Côte Reigate

Visited for lunch today and really couldn't fault anything. Perfectly cooked roast duck breast and rump of lamb as our two respective main courses and both delicious and elegantly presented. Look forward to seeing what the new February's menu will have to offer!

Really good meal. Nice atmosphere and ambience, good quality food and wine. Service was decent although it took a while to flag someone down at the end of the evening to get the bill. Would go again.

Our meal was excellent as always. There was a good buzzy atmosphere in the restaurant but not too loud. The ages of the clientele ranged from a 9 year old as part of a family group to the retired. Everyone enjoying themselves.

I booked online which was very straightforward.we arrived on time and were seated straight away, the food was fab and would go again. well worth the money, which wasn't ​ expensive.

Good food, good service - as always at Côte! I preferred a previous table at the front of the restaurant, it felt more cramped at the back.

I'm a celiac so this is my favourite restaurant. Great professional service, nothing is too much trouble. Food appears to be chef cooked rather than reheated pub grub. Great value for money.

After my previous experience at the Cote in St Martin's Lane, London - when there had been some misunderstanding of the special January offer of a complimentary bottle of wine with the booked meal - I was most impressed with the service and especially the quality of the food. The prompt and efficient manner in which my previous experience had been dealt with by the Customer service management (thank you Daryl) coupled with the dining experience at the Cote in Reigate, made for a very happy evening all round. The only reason for not awarding the 6/6 score would be because the customers' coat stands, which were overloaded with coats were too close to our dining position. Two coats fell off onto my wife as she was dining: this however I would imagine could be easily remedied by the local manager. Many thanks for your consideration; I will certainly come again; now that I know how good it can be. Ian D. West Sussex

Excellent service, ambience and food. The Breton fish stew was very good indeed. We booked for a quiet, civilised Sunday evening meal and that is exactly what we had!

Excellent food & Service. Really enjoyed my visit here, felt very welcomed, the food came out quickly and was presented very nicely on the plate.

Delicious meal, with complimentary bottle of Merlot. The lamb rump, a January special was a real treat. Service was fast, efficient and friendly. The experience cheered up a wet and dreary Sunday for us.

Came for 2 birthdays in family, friendly staff starters came and we're very nice, order mains 1 was forgotten but quickly rectified sadly the beef bouginon was cold meat was burnt and dry, also the rissoto was tasteless, waiter said the price of the beef bouginon would be taken off bill but then said I could have a free dessert!

Lovely atmosphere, staff very helpful and meal was delicious. All 4 of us chose different items from the extensive menu and we all enjoyed all of our meals.

Food at Cotes always lovely, and this was as good as ever. The Crème Caramel is divine and the special offer of a free bottle of wine made for a very good value meal.

Great restaurant. Great bistro food in an informal atmosphere. Friendly service too. No pressure to release the table which was also good and made the evening better.

The seating was uncomfortable and hard. A shame really as the service, the food and the atmosphere was very good. I may well give the restaurant (Reigate) another try to see if we were just unfortunate in the table we were given.

Excellent food and ambiance. I can recommend the French onion soup followed by the sea bass. Didn’t have any room for pud! Well spaced and friendly service too. All in all A lovely evening.

Ordered from botg the set and main menu today. Calamari were perfectly cooked - crisp and very tasty. The Poulet Grille (plat rapide) is another fine chicken dish. Seafood Linguine had plenty of shellfish and perfect pasta. service excellent as usual.

Lovely restaurant ambience . Unfortunately my steak had to be taken back as it was over-cooked which was disappointing. Was compensated with dessert on the house. Staff were attentive and apologetic.

This is a fantastic restaurant offering high quality food at reasonable prices.

We were offered a choice if table. The service was very good. Also the food on the table d'hote menu was excellent, although I did think there could have been another vegetable with the seabass.

Courteous and polite staff. Efficient and attentive service. Food was delicious and a wide variety on offer. Although quite busy the background noise was not overpowering.

Always love going to Cote, however today the service was very slow and the food was not served as hot as we would have liked. Were unable to stay for desserts as the meal had taken much longer than usual unfortunately.

I am a regular customer, but unfortunately this was the first time I have experienced a poor meal @ Cote. I ordered confit of duck. When the meal was served it was luke warm/cold & I sent it back. The duck was recooked, clearly in haste, & I can't say it was great, even though I did finish the meal.

The table for 6 was very cramped - we had to put empty dishes and bottles on the floor which spoiled the evening. When challenged the response was “it’s standard”

Very attentive service and great food. Also when we asked a taxi home was ordered for us and that was great. Who could ask for more?

Not full menu offered as out of stock, such as moules - but came with the stew when ordered that. Staff rude at end as had given us incorrect dessert menu so took it out on us. General note as good as usual which was very disappointing as was a treat for the children at Christmas.
