Menu needs a replacement but otherwise good food and service

While the menu offers a good choice it’s been the same for a couple of years. Quality of the food and service only good compared to your london restaurants

Love this restaurant and the wonderful team of young people who work hard to deliver good food and service. Had the October special Haddock dish today. A nice fillet set on top of a bed of potato sauteed mushrooms and spinach with a champagne buerre blanc. A beautifully conceived and very tasty dish. I hadn't had a Cote Creme Caramel for a while and they still are the best in the Universe. Our waitress Josi did a great job but I hope the manager acts to get rid of the unsightly rubbish bins outside in the direction of the river after I drew this to his attention.

We had one starter and four main courses The starter arrived after the main courses Three main courses were cold We had to remind them to bring our side dish We had to go to the till to get our bill

Food was excellent as always, service was not!!! Had to wait far too long for drinks after many attempts of trying to get the waiters attention and when the food arrived it did not arrive in the correct order. Would of understood a little if the restaurant was busy however this was not the case.

Food was as good as usual but atmosphere was lacking and our main course was brought to us before we had finished our starter.

Cote is consistently the best food in Salisbury, it is my ‘go to’ restaurant because I know I’ll get a delicious meal. The mushrooms on brioche was absolutely fabulous on Tuesday!! Such a lovely manager and staff too.

As normal in Cotê everything perfect October menu has some good specials My wife had Sea Bass of regular menu I had Rib Eye from October menu all very good

Cote is always a reliable "go to" when entertaining for lunch. It was exceptionally busy for a Monday and as a result the service was a little slow, but the food was delicious.

In fact we will be going next Thursday to Oxford and have of course booked the Cote there for lunch.

Popped in for a spur of the moment lunch. Had the weekend menu of Steak Frites and green salad which was lovely, the steak was delicious. Very reasonable for a quick lunch and service was excellent as usual

Dined here today for my Mums Birthday. Lovely food, great service and excellent all round. I would highly recommend this Restaurant.

Service was very good however it seems rushed. It's a tough balance to strike between being attentive and meeting customers expectations however at times it felt we were rushed into ordering drinks and starter, at the end of the day this isn't a fast food establishment! On the positive side of this however when we had to ask to have longer to decide we weren't forgotten about which can happen all to often in other resturants when you ask for more time to make a decision. Aside from that the food was excellent and atmosphere was lovely. Will definetely come back one of my favouite places to come.

Attentive, energetic staff and lovely food makes for a very pleasant lunch at this Salisbury branch of the restaurant chain. I started with the warm salad of endives in vinaigrette dressing and my only gripe is that the soft-boiled egg on top was fridge cold (a bit of a shock I can tell you) so I didn't eat it. Next were delicious beans, very garlicky, topped with grilled sea bass. The chocolate pot is a small one, half full of chocolate and half lactic-sour crème fraiche which was a perfect finale in every respect. The coffee was good too. Including a big bottle of Perrier, we paid £42 between us. It's a delightful bargain to be fed so well and so elegantly. Thank you.

I have just enjoyed a delicious lunch with my friend for her birthday. The service was excellent, very friendly staff but left us to have a fun get together without bothering us - Just the right amount of attentiveness.
