Our second visit this week! Excellent service and good food, as usual.

No problems, service good, food fine, will visit again, probably soon.

Great food great service nothing was a problem and no rushing

Food cooked to perfection. Helpful, friendly and attentive staff.

Service was minimal and we weren't asked if every thing was ok with our meals. Despite redeeming the January sale offer when we booked the full price appeared on our bill and had to be rectified. Didn't feel the service charge was fully warranted on this occasion although we paid it.

We enjoyed the warm atmosphere and the excellent attention. We chose our meal from the lunchtime menu which was amazing value , well presented and delicious. The soup was particularly good.

Food good, table good, service slow and not deserving of the 12.5% service charge.

We were sat down as soon as we arrived (20 minutes early!) and our drinks order was taken and delivered immediately. The vast menu had lots to choose from and the kids menu had a good choice too. Our waiter was very helpful and looked after us really well without being overbearing. The food orders came out quickly and were hot and delicious!

It was a very torrential booking experience and certainly not what we’re usually used to, but we discussed the unacceptable reception we received from a representative on the telephone with the manager of Cotes Salisbury and resolved the initial concerns (hasten to add we are very regular customers), and were greeted tremendously well, restoring our long established faith in cotes Salisbury!

Lovely food and friendly atmosphere as usual. Slick but unrushed service. We had a very relaxed evening spread over a couple of hours( our choice). Alex? the manager was his usual friendly and efficient self and Tatiana, the French waitress, lent the service a Gallic charm, whilst being attentive but still giving us time and space. A winning sense of humour too. Yet again this Cote is a model of an up market chain, offering a great choice of food at reasonable prices. Salisbury Cote must be one of the best around.

We booked the table online, and had the free bottle of Merlot - which was excellent. I only have one complaint with Cote, and that is that your a la Carte menu has remained the same for as long as I can remember (except for one or two minor changes). Another restaurant in Salisbury changes its menu every month. Maybe this would be too frequent for Cote and involve too much work, but I do think that the Mains offered on the a la Carte desperately need to be changed. For example, more decent vegetarian options would be most welcomed. Please be more adventurous in the kitchen.

Very nice meal and the staff were lovely. Only gripe is we don’t agree with the way a 12% service charge is automatically put on to the bill. We’ll happily leave a tip for good service, but this shouldn’t be assumed by putting on the bill without asking.

The restaurant was very busy and the noise level was less than ideal.

I would like to thank the staff for looking after my friend and I on my birthday. The service was fantastic, as was the food. the waiters were friendly and helpful without being intrusive and it was a joy to eat there. Thank you

We always enjoy our lunches at cote brasserie - friendly staff, pleasant surroundings and very good affordable food. However, we booked this on line on your newsletter exclusive offer but we did not receive the reduction in price for the lunch. Perhaps we should have mentioned it before we ordered. It still did not spoil a very enjoyable lunch but next time we will point it out before ordering.

We use Cote both in London and wherever we find one. Ideal for lunch in a rush with fast service and attentive staff. Yesterday worked extremely well. Good parking, near to the places we needed to get to quickly and of course good food. Well done Cote!

Used the website in response to a very attractive January email promotion for 2 or 3 courses & found it very user friendly - was then gratified to receive a personalised confirmation of my booking. The Restaurant was buzzing, the staff friendly & efficient & the food excellent. The portion size of the “Poulet Salardaise” was over generous for my lady guest, & my “Latte” could have been a degree or two hotter ...(I will make sure I specify this requirement next time). Well done Côtes in Salisbury!

This is our second visit in 10 days, so despite having to send my steak back twice last time we are still keen supporters. This time I avoided the steak and had grilled chicken which was a bit dry but tasty. As in the past the service was excellent and we like the atmosphere even if the ambience is very noisy. Despite these comments we will keep on coming.

As usual our meal was prepared with care and was delicious. Service is fantastic. We always have a smile on our faces after eating in Cote.

I loved my pork tenderloin, calamari and apple crumble. My partner loved salad starter but wasn't so keen on salmon main but again loved apple crumble. Salmon skin was left on but not crisped up so not edible. Salad with salmon was very small.

Great service and ambience. Food excellent. 4 rather than 5 because side salad arrived after we had finished course plus 25 mins after finishing main we were still waiting for service - plates to be cleared and menu for dessert. Otherwise excellent .

Especially enjoyed the blood orange starter. Great to see new early evening dishes. We dine here fairly regularly.

Superb food and service by Manager Alex is always the best! And... for the thousand time: please chill the white/rose wines as it is never cold enough...

I had steak and chips both were delicious, however it was spoilt by being a bit tough, not your usual standard. The ice cream and chocolate sauce were both superb, I will keep coming back.

We had a lovely family pre-pantomime breakfast at Salisbury Cote Brasserie today. Five of us, ranging in age from 7 to 70. Plenty of choice for all, including excellent veggie breakfasts. Top service, food and atmosphere as always - thank you!

The staff were efficient and friendly. The meal was delivered to the table quite quickly. The food was good but could have been hotter. Overall a good experience.

We had a lovely meal, and the service was excellent

I went to the Côte in Salisbury today hoping to have some food, we arrived at 11:35 and asked for a table of two, the server said we couldn’t be seated as it was fully booked. We left the restaurant and sat on a bench, I went onto your website 2 minutes later and managed to book a table for 11:45, there was lots of other tables available too. In the end we decided to go to another restaurant instead.

Went with a friend for a lunch .Could not fault the service however would have preferred to leave a tip rather than having it inc in bill!! We both had a starter and then choose the lunch time special of steak and frites.Both of us thought it came with salad however when the meal which turned up very prompt there was no salad !Disappointing as I would rather have paid an extra £1.00 and had salad with my steak .Instead we had to buy a side salad

Cote excelled as usual. My friend and I had the early bird menu, which was on offer to subscribers in January, 2 courses for £9.95 normally £11.50. I had the French style cottage pie and my friend had the chicken. Both very tasty and good sized portions. We both had the chocolate pot for pudding . Which is small, intense and moreish. Just the right size. The staff, as always, were lovely, efficient and friendly. Great meal

Lovely meal from the January Early Bird Menu which was excellent value with my subscriber offer.

The staff were friendly. The Starter, pork pate was tasteless and the bread was dry, the main course , Breton duck was also dry and not very appertising. This visit was not my normal experience at this cote.
