Great location for pre event meal. Lovely, tasty food well presented. A bit expensive even with our 20% food discount.
Food good, as normal, but we had a grumpy greeter and had to wait ages to order dessert and then ages again before it came: not good and not what we expect of this restaurant normally.
On a two night trip to Salisbury and one of our group had a birthday and the staff heard us saying this and brought complementary kir royales to the table, nice gesture thank you.
Slick and friendly service in a nice bistro atmosphere. The changing fixed price Prestige Menu offers a good selection so always worth considering. The basic Chicken and fries always good too.
We were relieved to find a table outside in the sun. The acoustics in the restaurant are difficult and as it is so popular( for good reason,) the noise level becomes intolerable. The food is great and we won’t stop using Cote😉
As a regular diner at Cote I was very disappointed with my dining experience last night. Whilst the food was up to its usual high standard the waitress was probably the worst I have ever encountered in any restaurant to the point of being downright rude and making us all feel like she was doing us a favour by serving us. Has this been my first experience of Cote it would have been my last.
Tables a bit small and too close to each other. Otherwise a very pleasant breakfast.
Great breakfast - superb service as usual - thanks again
Food was very good. The service was poor. (Table of 4) Food for another table brought to us before we had ordered. The main course arrived and one was wrong. Again at the desert, food for another table was brought to us. When our deserts arrived, one was wrong. To cap it all, of the three coffees one was wrong. Not good enough!
abit noisy and busy so slower than normal but always a treat
We are regular diners at the Cote and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys French style cookery and a great atmosphere. Bon Appetit!
It was fairly good few things were off the menu said we could not have coffee as they had shut machine down staff were Pleasant
Delicious breakfast and great service in a lovely environment - just perfect
I had the steak & frites with side salad. Steak was tasty and cooked very well. Side salad was a little too wet with dressing, but, again, tasty. My wife's goats cheese salad, very nice but again, drenched in too much dressing. Half as much dressing would have been more than enough. Thank you.
Booked a table for my daughters birthday, which I advised them of, was a little disappointed that no one wished her a happy birthday and no complimentary Kir Royal offered as in previous birthday visits. As a regular Cote goer I was a disappointed with the service today, both main courses and desserts were brought out incorrectly and we had to wait and eventually go to the till for our bill as no one came to see if the meal was ok or to offer us coffee or the bill at any stage. This is very unusual and not up to the usual Cote standard. That said, the food was delicious as normal.
Fantastic food the steak was amazing really really tasty yum
Arrived a little later than planned but staff very understanding. We chose a different table to that which was allocated and staff helped us move. We shall go again!
We liked the new May menu and again found the pre-theatre set choices good both in quality and value. The restaurant was fairly busy (Thursday at 6pn) and the service was slightly too slow when it cane to the dessert - we had to hurry to the theatre for the 7.30pm performance. We shall return but must book for 5.45pm rather than 6pm.
Excellent food & service as always & great value for money.
Everything was fine, food and service as reliable as ever, thanks.
Brilliant food and staff as ever. Only slightly marred by a noisy table next to ours. They were having fun, so no problem, but too much shouting across their table! Maybe I'm going deaf?!
Good meal nice atmosphere and friendly service. An enjoyable experience.
As usual, food and service excellent; Cote is the place to eat in town. Thanks to all the staff.
Generally very good but waiting staff were inattentive. Desert order got lost and the didn't notice.
I can thoroughly recommend the Cote to anyone who likes French Brasserie style food, and more besides. The service is great and the atmosphere is always good.
Lovely food and good choice on menu in a nice restaurant and good service.
exceptional ! - booked table ready on time - slight problem rectified immediately by management - A1 Thanks
Delicious food combined with excellent and efficient service. Restaurant has a relaxed ambience. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning. Think the quality of food is very good for the price
Food great. One side dish greatly delayed but not charged.
We eat at Cote regularly before the theatre as they have a good-value early-bird meal and can be relied on to get us in out in plenty of time for the theatre. This time, unfortunately, the food was very slow in coming out and the staff didn't seem to be on top of things. We had to rush through our main course and then had to prod the waitress to give us the bill. We did get to the theatre in time -- just -- but it shouldn't have been so stressful. We will certainly go back, but were disappointed with this visit.

A delightful Easter Sunday lunch at Cote Salisbury with the family.
Staff were ok Food was mixed, starters and dessert great but mains were ok
Food was very nice and good friendly service too. Shame bottles of small beer very expensive and no draft
Welcoming, attentive staff they always serve lovely food! A great atmosphere!
We really enjoyed our meal served with excellent attention and very tasty food. Thank you!
Slow service I'm afraid but excellent food, as always :)
Waited quite a while for our food as they lost our order; apart from that all good
super weekend special menu - great coffee - pleasant stop whilst shopping as central location
Excellent food and good service not our first visit and certainly not our last.
Great lunch out, good food and service. Did not have to wait.
Delicious food. Main could have been slightly bigger - don't want to always have to add extra vegetables as makes the meal expensive. Service excellent as always!
Always a pleasure to go to The Cote, the service is friendly, the food is quite frankly astounding for the money and I haven't had a bad meal there yet despite working my way through the entire menu!
Overall very pleasant but service slow. Waitress needed to be corrected about what we had ordered.
Food was fantastic, 10/10 and staff very friendly and chatty.
We have always found your restaurant good. We were following on from an executors meeting and you cheered us up. Thanks,
Good atmosphere, friendly staff. Quality of food good. Would go again
As normal nothing too much trouble at Cotê- had salad Frisée to start which was not on menu on Saturday followed by veal chop & haddock - topped off with excellent Creme Brûlée to share Great Pouilly Fuisse Thank you Cotê
great as usual although busy so didn't get reserved table but a nice alternative so no problem
We been customers for many years now and we still enjoy the warm atmosphere.Staff are very friendly.Food is good and well presented.
Food always good. Sometimes a bit noisy as tables close together. Waitress not great this time.
