First time at Cote Brasserie and we were very impressed with the food. The first table we were sat at was not ideal and we were quickly moved to another. Our waitress was very friendly and had a good knowledge of the menu and wine list. All in all, a very enjoyable evening.

The only thing stopping this from a perfect score was when we asked for a second bottle of white and were politely told there was no chilled. Whilst we appreciate the honesty of the staff it was a shame to have to change wine mid-meal! Otherwise, food, service and atmosphere were total perfection! Thank you!

We had a lovely evening of very tasty food in nice surroundings. We opted for the Chateaubriand and were not disappointed! Although the restaurant was very busy, the staff did their best to make sure there wasn’t anything missing and took time to make suggestions.

The floor was dirty with spilled wine/water. The table we were offered hadn’t been cleaned.

Good value with the free bottle of wine. Reasonably priced and decent fillet steak. Slightly overcooked despite specifically asking for more rare than medium. Main waiter was very good. Restaurant was pretty full and will return.

Stopped here for brunch and sat outside. Ordered morning cocktail and food. Waiting an age before reminding them that we wanted out cocktails before our breakfast - they then arrived soon after. Food was awesome and cooked perfectly. Then tried to get the bill - waited ages for a server to appear - asked for it - waited a long time again - asked someone else - got the bill soon after - again waited for them to return so I could pay - got bored and went inside to pay at the desk. Overall waited 25 minutes from wanting to pay until paying. People waiting for our table couldn't get served until we left. Come on Cote - please sort this out - we're annoyed, you make less money and the next customer waits longer or gives up and leaves.

Location close to the theater is great for us and we enjoyed our pre-matinee lunch.

Helpful staff and the food and atmosphere was as you expect

We ordered two French onion soups to begin and only one arrived. I waited for mine and waited. My friend had nearly finished his before I managed to attract the attention of a waitress to ask why I was still waiting. Our girl said she thought I had ordered just one soup. Then I waited again .Eventually the soup arrived but I did not enjoy it or finish eating it as time was flying. We had another long delay before the next course was served.

The food and service were not impressive, and the restaurant does not represent good value for money, particularly when a 12.5% gratuity is added to the bill.

Excellent pre theatre meal. Whilst we were advised of a possible delay on arrival we were served promptly and managed three courses before the show. Good food and price.

Our return visit to Cote in Salisbury on Saturday night was back to its usual high standards. The French waitress was lovely and very professional, as she has been on the previous occasions that we have had her serve our table. The food was delicious and we can’t wait to return. Glad everything was back as it should be!

Thoroughly enjoyed are visit to Cotes Salisbury. We were welcomed with a great smile and given a choice of a window table or mid restaurant. The food was most excellent and the staff all so friendly and knowlagle regarding the food and also the wine list. I must commend the Manager Camilla not only for looking after a number of tables including us but on the running of the restaurant. Very rare to see these days !! Well done Camilla on managing the restaurant and looking after the staff but also creating a great ambience with the customers at the fore front. What a great experience. Thank You Camilla and team Well done. We also liked the tall chap with dark hair.Very polite and friendly.

Cote is our go to place in Salisbury and have never had a bad experience until tonight. Halfway through my Poulet Grillet I pulled out a 6’’ long hair embedded in the chicken. The food was taken away but after 15 minutes no replacement had arrived. We asked for the bill and the manager apologised and deducted my food cost but damage was done. It wasn’t dealt with well. Very disappointed Cote!

It was so lovely and the perfect way to start Christmas

6 of us for dinner, unfortunately the kitchen forgot my meal, so only 5 were served their meals it took another 10 minutes for my meal to come out once it was brought to the waitress's attention that I was still waiting for mine. Otherwise we love Cote and usually the service and food are excellent

Lovely meal, polite staff and very good value for money

Early dinner with a friend, very busy so a little noisy but food and service were good as usual.

I have already posted a review for Cote as they asked separately but it was very disappointing - /tasteless starter/tough chicken/ very noisy & automatically added tip : ( This is unlike my other Cote experiences in Bath and Norwich which have been lovely.

I meet a friend on a monthly basis and we always dine at Cote, Salisbury because we enjoy the food, value for money and friendly and professional staff.
