This was at Cote in Salisbury.... Fantastic ‘Cote d’boeuf’ for a November offer!!! Superb, flavour was great, the wine list recommendation worked really well with this steak choice But it is a large steak - so it is for 2 people.

Good food, speedy service, pleasant surroundings - what more could you want. No further words needed. However I don't like being told how many words I have to use.

Nice meal, with the usual good range of choice, at the end of a busy day. Good service, no fuss - and 'hit the spot'.

Good food as usual, and the service is consistently welcoming. The restaurant was busy, but didn’t feel at all rushed. We will be back yet again in the very near future.

Very friendly staff. Happy to move us from the table originally designated for us to somewhere quieter, food and drinks delivered well and the bill presented professionally.

We had the evening menu. The food was excellent and service attentive. The only issue was the crumble was merely luke warm. This web site 8s poorly designed. The text box does not scroll up. So I cannot see what I am typing!

Great food with excellent service. Two courses at 11.50 for lunch is very good value. I would prefer to settle my own tip, if I decide and at 10%!

Lovely food , great surroundings but busy and took a while to give order. Once done, food flowed, but slightly understaffed for a busy lunchtime.

Delicious meal as usual and my husband really likes the gluten-free menu, there are even little flags on the dishes when they arrive at table to indicate that they are gluten-free. I can't think of anywhere else that makes such an effort (very successfully) with gluten-free options. Salisbury Cote has a lovely atmosphere and the service today was, as always, excellent.

This restaurant always hits the mark even in a busy Saturday evening. The menu offers some of the best choice of a Franch food outside France. A November speciality of Boudin noir was outstanding and their recommended wine of the month was well-chosen and good value.

Had an early evening special before a theatre trip. Superb value for money, food and service were excellent. Would have been a 5* rating if the mussels in my moules frites had not been slightly over cooked. Otherwise faultless.

The service was excellent, the food was lovely and the company was great. The added bonus of the free bottle of wine was very much appreciated by all!

We booked a table for 6pm as we were going to the theatre. We have done this before and have been impressed by the efficiency and speed of service. This time was no different and we had a very enjoyable meal not feeling we had to rush at all.

Wonderful service, wine and food. Their creme brûlée is to die for and their lunchtime menu in the week is fantastic value at only £13.50 for three courses for consistently fabulous food. We can’t fault thank you for another lovely afternoon.

Warm welcome on arrival and shown to our seats straightaway even though we had arrived 15 minutes early. An excellent range of food on offer and very efficient staff.

Enjoyable as ever, excellent staff and service but I do think that the food quality has dipped a little, perhaps cutting back on the quality of ingredients..? The décor and atmosphere are lovely, always a nice buzz about the place, good varied menu.

Staff are very friendly and courteous and the service is very good. A good menu with a lot of choice and the food is excellent. Unusually for a chain they have a full celiac menu. Coates is always our first choice in Salisbury. Never been disappointed.

We had a fab lunch. The Côte De Boeuf was exquisite! Highly recommended. The staff as always very attentive. Wonderful selection of wine. We look forward to our next visit.

Excellent experience. Quiet table by window requested - this was booked for us. Food and service very good indeed and complimentary Kir Royales (Mother's Birthday) a lovely generous treat. Not visited the Salisbury Cote Brasserie before, but will certainly be doing so again.

We had a very nice early evening pre-theater meal at Cote Salisbury. It is a lovely chilled place with pleasant staff. Starters were very good......A la carte mains were delicious but maybe a little small for the price compared with the "Early bird" menu.

Had an excellent lunch in very pleasant surroundings with friendly and helpful staff.. The crepes were freshly prepared and delicious, and the house red was really nice. It certainly ticked all the boxes for me!

We had a Fantastic food and attentive service. Another splendid evening as you excpect when going to this very good restaurant. When the waitress heard it was a birthday celebration she brought along a celebratory cassis drink for the birthday girl.

This was more a business meeting than a social occasion. With people coming from London and Winchester, we needed to be able to eat and talk about our plans and ideas simultaneously. The staff were suitably discreet but, as always, friendly. We succeeded in concluding the business that needed to be done.

Friendly service, food timely and tasted good. I can see that they were trying to create atmosphere but if lights are so low then there should be candles at the table.

Good service and friendly welcome. Tables nicely spaced out and not too close together. Menu choices were pleasantly varied although portions were on the small side.

Went for Sunday lunch. Food was excellent, our waitress was efficient, cheerful and welcoming. It was very good to see the staff actively assisting less mobile customers. Table choice was limited, felt a little as though we were in a corridor but to be entirely fair we didn't ask to be moved so don't know what response we would have received. All in all a very pleasing experience.

Very good in that we had a nice table for a school reunion group and were not hurried to give up the table. Waitress, unfortunately, forgot to place one of the orders so one of our party had to wait but she was very apologetic and gave a reduction from bill. Food good quality but we were disappointed that a set menu was not available on a Saturday.

Very good service. Starter was excellent as was the pud! Main course was less exciting but then we were eating at 4 in the afternoon.

An excellent meal but check your bill carefully to make sure you have not been charged for items you have not had like an odd item of beer !!!!!!

As always, the food and the ambiance cannot be faulted. The menus are exciting and we look forward to the monthly changes. We enjoy every visit .
