As always the service is attentive and friendly. More importantly the quality and freshness of today's lunch was good. The chef and kitchen staff manage to produce consistent dishes - that is why we keep going back. In addition, the menu is very good value for money.

As usual a good standard all round. Cote always reliable.

Excellent, courteous service from all who served me. A little slow with my dessert. Starter mackerel with leaves and an egg....perhaps a bit light in mackerel. Steack frites and side of tomatoes....excellent, and generous. Iced berries dessert with warm white chocolate sauce.....excellent and again, generous. Overall experience... Very pleased. ...

I enjoyed the food but I was not so impressed by the service. I ordered a drink which never came (fortunately I was not charged for it) and felt I waited quite a long time at the end of the meal for the bill and the again for someone to come to process the payment of the bill.

The restaurant because there are no soft furnishings was particularly noisy on this visit.

Quick and efficient, lovely food, fabulous waitress. What more would you want to like.

Service good, especially as it was full. Atmosphere was very nice with people of all ages and some international visitors too.

We had a fantastic evening. The waitress was very friendly, attentive but not intrusive. Our starters arrived very quickly and from then on we had seamless service. I was eating out with friends and we wanted to spend the evening together without being hurried. We spent a very happy three hours at the table of our choice. I have eaten at Cote on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. In fact we rarely eat anywhere else as the food is superb, probably the best in Salisbury. The service is always exemplary and if there are any issues, they are always sorted promptly. I can't recommend highly enough.

We arrived early and were shown to our table straight away. The waiting staff were happy to answer our questions regarding the menu and tailor the food to our liking. It arrived in a reasonable time, was delicious, and allowed us to get to the playhouse for the matinee performance. Thank You

The only thing I would say is that for a table for that many people there needs to be two people hosting to enable all side orders and drinks to arrive when they should. Tables could of been located slightly better for the group to engage a bit more, and not feel that we were too loud for the rest of the diners in the restaurant. Great night, thank you.

Both of our pre starters were lovely as was our starters but my main was not a good. I have had the lamb rump before and it was amazing which is why I ordered this time. Two very small pieces and very fatty lamb. The veg and rest was great just the lamb that wasn't. The desert was great and as had practically and whole bottle of red to myself I was happy and didn't say anything. It was my 50th Birthday. But as you asked I may as well feedback. Thanks Paul.

Another good meal at Cote in Salisbury. We had the early bird menu and it was very good value. The service was once again very good and the waiter very friendly.

We regularly eat at Cote Salisbury and so the offer of a complimentary Pampelle Spritz and a good lunch before seeing the Lion King was too tempting. The Pampelle Spritz is absolutely delicious and really works as an aperitif. Smoked Salmon with a very Polish twist was excellent as usual and my wife really enjoyed the Charentais Melon with Savoie Ham. As one of the cheaper dishes on the a la Carte Menu the Goujons of Haddock with Frites, Peas, Lettuce and Baby Onions plus home made Tartar Sauce was spectacular. No pudding today - I sleep at the cinema too easily. My thanks to Vicky the on duty manageress and Roxanna who looked after us so professionally. Vicky has eyes in the back of her head and subtley guides the younger members of her staff to get it right. I must not also forget the great team upstairs in the kitchen and the athletes who run up and down the stairs to ensure the food is perfect when it arrives at your table.

Have been to this beautiful restaurant many, many times. This time was not as successful to previous visits. We were sat right next to the bar which wasn't a particular issue but we became very bored by one of the bar staff who was incredibly full of himself. If you are to have tables adjacent to the bar - staff need to appreciate that diners are there for their own experience and not to be drown out by the staff with their boring and at times, aggressive comments.

Lovely meal with fantastic service and attention to detail. It was my birthday and they even put a candle in my dessert which was a lovely thing to do. It was very warm in there though so could have opened some windows which were all shut.

A really lovely restaurant and the vegetarian menu is superb. The restaurant was very busy. Some of the servers didn’t have much time to interact but I think the were just exceptionally busy. The food is very well prepared. Delicious vegetarian dishes and if you want vegan that’s no problem.

Excellent, very friendly service, very patient with one of our party who took a long time to make up his mind - that makes such a difference for us all You asked about waiting time but we had booked so that's not applicable. Will certainly return but don't live in Salisbury

Simply wonderful! We come here every year for our wedding anniversary and once again were not disappointed. Greeted with complementary drinks AND a card (thank you), food was delicious as ever and service personal, excellent and charming! We had a great evening.

Very good great table position good atmosphere will gone again

Food very good as usual but service not up to standard. Has to ask for table to be cleared after starter, empty table next to us left with breakfast crockery and food for longer than was necessary. Staff walked by many times empty handed before clearing it. Not that busy either. Not up to usual service standards . Very noisy before we left, pleased to be leaving

Lovely service from the amazing staff, as usual. Delightful entrees (the pork belly and the duck). Particularly exquisite crème brûlée au citron. Always a pleasure.

Food was amazing! Service was great and staff were very friendly and helpful as 2 people out of the group of 4 had food allergies. I am a fussy eater, and my dish has a tad too much pepper on it (I had risotto) however, the manager came over and ensured they would swap it for a new one no problem, and due to the fact I had to wait another 10 minutes for the new dish, they ensured that they took it off the bill which was extremely kind as I did not mind the wait, it tasted incredible!! We also got a free bottle of wine for signing up to their newsletter, would highly reccomend!

Food was delicious and nicely presented. Staff were welcoming and attentive. Atmosphere relaxed and made for a very enjoyable dining experience. We’ve been to a number of. Cote restaurants and Salisbury is just in a wonderful location. It’s not the first time we’ve been, and I know it’s not the last. Looking forward to coming again soon.

Great early evening meal: excellent service, well presented and tasty food. The restaurant has a “buzz”, a lot of happy diners. The August menu has all the old favourites and a few specials, the hake on Mediterranean vegetables was especially good.

Always have a nice meal at cote, we just enjoy the brassiere style reminding us of eating in Paris

Helpful & pleasant staff. We had my elderly mother with us who is in a wheelchair & the staff took good care of us. Also met some of the staff ‘behind the scenes’ who were lovely & clearly worked very hard.

We had my elderly mother in a wheelchair with us. I booked in advance. The staff were all friendly & helpful, including the staff next to the access toilets. My Mum had just turned 93 but she chose to mention to the waitress that it was our 45th wedding anniversary so we were treated to a glass of bubbly each, totally unexpected & for which we were very grateful! We had a lovely meal; my Mum, who rarely eats a whole meal, ate the salmon & a pudding! Thank you to all of you: chef, staff both front of house & behind the scenes.
