The food was excellent, particularly impressed with the rib-eye steak and the fish parmentier. The service was generally good, with one slight slip-up, which was very nicely handled. I'm sure we'll want to go again, either here or to another Cote Brasserie.
Excellent service and food. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The food was freshly cooked and well presented. The service was helpful and unobtrusive. It has become our favourite restaurant in Reigate.
Had a lovely Good Friday lunch......top quality food, which was good value and there was a nice atmosphere too. Thoroughly recommend it anyone who likes brasserie dining.
By far the best Value French Restaurant.Food was Excellent, service was excellent and overall we had a very good meal. What not to like about Cote?!
My wife and I had an excellent anniversary lunch. Couldnt fault the meals or service. Will definitely return soon. I had Boudin Noir as a starter, followed by tuna nicoise. Both delicious.
Lovely breakfast this morning as usual, good service and very child friendly. Very reasonably priced too for a family breakfast out for a family of four
Good service. Food always up to a good standard. A place you can absolutely rely on. Tuna Nicoise very good. Shame the crab and avocado starter now part of set menu though.
Service was really good, and most of our party of 6 enjoyed their food but a couple of dishes weren't great, especially the salad nicoise.
Lovely food, beautifully presented. Staff were efficient and friendly. Prices were good value, especially the Early Evening Menu, which changes every month. Breton Cider is unlike our own cider, non-fizzy, quite dry, very drinkable!
Very good food and good service. We did not have to wait even though we were told a couple of burners were not working and some food might not be available.
menu limited because of kitchen problems which we were not informed of prior to arrival however food still good.
Very friendly and helpful. A very enjoyable experience. You feel very safe eating there if you are a coeliac as you know the food will definitely be gluten free.
The food was as expected - usual reliable Cote quality. However the service was dreadful. we set in front of dirty plates for 30 min and finally asked for someone to clear the table. Then we were given our birthday cake but no knife, plates or forks arrived with it - again we had to ask after 10 min waiting. The only time we actuallygotoroactively approached when they had to tell us what they ran out of. Overall we spent 2.5 hrs in the restaurant - it just dragged on with the constant waiting.
Great food, great atmosphere. Friendly service. There was no need to rush at the end of the meal. We didn't have to wait long for our courses. A really relaxing evening. Looking forward to our next visit.
The food was excellent. Restraint atmosphere / appearance was very smart. Servers were attentative. Lots of gluten free and vegetarian options. Would go back again
It was amazing. Went for a anniversary dinner and got looked after and served so much by Christian, he have us a free glass of bubbly to celebrate. Thank you
Six of us lunched. Service and food were excellent. We were there from 1 - 3.30 pm, lunch was relaxed and courses brought with time in between to give breathing space. Definitely recommend.
Great food we arrived for an early meal before a cinema trip. Staff were happy to accommodate us with a smile on their face Will be back soon thank you.
Food, service and staff were brilliant. Choices were good for all tastes and portions were just right. I wouldn't fault this dining experience in any way
Absolutely lovely food, greeted with a glass of bubbles for my husbands birthday. Perfect birthday dinner! Would definitely return and recommend Cote to family and friends.
Out for an evening with friends and as always a lovely meal. It was a very busy evening but the service was as good as ever.
Good food and service at reasonable prices, with a varied menu, one of our party was a vegetarian and there was a separate menu which was very good. I would definitely return.
Was very good, had the basic early evening menu which had plenty of options. Service was great but got slightly chaotic towards the end as restaurant filled up
We went for a business lunch in the afternoon. The food and a great and the restaurant was spotless, and service with a smile too.
Good service, lovely food, nice champagne and good selection of wines. Would certainly recommend. Staff are always attentive and keen to do their best for you.
This is my favourite restaurant as not only is the food delicious the staff are so friendly and polite it makes the whole experience amazing. I would recommend cote to everyone.
Greeting on arrival done with a smile and putting customer first.Attention to all details of service and still the smile was there. We were in the brasserie for two and a half hours and all was well. this is normal in all of the brasseries I have visited. On repas!
Had a very good confit of duck. Others had steak and fish parmentier which they enjoyed. Service was good and friendly but the table in the window can be very noisy because it is near the area where the crockery is handled.
Always great value and always great food. Restaurant was able to accommodate us even though our journey from Bristol was quicker then anticipated and we arrived an hour early.
Three of us arrived early evening to a warm welcome. There was a wide ranging menu and reasonably priced drinks, well paced service and a good atmosphere: what more could anyone want ?
Really enjoyed the evening. The food was very well presented and delicious. The atmosphere was buzzing and the staff friendly. Five more words now to find to meet the required minimum.....hmmmm.
Excellent service, great food, great atmosphere. We had an excellent birthday dinner of steak and chips. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cote Reigate to my friends and family.
Great place to meet up with friends from various directions, Great meal, and attentive staff. Parking was the only problem for one of our guests who never made the meal> However he had a take-out carefully wrappe. Thank-you.
Great food atmosphere and service. Would go again for dinner or lunch. The restaurant was busy. The staff helpful Food very fresh and hot. Desserts a must have
Reigate Cote is one of our favourites. Particularly a window seat. Delicious set lunch , new choices for September. We both chose different fish. Really tasty.Liz Jones
Excellent food and attentive service as usual. Our favourite restaurant in Reigate. The manager was unhappy about how long we had to wait for our starters, so we were given them for free!
Cote catered well for our party comprising two under two's. Prompt service and tasty breakfast. Good value for the quality of the food as well.
We got excellent service from attentive and friendly staff. There's a wide range on the a la carte menu but we had the set menu. The food was tasty and well presented .
Very enjoyable lunch and courteous, friendly service. Always a good standard of food reasonably priced and would recommend to friends. Fish dishes to be recommended.
Service was awful. A long wait between ordering and receiving mains. Steak cooked incorrectly/food received was cold. Dessert menu given waited 20mins to order. Tables arriving after us were able to eat 3 course. We only had mains. Awful experience will never go back.
I booked this restaurant as a treat for friends to celebrate my birthday and we had the Cote 10 year Anniversary menu. All started well with a lovely table by the open window and we enjoyed the included glass of champagne. Starters were excellent, the mains mostly the same - the sea bass was unfortunately served with braised fennel that was too hard and coarse. The reason for the lower rating was a problem with one of the desserts. The crepe was supposed to be flamed with Grand Marnier. Our waiter wasn't able to do this successfully, so instead of having the alcohol burnt off it tasted overpoweringly of alcohol and was unpleasant, so not eaten. Our waiter was very apologetic and offered to remove it from the bill, but then returned to say that, as it was a set menu he couldn't do this.? It was a small thing, but took the edge off our dining experience. My bill came to over £150, so I would have thought a small gesture could have been made.
Lovely food and good timely service, will definitely return. The lunchtime set menu is good value for money and worth a visit especially on a rainy day like today.
A very pleasant dining experience. the menu was imaginative and food well presented. The staff were pleasant and attentive. The only negative point was the restaurant was very warm , and with the window doors open, noisy from the busy road outside.
Good food and service. Some tables in the central area are gloomy and airless ( a fan had been put in place) suggesting the aircon isn't effective. Good value.
I visit Côte in Reigate regularly with friends and we always have an enjoyable evening. Tonight was very good, the food was great and the staff efficient and friendly.
Very good food and service as always - never had a bad experience at any Cote restaurant. The waiter was particularly good (can't remember his name!) and friendly.
Staff attentive, service at leisurely pace, food as always very good. (Prawns gratin followed by slow roast belly pork). After many visits, still a pleasure to eat at Cotes.
A lovely evening at the restaurant. It was very busy and a bit noisier than usual as the air conditioning had broken so they had opened the front windows to allow in some air...but also traffic noise. However the food was on point as was the service and that's what really matters.
As usual, an excellent meal at a reasonable price. You are very rarely disappointed at Cote. Nice atmosphere and not too noisy. Staff very attentive and efficient. Will keep going.
Generally speaking Cote never disappoints. They offer good food at sensible prices and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant. The front of house staff are all very welcoming and helpful but on this occasion service was a little slow. They did apologise which we appreciated. There was a large party in the restaurant which was taking up all their time. So basically my view is they were understaffed that evening to cope with the number of guests. The waiting staff were doing their best and my enjoyment was not reduced - and I will go back again.
