Great lunch at Côte today,staff and managers explain new COVID-19 role,very relax atmosphere,felt safe.

My Mum and I visited today and had a lovely time, thank you so much. We were allowed to take our time it was such a leisurely lunch which was just what we needed and the food was delicious! 10/10 from us!

Love Cote ! Have really missed the breakfast these last few months and todays did not disappoint! Very yummy indeed. Super Waitress and all very Covid alert clean and safe ! Thank you.

We had a very nice meals indeed, the tables were nicely spaced and the level of service was excellent.

We always enjoy our visits to Cote, the standard of hospitality and food is always consistently great whichever location we visit. In Salisbury today we couldn't fault the Covid safety measures and have to say they didn't impact in any way on the atmosphere or service, thank you! (The loss of a star for noise level was due to a noisy child, not your fault!)

Excellent service particularly from, I think, the manager of the day, and the young women.

Another good night at Cote. The food was excellent, Agatha was an attentive and helpful waitress and Vicki oversaw everything with her customary efficiency and helpfulness. The garlic bread could have had a crisper top.

Very good broad menu. Food delicious, well presented and beautifully served. Only failing - nowhere to hang my hat!

Had a great evening last night - service fantastic - well looked after as we ate outside despite being the only ones - reasonably busy inside.

First visit, friendly service, nothing too much bother. Will visit again.

Although I didn’t get the table I asked for I was impressed with the service and the acknowledgement and apology from the manager.

Very friendly, welcoming and professional staff, who deliver a very high standard of service. There is a very interesting menu and the food is well prepared and presented, accompanied by a well chosen and good value wine list.

In current circumstances lovely to sit outside in early evening, warmed by very effective heaters, and enjoy a lovely relaxed dinner with excellent service. Made everything seem normal again!

Food was good, our waitress was excellent, but.....the atmosphere behind the counter was very tense. The man who was making the coffees seemed very wound up and the manner in which he spoke to his colleagues was rude and abrupt. It made what should have been a relaxing breakfast uncomfortable and tense. It didn't help that our table was right opposite the counter where he was working. At least one female member of staff looked upset after he spoke her. There's absolutely no point in smiling at customers if you are being rude to staff in front of us.

Breakfast was lovely but.... We requested to sit outside as we thought it would be a better option during the current coronavirus climate but felt very uncomfortable with how close all the tables were. There was no way that we could maintain a 1 meter plus distance from the people on the tables either side of us.

Excellent meal in these strange times. The atmosphere and attention to detail by staff couldn't be faulted.

Due to lockdown it is 6 months since we visited Cote Salisbury and how nice it was to see some of the old faces in the restaurant to look after us. The fact that they still knew us is really heartwarming unless it is because we are such a nuisance they couldn't forget us. The Kir Royale was brilliant and the best value anywhere and our meal up to the usual high standard and the Creme Caramel still the best in the Universe. We have had some Cote at Home whilst you have been away and that was also great. Our thanks to the beautiful blue eyed Sandra for taking care of us today and to the young waiter usually on the floor who has had to act as commis today to loose some more weight.

Breakfast here is always fantastic, I can’t wait until the opening hours are returned to normal and the ‘formulae’ offer is back.

Very good welcome from your staff member and our server. Table was clean though not that well spaced. An issue with one of the puddings was dealt with efficiently.

Lovely evening with great food The only disappointment was after being shown to our table we were left for over 15 mins with no water or drinks offered. They were very busy but .....

I wish I had eaten here sooner as i've been missing out. The food was top class with service to match. I will most definitely be eating here again.

Great meal, great service and lovely ambiance! I loved that we were given a choice of tables; My prawn appetizer was pretty amazing, albeit a bit spicy! Our first night in Salisbury and we are quite pleased! Thank you for providing us with one of the finest meals we have had in the UK since we arrived 7 months ago!

Had a perfect meal with the wife for her birthday, the service was excellent and the food was perfect and well seasoned and cooked and presented. Two very happy customers, only realised after paying bill that one side was missing. But was such a great meal we never noticed.

Great to be back. Service and food as good as it’s always been

My mussels were a little overcooked and had shrunk as a consequence. The bowl for my 'empties' was far too small and I had to leave lots in the serving dish. My wife enjoyed her crab mayonnaise and the crème caramel was excellent. Good, friendly service although I had trouble hearing our waiter from behind his face shield.

A lovely day out for us in Salisbury, with lunch at our favourite restaurant. As always, the food was superb, the staff were very professional and friendly, ensuring we had everything we could possibly want. We sat outside in the sun and when it became too hot were moved to a table in the shade without any fuss - in fact, nothing was too much trouble. See you again soon. Stay safe. Jean.

We were given a very nice window table as requested and welcomed with a delightful bottle of bubbly. Friendly and attentive service, a pleasant evening out at last.

Wonderful service, food and drinks, and they so kindly brought out a little cake for my boyfriends birthday, making it very special indeed!

Excellent food , amazing service from the moment we entered the restaurant to the moment we left ,& a wonderful ambience about the restaurant , absolute pleasure

Waitress asked us approx 5 times if everything was okay, interrupting our conversation every time. Whilst I don’t mind being asked once or twice and it is good to check - this was too much and tended to stop our discussions. However, she was a very good member of the staff. Otherwise - great atmosphere and, as usual lovely surroundings

The food was excellent but the service could be improved. The waitress was overworked which impacted her service. The busboy arrived at the table with our mains, but it took nearly 2 minutes before the waitress arrived to place the food on the table. We will definitely be returning soon.

We had a good visit but certainly missed the pre lockdown noise and general bustling restaurant we know and love.
