As normal food & drink at Cotê was 100% Slight problem with table not being ready as two ladies drinking only coffee were given our table and stated very long time. Had to ask for second glass of wine four times Will still keep using Cotê as it is best in Salisbury

We regularly dine at Cote and have always been very happy, however the service last night was poor!, We had to ask for our aperitif after waiting some time, normally we are asked on giving us the menus. Again after finishing our starters we had to ask if we could order some wine. The food was very good.

The staff were most attentive and quickly resolved an allergy issue with one of the dishes; well done. The food was delicious; if anything the chips were over seasoned. Please can the salt be reduced in the kitchen and let the diners add their own salt to taste? I enjoy my visits to Côte. As I cannot tolerate excessive sodium I have to ration my visits to this excellent establishment.

Outstanding service, the manageress went out of her way to cater to my very restrictive dietary needs making my evening very enjoyable. thank you for a fantastic evening

St Germain g&t was delicious although the menu choices to get the free offer was overly complicated! The service was certainly not with a smile and we had to ask for a couple of things more than once. I was really looking forward to the lobster frites but it was rather chewy although tasty. Overall a pleasant enough evening but won’t rush to return

Excellent lunch at Cote. Beautifully fresh and zingy gazpacho soup - perfect for this hot weather - followed by the grilled salmon with ratatouille, from the Prestige menu. Hubby had the duck with cherries from the a la carte menu. Both of us delighted with the food, friendly service and ambiance. Well done Cote Salisbury!

We had a colleague's 50th there at lunch. the staff were fantastic. My favourite restaurant in Salisbury

We eat at Cote regularly, and once again the food was superb and good value. My only small criticism this time was the service. Waitress could have been more engaging and placing of plates could have been a little less nonchalant !! Otherwise good.

good food and nice staff but as it filled up it became far too noisy to be enjoyable - luckily we had come early and weren't bothered for too long

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the Cote Brasserie. The restaurant was very busy and a little bit noisy. Service was a little bit slow. But, we were in no hurry. However, this did not distract from a very pleasant evening. My friends have emailed me saying how much they enjoyed the food. Would we go back again? Yes.

Everything was as expected. Friendly, quick reception, followed by delicious food. An enjoyable experience for everyone.

It was a lovely lunch with a round table in the window. Staff were attentive even though it was busy. I was treating my sister for a belated Birthday lunch. The food was as good as ever and it was great to visit Salisbury again and I like the location.

Nice food but felt like we were rushed through our meal. Felt that the waiting staff didn’t really care about us as customers and yet again had to ask more than once for water. Bill was also incorrect. We used to love this restaurant but it’s starting to lack its special feel.

Reliably good and authentic French cookery, friendly, attentive servers, very fairly priced. My partner had the moules frites, our griend the steak frites and me the pea/bean risotto. All were delicious and the portions not ovwrwhelming. Always seems to work out to about £25/head - we generally skip deserts. Takes off where Cafe Rouge stops and costs about the same. Highly recommended.

Another excellent meal at Cotes. Steak tartare and chicken liver parfait were delicious. We chose the Chateaubriand from the weekend specials menu as we had never tried that before and it was cooked perfectly and extremely tasty. My only slight critiscm is that it headlines it as £19.95 for two to share. Unfortunately not noticed was further down the menu it said priced per person. I personally feel that's a bit misleading as it should just state the price as £39.90 if that's the case to stop any confusion but all I will say that it was totally worth it as a special treat.

We were disappointed in our visit for my birthday yesterday! We notice a real difference when Alex is not front of house (he was not working yesterday) The staff were surly and unwelcoming, not the usual bonhomie! We had booked the complimentary Gin & Tonic offer (but had to ask for this), starters were good, but the Half Chicken and salmon mains were overcooked. A real lack lustre visit to one of our favourite restaurants. Shame!

We always enjoy it very much and it’s very convenient

Food was very good. On a table where staff were rushing about and past you all the time, Would choose a better located table next time. It was rather cool in the restaurant. We were told the staff liked it that way because they were rushing about , but admittedly as after thought they did say they would alter it for us, but we felt awkward then and declined. Not just once, but twice we were given a green salad, which we did not ask for and then we were charged for one of them, which we had to put right. The complimentary gin and tonic offer was superb. Portion size was reasonable. Staff very friendly and approachable. Had to ask for water bowls for lobster dishes.

Fantastic atmosphere and service. Really attentive and professional staff. My only niggle was the size of the lobster. I would prefer to pay £25 for half an adult beast than what was clearly a juvenile only just within catch limits. Just a thought

Go regularly to Cotes and have never had a bad meal - staff are lovely and food is great.
