Food was good but the service was very disappointing. I had to ask for water twice and only got it just before we left. We ordered fries as our side and did not receive them and none of the staff were available to ask for them. Staff seemed under staffed for a busy Memorial Day Sunday so there was no one to ask for any sauces or the fries. Waited 15 mins for the bill and another 10 mins before I got up and went to pay for the bill at the front myself. Unusual for a Cote to have very poor service.

Every expectation was met for fine dinning with the exception of the queue to get in which was very slow - but it was a Sunday lunch time. But that's a trvial point as the food, service and dinning environment were excellent. I hope you are proud of the Cote Brasserie as you should be. Thank you. Richard

Fantastic food and service, made a memorable 21st birthday very special!

The restaurant was busy but the food was served quickly and was consistently good. What was also noticable was the polite and friendly serving staff. The manager was and always is very friendly and arranged for us to have a different table. It is good to see how you consistently maintain such high standards.

Food was okay but nothing particularly special compared to other similar French Bistrot chains. Service was poor - long wait time to even order drinks and waiter was rude when we asked. One food item we asked for - bread to share - never came, instead the starters came out within just a few minutes of ordering, which was rushed. The same waiter was also rude when asked about a food request with our main meals. In general, not a particularly good experience and plenty of other restaurants within the area that do much better.

We had a very good time at Cote restaurant in Salisbury the food was great as was the service.

Our two friends enjoyed themselves so much with our pre theatre meal that they want to repeat the experience asap. mosenjoyable

We are regular customers of Cote Salisbury. Today we chose to eat off the prestige menu I chose the pork tenderloin which was dry and tough and overcooked. I was then asked what what would I like, I asked for steak frites which was bashed so thin and over cooked I couldn’t eat it. My husband didn’t complain but his onion soup wasn’t hot enough and his sea bass was over cooked. The manager was very sympathetic and dealt with this experience very professionally.

My best meal yet at Cote Salisbury - beautifully cooked fish (whole sea bream) and my favourite spinach side. Creme caramel for dessert. Perfect!

Have never booked on line before. Really easy. Table ready, whilst two customers in front were turned away because they HADN'T booked and there were no tables available

A slight human error was made with our order but the staff more than made up for this. They were all just so attentive, polite and happy. Very pleased with our dining experience and would definitely recommend

Great staff, excellent food as always. Probably a bit unfair to tar Cote with this brush but... the drunken guy near the door (Wednesday, 7pm) was totally tedious and getting louder and more obnoxious. I did wonder why the only people in that part of the restaurant were drunkard+1 and myself, wife and 7 year old. You seated everyone else away from d+1. We had to cover 7 year old's ears from the language! Is there a loyalty scheme we're not aware of whereby you an sit away from d+1s? Otherwise, keep up the good work!

Great friendly service and our two little ones were looked after nicely with colouring book and fun stickers. Tried the casoulet and was blown away - very authentic as spent some time around Toulouse. Kids meals went down well too so will definitely be back!

The atmosphere, as usual, was lovely!!!! We enjoyed the starters very much! I had French onion soup, and my partner had the salmon. My partner enjoyed his main of chicken, however my fillet steak was disappointing! I asked for it to be cremated, and it was on the outside, but bloody in the middle. To have sent it back would have meant a delay as my partner would have had to finish his meal alone. I explained my disappointment to the waitress and my meal was deducted from the bill!

As a regular visitor to Cote I was not disappointed on my last visit to celebrate a birthday. As usual, the staff were most welcoming and helpful and the food prepared and served perfectly.
