We arrived 15 mins early, our table was ready. The service was excellent, and attentive. Our orders were taken promptly, and our meals arrived without a long wait. Quality of food excellent.
Lovely food, great service as always. The only restaurant where I am more than happy to leave the 12.5% tip on the bill. Thoroughly recommend.
Good value as usual with wide variety of menu choice; moules au cidre, golden beetroot ,toulouse sausage, calamari, duck confit/potatoes salardaise all tasty & good
Always a lovely welcome, as it was our wedding anniversary we decided to have their 10th anniversary menu starting with a glass of champagne, every course was delicious and well presented. We were going on to the theatre so were unable to linger, but it made a lovely start to our evening.
Restaurant lovely the steak was perfect, however the waiter was a little snotty when we asked for a table away from the door we'd booked weeks before as well!
The lunchtime 'special' menu was a little disappointing. The duck laid on greasy potatoes.... rather grey looking plate of food - not the best combination The pavlova was not a pavlova - a small piece of meringue on top of stewed/fresh fruit. Also the stair rail up to the toilets was extremely sticky!! However, staff friendly and helpful
The service was great, very efficient and friendly. The food was delicious. I especially recommend the charcuterie board for starter and the creme caramel for pudding.
Although we are frequent patrons of Cote in Salisbury and usually enjoy our evening, on this occasion the waiter was far too talkative and had clearly not understood that his job was not to entertain us with his chat but to serve us. The main issue on Saturday, however, was that the room was cold. So cold in fact that we left early - as indeed did our neighbouring diners.
Always a pleasant ambience there, and speedy service for the early evening meal offer as staff know we're all likely to be going on to the Playhouse. I usually enjoy both starter and main course but this particular starter - the beetroot - was dripping with vinegar and overloaded with garnish. The main course - fish in leek and mushroom sauce - more than made up for it, it was delicious.
The food was delicious. My friend and I we both had the duck and the scampi in tomato sauce for starts. Staff was very friendly and there was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant.
The service was first rate & the food excellent well done everybody, an experience that we enjoyed I shall look forward to the next time!
Very enjoyable, we were allowed to take our time and was not rushed out of the restaurant after an extremely enjoyable meal and had paid the bill
lovely gluten free meal, loved the breton tomatoes with goats cheese and the chicken was gorgeous shame i couldn't manage desert. Very friendly and prompt service by the staff, what more could you ask for.
Service this time was a little slower than normal, but it is usually excellent. Lovely bottle of wine with good food will revisit cote again
Generally a good dinner with delicious food and attentive and agreeable service. The only fly in the ointment was the non-availability of two or three items from the 10-year anniversary menu, and of the wine of the month.
Excellent Another wonderful meal. Never had a bad meal ever. Food always good. excellent menus and wines. Staff always cheerful and efficient. Highly recommended. Our most regular venue.
Excellent service, good food and wine, great ambience. Not rushed. Perfect pre-theatre dinner. The waiter and waitresses were all charming and helpful, all adding to a pleasant evening
Very attentive service. Food was very good and plenty of choices for vegetarians.
Excellent food and service, as always, at Cote Salisbury for my recent birthday celebration. The ambience is great. The staff are attentive and friendly. It is my favourite restaurant in Salisbury, and I visit it often, and can never fault it. My personal favourites are the calamari, chicken with wild mushroom sauce, followed by praline crepes. Yummy!
Always an excellent breakfast, especially as I am veggie., and it is good to be able to bring the dog with us. Quite a treat to have avocado for breakfast, and the herb-seasoned veggie sausage is delicious.

Excellent as usual. This is our restaurant of choice in Salisbury for good food, efficient service and excellent value for money for an early evening meal. Thoroughly recommended.
Excellent food and great service. The anniversary menu is a triumph. Great job from a professional and upbeat team all full of enthusiasm and focused on their customers
Four of us had a pre theatre meal last night from the main menu. It is always worth asking for a particular table as they are very helpful. The restaurant was lively and there was a splendid atmosphere ( a bit noisy but you can't have it both ways). The food and service were outstanding. Main menu portions are generous, served swiftly and piping hot. Our waitress looked after us extremely well and we managed a couple of courses in a hour to get to the theatre on time. Not all that cheap at £60 for two including a bottle of wine between the four of us but par for the course and well worth it. Cote is very popular and rightly so.
Excellent, friendly service in a convivial atmosphere and the food was extremely good. The menu remains essentially the same, but is sufficiently large to provide a good variation for the regular visitor. The different menus allow the diner to choose from either a more substantial meal or a lighter snack. An ideal venue to meet up with friends. It's popularity is indicative of the quality o the restaurant.
As always helpful and friendly staff, good food and great seat in the window we will continue to eat there whilst spending time in Salisbury. We are planning to try Cote in Bournemouth.
Another lovely meal at this superb brasserie. The food is always excellent and the staff are really friendly and very efficient (and seem to enjoy their roles). Tomates Breton to start then Tuna Nicoise (the best I have ever tasted). My friend had the pate which was mouthwatering and the Fish Parmentier which was delicious. Highly recommended.
had the 10year anniversary menu. top quality good and free glass of champagne
As always a very congenial staff greeted us. Service was efficient and served by pleasant staff. It was busy but our orders arrived promptly and we were very pleased with all the dishes We always eat at cote btasserie in Salisbury before a theatre performance and it compliments the rest of the evening
All three of us enjoyed a good meal. Very tasty fish soup and excellent duck for me, and a nice glass of Cote de Rhone. VGood service. We'll be back.
Really great food and wine and helpful and friendly staff. We had a lovely evening and will definitely be visiting again when back in Salisbury.
Great as ever. They looked a little short staffed in comparison to normal as we had to wait a while to be served but the food was still great and the service was good. Still one of my favourite places to eat!
Very friendly welcome. Delightful waitor. Very good menu. Choice of food varied although one if our group has an alergy to garlic and found the menu very limited. Delicious food. Lovely evening celebrating 45 years of friendship.
Excellent food with good atmosphere and fantastic staff in an excellent historic location. I would not hesitate to eat here again and thoroughly recommend this resteraunt which is a very good example of this chain.
Really nice food, good atmosphere, pleasant staff. Good value. A regular for us. Might be tempted to try the celebration menu next time perhaps. Weekday menu very good value.
Lovely early evening meal, excellent value for money and good service. I would definitely recommend the risotto it was delicious. Looking forward to our next visit.
Had a very nice meal here...just one thing wasn't quite right with my husbands food and it was dealt with by the manager in a very pleasant and satisfactory way.
The meal was very acceptable . We ate off the anniversary menu, which included a glass of champagne. The staff were attentive and the atmosphere pleasant, other than the rather repetitive background music.
My friend and I visited Cote Brasserie, Salisbury, Wiltshire last week. I had booked a table and we were met by friendly and efficient staff and served with good food at good value for money. We generally visit on a monthly basis.
Friendly staff as usual and good food. Despite a muddle over the orders at the start of the meal that was soon sorted, it was a very pleasant evening. There was one problem, however: both my companion and I had difficulty hearing each other speak due to the overall noise levels, although neither of us is deaf. This was partly caused by the piped music and even more by the 'hard surfaces' which reflected and amplified all sorts of noise. Is there any way this could be alleviated?
Cote Salisbury: Pleasant surroundings, good staff and nice meal. Very enjoyable. Thanks very much. We have often enjoyed a meal at this restaurant when visiting Salisbury.
We visited Salisbury for my husbands birthday and had a great meal in this Cote restaurant, the staff were very good and had a wonderful time
Excellent friendly service as usual. Food excellent and. very good value for money. Very helpful waitress who was happy to advise us on wine choice.

Great grub! Still consistently good food and service at cote. Nice spot in Salisbury just 5 mins from the cathedral too, which is really special.
Have visited here fairly regularly and enjoy the food and good choice on the menu. I had the veal from the specials menu. It was expensive for cote but was worth the money. The only disappointment was the service from one of the waiters. I think they were new but she seemed in a bad mood and it showed, everything seemed too much trouble to the point when she just plonked my dessert on the table not in front of me. I hope this is a one off as the regular staff are usually very friendly and helpful. However it didn't spoil my meal and will certainly go back.
I really like this restaurant. The food was good for a chain and the service was great (Jamie and others). I was surprised because chains can be tricky, but this one has it right.
Last evening we visited Cote to take advantage of a two for one reward on the early evening menu. As I wrote in my last review we were a bit disappointed with the July set menu but am very pleased to say that the August menu was much better, especially for me as it included moules as a main course. We went at 6.30pm and the restaurant was already busy and became even more so as time went on. It can get rather noisy but that is a price to pay for a good, convivial atmosphere. The dishes available were tempting, well cooked and presented and served promptly. The service was as efficient and friendly as it usually is and the cost of £12.95 for three courses is terrific value (especially with a half price deal). Our favourite restaurant in Salisbury at any time of day.
Top service, top food and a tremendous ambience even though it was a Sunday night. If we go back to Salisbury any time soon, we'll definitely be going back there.
Good food, very friendly staff ,more than please to help you from the table I like to sit to the vine. For the cleaning I'm very happy. My wife and I been eating at Cote Brasserie for ten years.
