Excellent quality food and service. Restaurant was busy as it was a Saturday night but the service was excellent. We had a very nice evening!
Lovely brunch. Waiter forgot our cold drinks in the Formule breakfast deal but very quickly rectified. Love Cote am a regular customer and that won’t be changing anytime soon!

As always a very tasty meal. We ate from the set prestige menu, which was excellent value. The staff were helpful and attentive and friendly. Our order of French beans was forgotten but was quickly brought once this was pointed out. We will be back.
I brought my sister and 2 cousins to eat in the Salisbury Cote on Friday evening 7th June. I had been several times before but a first visit for the other 3. We chose from the early evening set menu and found it all delicious! A charming and friendly waiter added to our enjoyment. Many thanks!
Went to Cotê as last chance for January menu Personally I particularly like the Lamb Shank Super dinner with normal friendly efficient staff Had a nice evening despite the weather Thank you Cotê
Excellent service excellent staff lovely setting would highly recommend to anyone for food and drink and excellent service menu looks very nice seems good value for money and nice setting
A good choice of food, lovely service and good prices what more could you want? Its a busy popular, well run place with menus to suite every occassion.
Excellent meal at Côte in Salisbury. Great service from the staff who were very friendly, polite and efficient. We had a 3 course meal and each course arrived quickly, and was pretty much faultless. Very pleased with our experience and would highly recommend this restaurant.
Bright welcome, food good as alway, friendly service and good value.

We had a very poor experience. We had elderly family over from America and felt that Cote Salisbury would be a safe bet for a quiet evening meal, as we had eaten there before and always enjoyed the experience. The food was good and the service, but when later at 9.30 we were the last diners in the rear of the restaurant, things took a turn for the worse. A group of four came in making so much noise that we could not hear ourselves speak. My husband went across and mentioned this to them and the waiter at their table. The din decreased a little, but was still too loud in the empty room. We decided to leave, and when paying the bill, the waiter told my husband that they should have known better, as three of the four were staff! When outside, one of our daughters told us that on leaving some at the table were making rude faces at us. We went back in and challenged them about their behaviour. There were no apologies, just confrontation. It was quite apparent that they were drunk. Hopefully the manager will make it clear to staff what is not acceptable behaviour.
An extremely enjoyable experience with both the food and staff contributing to it. Very good value for the dishes we chose and they tasted good!
Food is good and service is very good but the menu needs changing more regulay as you have regulars. Very good atmosphere and love going there
Lovely food, friendly staff and a beautiful place to eat and enjoy good company.
A delightful Easter Sunday lunch with all the family. Excellent service, delicious food and good value. The team are always very friendly and accommodating. We will be back
Great food, fine service and wine shame about the badgering emails.
Great service, excellent menu, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and value for money.
Excellent food and superb service from the team. Would recommend the March specials as the monkfish was very good. Will go back again as it’s a regular lunch/dinner restaurant for us and our dog.
I thought the monthly special haddock was poor - too many lentils and I played spot the spinach. Such a shame as this restaurant is our pre theatre regular haunt. Seemed understaffed tonight too with slow service
Another great lunch at Cote Salisbury. The food was lovely, especially the black pudding starter, and as always, the service was brilliant, unobtrusive yet friendly and helpful.
Table server could have been more friendly, but she was very efficient. Food was good (although fish pie not consistent with our two previous visits). We like Cote and will continue to return.
Absolutely lovely breakfast today with you and as always it was superb
Excellent, and fab service as always lovely staff, food superb wonderful menu lovely choices and the sharing dessert was lovely , wine pairing superb lovely all round experience
Lovely spot away from traffic noise. We spent a really enjoyable evening here on Monday 1st April. The staff were friendly and very helpful with explaining aspects of the menu. The food was really delicious and perfect portion size.A real bonus was the availability of good wines by the glass, this not limited to the usual three or four. Reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend and revisit. Thank you to all the staff at The Côte Brasserie.
The foods is delicious and we did much enjoyed it as lovely relaxing. The service is well Job and good cleaning also friendly. It’s easy online for booking.
We always enjoy dining at Cote in Salisbury a lovely location courteous staff and excellent service and great food we will return on our next visit to Salisbury
Lovely ambiance and food, waiting staff very polite and human. Had to ask for complimentary drink we earned through booking online, but other than that, perfect and will be back!!
Our favourite restaurant in Salisbury and always a good choice. It’s nice to see a different and varied menu each month but still have favourites on the a la carte menu.
Unfortunately we got off to a slow start waiting for 15 minutes for our drinks order to be taken but once that was done the rest of the experience was up to its usual high standard. The complimentary rhubarb martini was delicious, even my husband thought so to my despair as I normally get his cocktail as well. The scallop starter was divine and a generous portion size and the steak tartare never fails to deliver. The special lamb chop main was again delicious, cooked perfectly pink and the roquefort butter not being too overpowering. The herby poussin dish was one of the most tastiest chicken dishes my husband had ever had. Another excellent meal. I would like to note that the staff seemed to be a bit under pressure and on occasions practically running around which does spoil the dining experience slightly.
We love coming to Cote for breakfast and the early evening menu usually. The Mother's Day menu sounded lovely, but we're disappointed the chicken had run out. Had to wait a long time to be servedeven with water, unusual for Cote. The Kir Royale free cocktail was served in a wine glass but all four on our table looked different strengths. My husband's warm sauce for the salad was cold and he had a hair in his dinner, and his crumble although delicious was. Like warm, they're usually bubbling. We did have a kind discount from the bill. The rest of the food was delicious as usual, but I felt the customer service tonight wasn't the usual high standard. We still left a tip as the staff were working hard and we love cote!
Very enthusiastic table attendant who was knowledgeable about the menu and was generally very pleasant.
Salad Frisée starter followed by first time with April menu Haddock & veal chop both superb Normal 100% Cotê service and value Shared a Creme Brûlée for desert - perfect Thanks Cotê
We had a lovely lunch at Côté in Salisbury. The staff were fabulous, the food was amazing and the aumbience was great. Would 100% recommend it.
Tres bien...I met my sisters for dinner - as they were coming from quite a way they were late and the staff managed to continue to be polite and attentive. Food was great and atmosphere too. My sister from Sheffield said it had a proper French Bistro feel! keep up the great work Alex and crew! (Complimentary Gin cocktail was nice too)
Really enjoyed our business lunch. Good food as usual, briskly served by experienced staff. Whatever the Côte formula, don’t change a thing.
My group were not disappointed - good choice of dishes including vegetarian, good to have some smaller plates, reasonable value and friendly and efficient service.
Absolutely beautiful dinner. Could not have asked for better service, always an absolute pleasure dining with Côte, an authentic French experience with wonderful welcoming and friendly staff.
Thoroughly enjoyable meal with excellent food and convivial atmosphere.Very pleasant waiting staff who were only too happy to oblige. Will certainly be going again.
Lovely food, great atmosphere & attentive service! Always a pleasure coming here!
cod goujons are one of my favourite dishes but yet again they were over cooked and dry. Disappointing other wise it would have been an excellent meal.
After we ordered a waiter filled 6 buckets with ice ,3 were right next to our table and with the noise we could not hear one another. A professional considerate waiter would have taken each bucket to the ice machine. Eventually our breakfasts arrived and we had to ask where are drinks were. We were told they were on the way! We asked again but another waiter and the hot drinks arrived when we were half way through our breakfasts and then the fruit juices arrived. There was no apology forthcoming. My husband spoke to someone when we were leaving and they did apologise but felt it was to late. We would not have left a tip with the service we received but it’s included. I have worked in this industry myself and expect better service and glasses to be cleaned and dried correctly. Sadly a disappointing experience.
Our meal was very good, it arrived in a timely fashion, however the restaurant was not busy at 5pm, easy to choose on a short menu, which ensures that ingredients are always fresh.
Great food as ever, love the choice of menus (inc seasonal March menu), the complimentary drinks via website membership, the staff are always great, especially at Salisbury. We love coming here time and time again and are so lucky to have it on our doorstep.
Lovely food and good service - shame all the cafeterias had been broken! Also a shame 12.5% service charge automatically added to bill regardless how many people in party and on any meal - we went for breakfast. Will be return8ng though, but will remember about the service charge!
Eating at Cote Brasserie, Salisbury is always a pleasure. The food is consistently of a high standard, the staff are friendly & very helpful. Simply put this is a great place to eat.
The team were extremely busy yet still managed to maintain their excellent levels of service that i have come accustomed to as Cote Salisbury
Easily booked online, lovely warm welcome by staff. Very pleasant experience with husband and two good friends. We all enjoyed a gin cocktail and delicious, tasty food. Fantastic.

A family birthday lunch for four of us. I have criticised front of house reception on occasions but today was faultless. We were expected, greeted warmly and led to our preferred table First impressions are really important and today made the experience first class. The food, service and wine were up to their usual very high standards and the chateubriand was perfectly cooked and presented. In all, the lunch lived up to the excellent reputation we have come to expect over the years from a very popular restaurant.
Excellent food and service and good value for money as usual
Always reliable and consistent service and food. Varied menu with good selection of specials and lunch menus. Great food cooked with care: hot chocolate made the French way, with real chocolate; crepes that are crispy not soggy; awesome brunch menu including freshly squeezed juice. Great food, great value, friendly service.
Had a lovely lunch today my Tuna Nicoise was excellent & my father thoroughly enjoyed his fish stew. Great attentive service and a lovely atmosphere. I have enjoyed each visit and the food has been of a very high standard consistently.
