attentive staff in a lovely old school building. Nice French lager and cider too.

Warm welcome, good prompt service, excellent food. The staff are attentive and obliging. We eat regularly at Cote Salisbury prior to attending the theatre and have never been disappointed.

Great food, consistently good. Service excellent, friendly,efficient and welcoming . Would recommend to anyone visiting salisbury, it seems the locals like it too. You do need to book generally.

Wonderful main course which arrived promptly then, apparently, we became invisible. My guest asked another waiter for the desert menu, then asked her to take our order. After clearing a nearby table she took our order for creme brûlée ( fantastic) and coffee( it never arrived) so... food: splendid; service: disappointing.

I always enjoy my visits to cotes in Salisbury. On this occasion I was meeting some colleagues for a meeting and we had just one quick course at the conclusion of our discussions. It was, perhaps, not a true test of the potential, but we could not fault the service and the cooperation of the staff in leaving us quietly until we were ready to eat.
