Noise suppression in the main room would improve the atmosphere.
We arrived as a great deal of people were leaving. It took a little time to be greeted and we were offered a table by the front door - we asked whether another one was available- the waiter suggested we sit there and he would sort something out. We waited and seemed to be ignored. A couple came in and were seated - we continued to wait. Our thoughts about this table were confirmed it was very draughty even with door closed. We eventually decided to leave and enjoyed a meal at another restaurant. We have eaten at various Cote’s around the country this year and we were looking forward to visiting the Salisbury restaurant.
Good, fast and prompt service. Tasty food. glad someone offers pre-theatre meals.
Sadly, I was unable to attend. Friends who did said it was all fine.
Pre theatre meal. Excellent choice, good service and all in an hour.
First visit to COTE but it certainly will not be the last. Excellent food and service at a very reasonable price. This could be food heaven.
We were shown to a table for two next to the door. We refused to sit there because of the noise and obvious commotion. We were given an alternative provided we were away by 18 15hrs. If you are prepared to destroy any ambience you cannot rate your customers very highly
Excellent meal. Good service & really appreciated the free drink because we were celebrating my wife’s birthday.
Always a great meal really enjoyed the ambience service and food
Occasionally we think we are going to Côte too often, we try some where new, then we wee sense and come back to Côte.
Food ok but portions tiny. Main course more like a starter. Two requests trying to sell us "more drinks" ( do you think we are stupid, if we wanted more drinks, we would call the waitress over). Wine overpriced cf meals in France. Worst of all, NO BREAD. When asked for some I was offered sourdough. Have any of the managers of Cote ever eaten in France?? It comes free and it's sliced baguette. Not a terrible experience tonight but cannot wait to get back to the Hexagon.
Just love the food. Good quality & selection for all Staff are superb in Salisbury. Such a busy restaurant but they always find time to check you are happy with your seating area - food etc.

The menu (selection) is good and mostly the cooking is spot on although I thought my pork dish was a bit too salty
Had breakfast with my daughter delicious+× great value & service Sat outside in the sunshine and watched the world go by . Highly recommended.
This was a pre theatre visit so speed was of the essence and the well cooked, tasty food from the set menu arrived promptly. Friendly, charming waiter. Thought a small side dish of rather watery creamed spinach overpriced at £3.95 and very disappointing.
Always a pleasure. Have visited countless times and will again.
My mum and I always come here for lunch but today we were a little disappointed by the service. We were given slightly warm rosè in an ice bucket with no ice and then when we were finished with our mains we waited 15 minutes for someone to bring us a dessert menu but in the end we decided to just pay up and leave. A little disappointed really.
food was excellent, service a bit slow, i had to wait about half an hour for the starter to arrive, however the waitress who was looking after me was on the ball and realized I had been waiting a long time and got it sorted.
As usual, a nice French break with delicious food and good service.
As ever, good food, good service in a comfortable setting
Very enjoyable but the baby spinach starter was very salty and couldn't eat it all.
Great food, waitress very helpful and friendly- needed to leave on time as visiting the theatre and Cote made sure we weren’t late. Thank you.
Lively and pleasant restaurant. Crowded with pre-theatre go-ers so you need to book early evening. Usual wide choice on the menu including monthly specials. Excellent service and value.
As usual everything was lovely. We will definitely be back again.
Excellent food & service as usual, this restaurant is consistently good.
Very. Good and the food tasty with good service, thanks
Pre theatre dinner at 17.45 - 2 hours before show.... I tables not cleared from previous guests... Starter arrived before aperitif (cold and over cooked calamari).... Staff were trying hard but they were 2 people short...... Main was good, wine excellent but when we asked for a few minutes before choosing desert they brought the bill. Then it was so long before they came to take order we did not have enough time. Overall very disappointed. 2 diners left without ordering .., Lady on next table asked for vinegar for chips and it. And in a dish! Thea mager took the calamari off the bill but still left a feeling of disappointment! Will be a long time before we try cote again! Allen Diskin
Lovely position. Enjoyed the street music and good food. Staff very helpful.
Super efficient service and excellent food. Dedicated gluten free menu. One of the best restaurants on our high street 5 star
The food and service was excellent and staff friendly and professional
Delightful staff. Waiting between courses a bit slow, however it was a very busy time of day - 6.30pm - pre theatre.
Great food at a fantastic price. pot au chocolat dessert is THE BEST!
Great food and service, lovely location. Gets a bit busy at lunch time!
Lovely setting in the town. Delicious food, set menu good value and helpful staff despite it being a very busy lunchtime. Highly recommend.
Pre-theatre dinner was deliciously cooked and most efficiently managed. Splendid
Welcoming and attentive staff, not intrusive and accommodated all our requests. Food good and we did not have to wait long for it
Very nice meal preceded by an excellent cocktail of the month and so well looked after by the staff as ever. Thank you
The food and service was good. However BEWARE! They automatically add a 12.5% service charge to the bill. This is NOT optional.
A lovely meal promptly served after a slow start. We were there at 5.50 and were finished in good time to get to the play Relatively Speaking at the Salisbury Playhouse in good time for a 7.30 performance. My wife and I both made excellent choices from the menu and everything we had was good. As ever the staff were lovely. One of our favourite restaurants which we go to each time we go to either The Playhouse or City Hall.

A lovely meal plenty of choice there were at least 3 options I loved the sound of. and tables not too close. There was a problem with the free cocktail but it was soon sorted by the manager. As it was my birthday as well I was given a little goodie bag as well to make up for the hassle. Will definitely go back.
Staff were very attentive and the food as usual very good.
Delicious lunch. Beautifully prepared and presented. Delightful and caring service.
Excellent food as usual, our waiter should be taught how to clear plates from a table correctly, instead of just piling them on top of each on table in front of customers.
As always a good experience. Location, food and ambience and service excellent
Regularly eat here because the food and service are consistently excellent.
Excelkent food and service in pleasant surroundings. Salisbury is a charming town
Had a really lovely breakfast today, great food and service
Thank you so much for a wonderful wedding lunch at your Salisbury Cote. We chose Cote for our wedding lunch because we’ve always had amazing food and service. We were a party of 10. The service was brilliant; very attentive, friendly and professional. Our table waitress was Jo. She was brilliant ! So lovely and helpful. The food was great, as always. All our guests were very happy and found their food delicious, and enjoyed the Cote experience. Thank you so much. Highly recommend Cote at Salisbury!
+Once again we had an excellent evening at Cote Salisbury. I had a craving for the steak tartare and it did not disappoint. It dawned on me that I have not revisited any other restaurant in the world as often as I have been here !! The food is excellent and very good value.
